A quick, initial reworking of this Little Victory character: [link]

He's kind of Punisher-like, but his motivations are a little more complex than "Kill Everything".

Tin Tin the explorer,

The Shadow the sly,

Popeye the strong,

Dick Tracy the wise.

I always thought of how cool it would be if these guys teamed up in they're day in a book.

You ever had an idea that you think is going to be amazing and then immediately while you’re still coming up with the idea you realize how silly, stupid, or nonsensical it is? Like you haven’t actually finished forming the thought and you already know it’s going nowhere?

Comic artist Guillem March recently posted a sequence that was cut from The New 52‘s Catwoman #3. The pitch: Catwoman figures out Batman’s true identity and uses her feminine wiles to exploit him to do her bidding.

Then you actually SEE the sequence and realize that it involves Catwoman doing a strip-tease on Bruce Wayne’s front lawn. The scene was ultimately scrapped to focus on Catwoman coping over the loss of her friend Lola.

It's great that that scene was cut... but what worries me is this inside glimpse into what “could have been” shows that these outdated ideas of what feminist power and agency actually are... is still present and lingering even in 2011. (Don’t believe me? Look up the various ways they try to explain the “boob window” on Power Girl’s costume)

The Genie from Aladdin, Megamind, and Bob from Reboot make the ultimate Blue Man Group!

If you haven't seen a Blue Man Group show, I strongly recommend it. They're awesome.

EDIT: I didn't "forget" anyone. I chose these three specifically because I wanted to draw them. I'm fully aware of Osmosis Jones, Dr. Manhattan, Smurfs, Nightcrawler, and other "blue" characters. It was not my intent to draw EVERY blue character. I just wanted to draw these three guys specifically.

Because I liked his backstory the most out of all my OC's |3
and to think i came up with all this when i was 14. I must have been one seriously twisted child. Figured it at least deserved a comic strip

will be continued in part 2 :D

And please, im begging you people. Don't compare my OC's with whatever other characters out there who might look similar. i hate it when my works are compared to others the most.

And that's that.

In case you didn't understand wut the hell just happened, it goes like this:

Basically, Vex is the head honcho of the group of 'True Death Gods' called the Asar. He is called The Uggae, which means 'God of Death' in ancient Sumerian. (Btw, Asar means 'All-seeing eye' in Sumerian as well)
An Asar's job is to look into and analyze a person's soul before he/she dies, and judge whether he/she will go to heaven or hell. After, he passes on the job to his partner, an executor, to finish off the poor soul. But before that, the soul must be cleansed of all sins and deeds to pass through to their destination, and to do that, the person's one true wish must be granted.
There are currently 5 Asars, each having their own unique power to fulfill a dying person's wish. The power Vex used in this comic is one of those powers, and that is physically changing his outer appearance to look like the person who will have the most effect on a dying soul (In this case, the son of that Morris dude)

Hope that clears things up. sorry if the whole thing didnt make much sense. I came up with this backstory back when i was 14, and i didnt really wanna change anything about it, so... xD

...i'm defo gonna be drawing more of this guy. Its just way too much fun |D

Ah yes, Canada and Denmark's epic battle for Hans Island.

Hans Island is the smallest of three islands not far from Greenland's coast, and Canada and Denmark have been fighting over it for years.

War ships from both sides patrol the area, and when they encounter each other they...show their flags.
When the soldiers leave the ships they...take the other side's flag down and raise their own.
Sometimes they leave a bottle of whiskey for each other too.

Quite possibly the tamest war ever, yet USA and Sweden have tried their best to make the sides hate each other. USA's media have had stories about Denmark "invading Canadian soil" and Swedish media had a few stories about it as well and later comedians called Danish politicians and pretended to be Canadian politicians.

So far it hasn't really worked. :XD:

An old joke that just didn’t work with the usual characters.

I know some people won’t get it, and all I will say to help you along is: Please notice what Sweden and Finland looks like together without Norway. ;)
That was actually what early euros looked like because Norway isn't in the EU. :XD:

Åland got it's own flag because he is a fairly big character in the usual comics.
