Part Three: Is It Alright If I Come Home?
Sherlock paced the flat thinking of something to do; experiments seemed to be only failures and it was not like anyone knew he was alive to actually give him a case. There was absolutely nothing to do, but to pace and hate his hair and hate that John was not there.
Though he was happy to be in his old style of dressing and the warm walls of his flat surrounding him; it felt great to be home and not hidden away in some hole in the wall. It was strange how he could go three years without being this wound up yet one meeting with John in person seemed to mak

Chapter Five: "Yes, I am in love with Sherlock,"
John couldn't concentrate on Lestrade, the feelings were great but that was all it was a reaction to action. John couldn't enjoy Lestrade's mouth on him or the feeling of Lestrade's hands brushing over his chest. It wasn't only that John couldn't get over the one thought circling in his brain, a single name, Sherlock.
A tingling in John chest told him he needed to stop ignoring what Sherlock meant to him, not a crush anymore, maybe it never was. I am in love with Sherlock aren't I? John thought and found him suppressing the urge to cry. He knew the truth deep dow

I woke up the next morning to see everyone else was still asleep, I sat up and went to my bathroom brush my teeth. When I got out, everyone was beginning to wake up, "good morning everyone" I said and they all mumbled. "what, am I the only one who woke up in a good mood".
Corbyn answered my question before anyone could say anything when he said "oh yeah, I'm gonna be a dragon" he got up and started cheering.
"Dude, keep it down, my parents are still asleep" I said.
"Sorry" he said.
"It's cool, if I had known I was going to change, I would have cheered". I said, laughing.

As I'm sitting in class, I can't help but worry that at any point, my secret could get out, considering that the classroom is filled with computers and on that particular day, we were doing a project on the computers. As I sit down, I slowly reach for the keyboard, Will is watching me the entire time and asks "Why so freaked out, you've used it before" and starts laughing, I'm embarrassed, but I have my reasons. I touch the keyboard and to my relief, no shock comes out. I touch the mouse and no shock. I relax a bit and get to work on my project. While we're working, another friend of mine walks up. Desp

The door opened and my mom walked through saying "Did you fini.." she stopped when she saw me and I could tell she was going to freak out. I tried to think of something I could say to her to calm her down but the best I could come up with was a simple and sheepish "Hi". Not my smartest idea as when I said that, she immediately jumped out of her skin and ran downstairs for the phone. I followed her down to see her trying to dial for help, from who though, I don't know. I grabbed the phone from her and said "Mom, it's me, Aaron"
She looked at me and I could see that she finally recognized me. She asked "W

I'm your average teen; school, friends just trying to get by. That changed one day, but I'm getting ahead so let's start from the beginning. It started on a typical day; I went through my college classes working on all the projects, dealt with the usual distractions, went home and worked on a few stories, watched TV, browsed the internet etc. While on Yahoo, I noticed a news story about a city in Rhode Island that apparently had a few kids who looked like dragons, though it seemed like a lie, I looked anyway. To my surprise, there were a few pictures of the kids, one of them was blue while the oth

The one who had saved us, I remembered that he had been called Neil, along with a a few others, one was the same color as Corbyn without the runes, one was white and one was red like Joe. I wanted to speak out, but the pain was still there and my body was still trying to wake up. I was surprised when another white dragon came walking up, though he looked like he was made of clouds. I looked in disbelief at who was standing there, my cousin, Joe was having the dream now. I told him that he was having a dream that had changed the rest of us. Needless to say, the fact that he was a huge fan of dragons like me made him rather excited about it. I motioned for him to follow me outside with Isaac and we stepped out. I stopped them and said "okay, the fact that you're both having the dream is a bit weird, but regardless, what you guys need to do is go outside and..uhm, that reminds me, what do you see, Isaac?" I spread my wings and began to flap them, the fact that I had never flown before now meant that I had no idea how to control myself, so things were going to be a little awkward. I managed to take off from the ground and found that it was strangely easy, almost like flight was instinctual. I raised myself further off the ground, turned myself towards the store and began to fly, the store wasn't very far so the flight was only a few seconds long. I got to the parking lot, found a hidden spot to change back and headed in. my grandma had given me a list to follow so I headed around and picked up everything. I hea

Several days after we arrived at Westington, we all had noticed that the guards were starting to leave town. They were giving up on finding Nathan here. Joshua and Jessie were able to get Nathans backpack from the hiding place. We had to set it out on the back porch to dry, due to a rainstorm we had one night. And, Joshua and Jessie promised us that theyd take us to the Valley of Borea in their car. Good news for me. I wanted to get the quest overwith, and walking takes too long.

As we wandered through the streets of Durhia, it was apparent that either everyone in the city was used to seeing dragon ghosts, or Nathan was the only one who could see me. But I didn't pay much attention to that. My thoughts were mostly on the city around me. To think that mankind has advanced this far during my life on Mt. Kolz; it's absolutely amazing! We planned on waiting until dark to enter Durhia Castle, so I had plenty of time to ask about some of this technology. I tried asking Nathan about a few things, but he wouldn't answer. In fact, he hadn't said a word to me since we entered the city.

It was all my fault. I had failed to protect Aura's Jewel, and had to pay the price. For many years, I had to endure one dangerous adventure after another. Though now that my punishment is finally almost over, I can think about the past without feeling much grief, and I can see that the new life I had to endure was a lot more interesting than the one before it. But I sure wouldn't have thought so back then.
Let me think here... When did this all start? Ah, yes, it was before the first curse started. I can't quite remember how many years ago that was. It's been so long; I lost track of time a long time ago. Hmm, wha

At first I wasn't sure what just happened. Best guess, Nathan attacked me and snatched the jewel, and Aura blinded me. But something didn't seem right about this blindness. It felt like I was floating! I tried moving around, but didn't seem to get anywhere. It appeared that I had been transported to a void of darkness. No light, no sound, nothing. The only sound I could hear was the flapping of my wings when I tried to get around. So this was the greater punishment for failing in my duty to protect Aura's Jewel.
At first I could think about nothing but being in this void for the rest of my life, however l

Nathan decided to continue being a wolf for a while longer, despite the danger that previously accompanied it. Fortunately, his mind stayed normal for the rest of the time. He still had to hunt for food, but he no longer needed to have the instincts of a wolf to do so.
A week later, we decided that it was time to move on. By then, Wyte and his soldiers would probably be long gone. Of course, there was still a problem. Two of them, actually. For one, Nathan didnt have any clothes to put on once he changed back to normal. For another, once human, Nathan would once again be a wanted man. Those wante

Nathan was now a wolf; a wild animal. And, he now had to act like one. We still had Auras Jewel at the time, so Nathan could have changed himself back to human form, but with General Wyte and his troops looking for us, we had to stay low for a while. Knowing this, Nathan knew that he would have to hunt like a wolf. But he had little knowledge of wolves at the time, aside from tales of werewolves and the like. So we decided to try to unlock another power of Auras Jewel. If the jewel can change someones form, then it can change the mind as well. If the jewel did have such a power, then the j

Joshua and Jessie continued to take care of Nathan while things were calming down in the town. And I was still certain that the two brothers would probably kill Nathan before that happened.
During the wait, the brothers fed Nathan, gave him a bed to sleep in, and some new clothes. His old clothes were a little worn from traveling in the mountain forest and the encounter with Blaque and his army.
