Obviously, this was greatly influenced by Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors. For details, I referenced Jaime Margary's replica of Audrey II: [link]

This twisted juxtaposition of baby and maggot is quite the conversation starter! This version is hand-painted by TK Miller and is limited to an edition size of 25 pieces. Hand sculpted by TK Miller. 4.5 x 3 x 3.5 inches.

A few weeks back I visited that rascal :iconhandyrand: and he encouraged me to post some of my sketches and doodles here, I think mainly because he wanted me to divert negative attention away from himself. Well, here's the first of the lot...

Do bear in mind that my photoshop skills are nigh non-existent, the original sketch was perhaps five inches in height and accomplished whilst driving at high speeds. Oh, and I'm a sculptor, not a fancy drawing-artiste, so there.

Without further ado, I give you the Clayton Cannibal.

This took MUCH thought, and has MUCH meaning, but is so simple in the end. I am a little disappointed, and now after some practice I believe It MUST be redone. Feel free to tell me what you think. To me its the meaning behind it thats important. But even with that being said, I can do a better job at highlighting this.

This picture was created for a good friend of mine, As sort of a memorial for her husband, who she lost due to brain cancer. THE brain powered by the clockwork gears was one thin made to represent life and how everything down to our mind is as fragile as clockwork. However there is another reason for the clockwork brain. In her words, "My husband was the biggest tech guy you could find" and to resemble this in her own personal memorial tattoo was clockwork. So what better thing to use than clockwork for this brain. The brain was selected because when we first began to talk, we had an art trade, which resulted in me getting a clay brain necklace. WIth what has happened it now feels important to me. This is also in respects to any and all who have struggled with brain cancer. Being one of the roughest forms of cancer I know. The clockwork and the brain can go a little more in depth to who he was and how he was, but its better to keep my explanation from getting any longer.

Best of wishes to my friend Amanda and her kids.

An owl containing clockwork, and yes, some of those gears are supposed to resemble a wooden texture such as that big one.
This was in attempt to stretch my pen skills and do things I wouldn't dare consider before.

NOTE: THIS PIECE IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE AS TATTOO, ILLUSTRATION, ETC. IT IS CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF BEING DEVELOPED INTO AN ALBUM COVER. ONCE THE BAND HAS DECIDED IT WILL BE NOTED IF THIS PICTURE CAN OR CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY REASONS. HOWEVER IF YOU WOULD STILL LIKE TO USE THIS FOR SOME REASON, PLEASE MESSAGE ME TO WORK SOMETHING OUT UNLESS IT REGARDS TO A TATTOO.

GI JOE#6 cover

GI JOE #6 cover or Roadblock is his damn name.

His name is Roadblock.

Not Heavy Duty.

Roadblock does not speak in rhymes. Roadblock will hit you so hard you will think you’ve been hit by a truck.

His name is Roadblock.

Nuff’ said.

The Cover that was a cover, then a commission, and then became a cover again.

Originally this was the cover for Cover for GI JOE ORIGINS #19. It ended up being due right around the same time my daughter was born so it didn't work out for the schedule. So the idea went into a draw. Shortly after that I was commissioned to do a Snake-Eyes piece and I thought "here's my chance!" While I was working on if Andy Schmidt mentioned the cover gallery book and I told him about the piece I was working on and it again became a cover. I've been sitting on this for awhile. I hope you like it.

There is a version of this that's extra bloody, where the bullet is has been fired and is just beginning to exit the front of the trooper's forehead. I'll get around to posting it one of these days.
