Here is a cool charm bracelet featuring handmade charms I cut from vintage wood rulers and soldered. I applied a black patina to the solder to distress them even more! The charms are reversible too!
Thanks so much for looking! :)

This was my costume for The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2011. A Tyranid Hormagaunt from Warhammer 40000. Yes I play nids.

Please Click this link [link] [link] [link]
To see more of this costume in action and in higer definition.
I also explain the two main things its made up of.

This was a great idea by my friend :iconj-walker-anonymous: :iconj-walker-anonymous: :iconj-walker-anonymous: We were going to go together as tyranids but there was not enough time for both of our costumes.

It has an articulated (working) jaw and upright tail, extra arms etc. Really the photos speak for themselves.

Got an interview with "space" channel and shaw TV!
I did not go through with entering the contst as the staff were telling me to, because.. it wasnt cool doing it alone when it was a friend thing. But I did win a "Hall Masquerade" blue ribbon award anyways.

This was alot of work and effort. Was the best I could do in 5 days that I had set aside before CCEE.
However I know whats wrong with it and shall put more time into this. The bodysuit is going to be redone as it weighs 40lbs, the legs are missing a joint and people thrashed the tail at the con.
A big shout out to :iconcaninehybrid: who's youtube and flicker accounts I studied in order to figure out the articulated jaw! Here is an instructional video! [link]

Not for sale or remake
The most fun I have ever had making a hoodie.
This one had the craziest stuff to figure out. Like making the antenna light and comfortable, making the ears squishy so they can be leaned against, making a belt buckle ridgid out of fleece without making it impossible to put on the hoodie.
I learned the difference between a regular hot glue gun and a fine tip hot glue gun... And why it's good to know how to use a soldering iron...

Needless to say I gained a million experience points making this hoodie. I have alot more confidence in my problem solving abilities and my abilities to make a casual, comfortable cosplay hoodie.

This is a present for moose because I am glad he was born!
Not for sale-or remake
This is a Starwars ewok backpack fan art. Moose saw a vintage ewok backpack on sale online and said he would wear it if it wasnt so ugly, so I made him a spookilly accurate one.
Personally I think wicket is scary looking, but I think shih tzus are scary looking too ^^;

I have never made a backpack before and I'm quite happy with it. So even though I rerely post personal things online this does have some reflection on my pattern making abilities.

It also shows off some of my foam versus fur trickery that I rarely get to do :)

Well whether you think this is creepy or cute its still a fun and functional retro inspired bag ^^

I will post them up soon as I get their OK.

Hey there,

Here is something a little different. My agent wanted me to make something for the European market.

This is France's national Bird

The Rooster is made using 1 ten Euro note.

Hopefully this may get me a book deal using the Euro notes.

This is me practicing with some new modules i learned, you can do much more than this simple house but i liked this design... there was a total of 42 modules divided in:
14 Triangle Modules A
14 Triangle Modules B
2 Large Connectors
2 Small Connectors
7 Double Triangle Connectors
1 Roof
1 Square Top

Took some time to make it but i liked it ;)
