This is shot I took of Mario just before he fought this Huge ass Gorilla in the distance.
Somehow he heard about some shit here in Mount Yoshi that the Big Simian guarded and needed to get his stubby, pizza eating hands on them. So yeah...reason for the visit. Uhhh...Mario was totally unaware that he had to beat a number of obstacles and order to attain what he wanted, so I believe this was the 1st level of many. Totally sucked balls!
His job: Beat every obstacles, slay the Simian at the Top and Acquire a mysterious set of items.
MAH CATAPULTS. LET ME SHOW YOU THEM. Fear his genius.
Featuring: St. Germain, Napoleon Bonaparte, Chevalier D'eon, Ferdinand II, Frederick the Great, Blas de Lezo y Olavarrieta, and Leonardo da Vinci.
ps. I've given up trying to be on time. I post these things at like 3:00 or 4:00 am so you're still seeing them the day after. Also going away this weekend to A SEXY BARN DANCE in Atlanta. Hopefully I'll fit all 12 comics before Christmas lol
Kei & Yuri, the Dirty Pair.... a variant cover done for Dark Horse Comics back in the 20th Century. At the time, I wondered if I should have drawn them in a manga/anime style, but I thought that the reason you hire different artists is to get different interpretations.

Comic artist Guillem March recently posted a sequence that was cut from The New 52‘s Catwoman #3. The pitch: Catwoman figures out Batman’s true identity and uses her feminine wiles to exploit him to do her bidding.
Then you actually SEE the sequence and realize that it involves Catwoman doing a strip-tease on Bruce Wayne’s front lawn. The scene was ultimately scrapped to focus on Catwoman coping over the loss of her friend Lola.
It's great that that scene was cut... but what worries me is this inside glimpse into what “could have been” shows that these outdated ideas of what feminist power and agency actually are... is still present and lingering even in 2011. (Don’t believe me? Look up the various ways they try to explain the “boob window” on Power Girl’s costume)
