drawn last spring, i forgot all about this drawing. it was a project where we had to draw ourselves as animals, and not being the kind of person who's into furries, i drew myself as a deep sea isopod.... a nerdy deep sea isopod who plays katamari, wears glasses, and speaks some japanese.

i don't know what was more fun, drawing this, or seeing everyone's reaction, when they drew themselves as lions, or hawks, or some other logical animal. :B

ballpoint pen and markers

here's some lolisopods for you :XD:

Just a quick thing I did yesterday, but I wanted to upload something new to DA! +_+ I've been getting into Saint Seiya pretty recently (I am forever late to fandoms) and have been loving it! Can't wait to get further with already so much I want to draw :9

Felt like drawing some sort of portrait and did my second Demon's Souls character as a result. I actually use Gloom Armour and wear no helm because it looks cool, yep.

Didn't plan to upload this at first, but why not. Just a random drawing inspired by a certain photograph, maybe someone will recognize it (or maybe not).
Title is a name of the song by These New Puritans I've been listening to while drawing.

aah the whole charlotte battle is one of my favourite parts of the show, the fast-baced music and the detail in the background are really great.

i finished this in one or two sittings which is strange for me?? i was so hungry afterwards. yeah.

Lusitano gelding, owned by Pine Lodge school of classical equitation.

Acrylic on canvas board, 16 x 20.

Hmm dont think this is entirely finished, though Im very constrained by deadlines at the moment so it'll do for now, though I do hope I can revisit this some time!

(and I promise the next submission isn't another grey horse.. hurrah!)

Christmas present for the horse's owner and my very good friend!

Box canvas, acrylic paint.

edit: There are two versions of this painting, I did another one on an 18 x 14 board, slightly different, which sold at the Royal Norfolk show. Alack no decent pics of it !

Balastro, pre stallion.

Considering the still / statue type pose (even though the horse was trotting) I felt like going for a softer look!

Not a very good photo of it, as always.. uh!

16 x 20, acrylic

Gah! Lineless...WHY YOU NOT LIKE ME?!

Why did I jump into using this guy for my 3rd lineless attempt is beyond me. Hands everywhere! Tero would have been a nightmare too, I suppose.
Fun nonetheless. :)

See? Original stuff. :B

Playing with lineless again. I'm still playing around. Heh. Finally doing tablet drawings. =) This makes my 4th Sai attempt now.

Sparks is a bit unsure about something. I just doodled him a bit today and just pick a random one to do this with.

I dunno if I'll keep doing these, but they are fun.

Giftart for :iconraptorbane:

Just wanted to try someone's character with lineless to see how it goes. Love this guy's design, so worth a shot.

Simple bust, but was fun.
Did this while I sat bored in the cafe at college today. 6 hours between classes suck. Namely, after waiting it...the class is cancelled.

Anyways, hope this is okay to you, Raptor.

Second attempt at a rabbit card (trying to get the first attempt to look right). This one took longer than the bird cards. With the different features of the rabbit, it was a bit of a challenge to get the rabbit to fit.
Acrylics and graphite pencil on playing card

At the age of 20 years Ska Mani went irreparably lame after a stumble on a slippery trail. Being a creature of fierce dignity, he was put to sleep and buried on a windy summit where the forest parted to a view of long blue mountains. May he rest in peace.

He had only two progeny, Occident and Maximilian.

Watercolours, gouache and charcoal.

I found this ancient sketch while cleaning out my desk draws. I think this is the first time I ever drew Tehan Luta! Which means it must be from around Dec 2010. I never uploaded it because the colours were so garish.

This is an xmas present for my sister...again. Another montage like Basher last year. Monty does flyball and she wanted the two smaller studies to be of him doing flyball.
The hurdle is a bit wonky but, oh well. I had to hurry up on that last study because time was pressing and I had to give the framer time to get it done before he breaks up before xmas.

Usual mixed media on fabriano hotpress. A3 in size.
