Acornpaw shivered as he walked at the back of the patrol, the air was icy, fog swirled around his creamy paws. He looked up, he slowed slightly, he frowned I recognize this place
"Keep up!" Crowfeather called from near the front of the patrol, he and Wishdream had been discussing what to do when they entered the territory.
Acornpaw merely raised an eye brow, he sighed and bounded back to the patrol. He soon found himself by Swiftleafs side, his heart skipped a beat, "Hey, do they every stop talking?" he hissed, indicating to the two chattering patrol leaders, he blinked and for the first time he noticed Robbinpaw trying to chirp in a point or two to impress the senior warriors.
Swiftleaf laughed softly and nudged Acornpaw, "At least they know what their doing, I don't want to get into trouble, especially with the Clawpack around " she shuddered.

All heads turned to look at the outsiders. They began to whisper quietly, but the whispers soon turned into a chorus of murmurs, their tails flicking as they exchanged anxious glances. Bluestar's authoritative yowl silenced the questions and the silence that followed seemed to pound in Fireheart's ears. Sharkface stiffened while Silverpelt stared blankly at her surroundings. But there was nothing else to be said, they had no choice but to wait 'till moonhigh. Yellowfang approached Bluestar, who straightened her posture, ready to pad back into her den. With a respectful gesture, Yellowfang addressed her leader, "Bluestar?" but before she could say more, Bluestar swung her head around and stared at the old medicine cat.
"Yellowfang, I must speak with you," the leader spoke firmly.
"Of course, but " Yellowfang turned to look at the two cats, "what about them?"
Bluestar turned her head to glance towards Sharkface and Silverpelt, who remained plastered to their spot.

Warm shafts of sunlight penetrated through the entrance of the medicine cat's den. Long thin grass had spread along the entrance, swaying and dancing with every passing breeze. It nearly covered the entire hole, only allowing little strings of light to flicker over the beautiful white's pelt. Cleansoul woke with a sour taste in her mouth, and as she inhaled in a yawn, she found herself choking under so much heat. The she-cat wasn't used to such heavy weather. During her kithood, she thought that twolegs could control the weather. It was never too cold nor too hot in her twoleg's nest. Everything was so different now. There were no twolegs to control the weather anymore, she'd have to endure whatever the forest threw at her. But when she inhaled again, she ended up coughing violently. Suffocating, but not from the heat this time; the strong smell of herbs filled the medicine cat's den, overtaking all other smells.
