I've always loved drawing Star Wars and have already posted some of my pictures:

Star Wars has been around a long time now - so I really don't get anything from seeing images that copy stills from the movies or don't add any originality. So I always try to paint something that you haven't seen before - and with this one I've attempted to mix the epic 'movie poster' look with the feel of a super-hero team cover.

I really went all-out with this piece and it took a very long time to complete. I painted it at a very high resolution (it's a 330mb PSD file) but I dramatically reduced it here to make it quicker to load.

Hope you like!

I like the design of the Shock Troopers from Revenge of the Sith... so I thought I'd draw some - and this is the result.

When I started this I also drew the Emperor in the background with his arms raised up to the sky shooting force lightning - as I'd imagined this scene taking place after they'd landed on Mustafar (the volcanic planet) - with him commanding the troops to "find Lord Vader". But... it kind of distracted from the Shock Troopers so I left him out. And I think the piece is better for it.

This is a low-res version of my drawing which I sketched on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and finished on my desktop PC using Photoshop and a Wacom pad. It's an original depiction of George Lucas’s / Disney’s copyright characters – intended solely to show my artistic ability. I’m not a professional – this is fan art – and none of my work is for sale or available for reproduction.

The character of Boba Fett was first conceived as a kind of 'super' Stormtrooper - and initiallly had a white outfit. Even though the white armour never made it to the movie I thought that would be a cool look to draw.

What I've done here is mix elements of Jango Fett's Mandalorian outfit with a Clone Trooper armour in an attempt to come up with a plausible reason for the armour to be white.

For the purpose of this picture... Jango is testing out the standard clone armour - but insisted on wearing his own superior body suit and helmet to protect his vital organs. He knew that the clone armour was being mass-produced cheaply and he didn't want to get killed on account of a test! It's a stretch I know!

If you've got a better excuse for why he might be wearing a white outfit - let's hear it!

This is an entirely original depiction of George Lucas's characters. First drawn with pencil then scanned and coloured in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.

"Daddy, the 501st is my favorite legion, you have to do a picture with them..." my son told me. To be honest, he calls almost every legion or siege his favorite, but why not start with the 501st?

First of all, :iconsushiprincess: is awesome. She's been waiting since December for this thing, and it took FOREVER to do. I actually finished some Rex lineart and decided I hated it so I had to start him over from scratch. But now I dig it, so it's all good!

Anyway, she asked for Fives and Rex fighting together on Umbara! That story arc is my favorite from the Filoni Clone Wars series, so I was more than happy to oblige.

So my thanks to her for commissioning me! Here's a list of my rates:

"FREEZE, YOU REBEL SCUM!"

Mixed Media - Storm Troopers were line sketched with a graphite pencil, scanned, and the rest was completed in Photoshop CS5. I never really planned to do this one, but it was more of a side project to help keep me sane through this semester of school.

The Galactic Script at the top translates to: "501st Legion
Vader's Fist"

Finally have time to do some art now that the semester is over. Did this one over the course of two weeks. I recently saw the Alderaan trailer for Bioware's upcoming "Old Republic" game, and that is what inspired me to create this picture.

I've also never done a self-portrait, so I decided to use my head as a model. This picture turned out to be a lot more involved than I originally thought..Hope you like it!

Edit: Thank you, all, for all the faves! Much appreciated as always! :)

Completed in Photoshop CS5.

This one is a bit different for me. 90% was digitally painted but I also used some photo-manipulation for a change.
Started out as me trying my hand at this tutorial: [link]

Everything (including the planets) were digitally created by myself.

The Malevolence and two Star Destroyers were utilized from stock photos and edited heavily.

I know this is Star Wars fan art, but it was nspired by "Arrival - Part 5" from the Mass Effect 2 Soundtrack. Give it a listen while viewing, specifically the first 45 seconds.

This is one of ten pieces I did for the new Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare. I had a blast working on it and I'm excited that I am able to contribute to the Star Wars universe.

I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the book. Hope you guys enjoy them!

An aerial panoramic view of the famous Battle of Grassy Plains in Ep 1. It was very tedious to paint hordes of Gungans and Battle Droids plus I had to make sense of the troop formations but it all turned out well in the end.

This is one of my favorite pieces from the Galactic Civil War era. This battle, which took place after the destruction of the first Death Star but before the events of Empire Strikes Back, was an elaborate ambush set by Vader and the Empire to destroy the Alliance leadership along with its fleet. Under overwhelming odds the Rebels would've fled to a designated location where they would regroup, but had they done that they would have found another Imperial fleet waiting for them. The fleet instead dispersed and made random jumps to avoid being completely annihilated. The Alliance almost lost the entire fleet from this battle but enough survived to carry on the fight and eventually make a comeback at the Battle of Endor.

This battle is recounted in the Star War comic "Rebellion: My Brother, My Enemy".

Of the ten pieces I did for Warfare I think this is my favorite one. This scene takes place at the Battle of Kashyyyk during the Second Galactic Civil War where Galactic Alliance forces clash with Confederate forces made up of Bothans, Wookies, Hapans and the Jedi Order. The battle rages around the Anakin Solo, commanded by Jacen Solo (secretly Darth Cadeus), as she bombards the planet surface of Kashyyyk from orbit with her forward long-range turbolasers.

Other things to note in this piece is the never-before-seen Wookie Owool Interceptors making attack runs on the Anakin Solo and the Stealth X fighters flown by Jaina Solo and the Jedis in the foreground. There are also some XJ3/XJ5 X-wings flying about and for those who are wondering about the Mon Calamari Cruiser, yes, it is an MC90 class.

Always have been - and always will - be an ARC fangirl~ I remember in elementary school, I'd wear my sweaters around my waist thinking it was like the ARC's kama skirts. xD Good times.

This could be just any ol' ARC, though I have a particular bit of favoritism towards Ordo. So why not him? xD

Enjoy, vode~ ;D

Guh, I am so glad to be done with this. @.@; I love these two like nothing else, but I definitely got sick working on this one after a bit. xD

Anyway, it's everyone's favorite duo - Ordo and Skirata! This would actually probably take place somewhere in Triple Zero, considering how many times these two were cavorting around the rooftops blasting the shebs off of the terrorists. ;D

Can I take a minute here to ramble just a bit why Skirata merits my eternal respect? He's a shabuir like Vau, but sheer amount of love for his boys is just ... mind boggling. It's easy to love someone's who's pretty easy and okay to take care of ... but there's no mistaking that the Nulls have been through hell and back and; well, they're a bit of a handful at times, as he says. And if he says that, that's something.

But it's not just the Nulls, it's every decent (or not!) person that he comes across that needs that mentor-figure. Hell, it even extends to who's reading the books, as I swear he has this magnetic loyalty that just reels you in.

tldr; he cares - not about who you were/are in terms of lineage, but your character and self. And that's a rare trait.

So! Anyway, enjoy the picture. ;D

bwuh more Vau doodles. Who would have thunk it. xD

Not actually him on TripZero in the books, as he was with Etain on a ledge, not in a cubbyhole. This is just a prior job. : P As he and Kal definitely got to all sorts of ~mischief~ before Kamino.

(kinda hate how Mird turned out but trying to draw an animal in that kind of perspective, with wrinkles AND fur on top of that was a nightmare. argh))

Enjoy, ner vod. ;D
