Being well aware of that it has a "slight" resemblance of my latest piece on deviantart, I still thought I should finish it.

As I work on call center, the amount of forced overtime and stressful environment lately have been more or less maximized. This didn't leave me with much time before the Luminarium exhibit was to be released - and even less time to start all over when I finally realised I was creating something similar. I did, however, try to add more details and different shapes.

I do not, however, plan on doing much more with this piece. It is considered to be finished since the exhibit is released. :)

Mindplay

Originally started out as a recreation of one of my older projects, namely time travel ([link]). But I changed course along the way and this is the result!

Enjoy.

Information: A little over a week, consisting of ~90 layers. As before; the planet is an earlier creation created and manipulated out of satellite images from NASA's Visible Earth project - with additional manipulations by brushes.

Wacom Graphire 4, Photoshop CS4

An older image I had laying around. Polished it up a bit, not going to rework the whole thing.

Wohoooo a new deviation. I quite like this one although it has no defined focal point and stuff. It became as I imagined it (which happens rarely :D) I hope you enjoy it :P

Any feedback is welcome.

This is an image I put together recently. The Alien flagships actually took ALOT of time to do, though they are so small. I used the background of my design "Cup O' Cosmos" for this image, changed it up a bit, added and removed some features.

Enjoy! :D

Also, the image title comes form the inspiration of this song--->

FINALLY, It seems like forever since I posted anything. But i listened to everyones opinion on my last poll, and BLACK HOLE it is!!

I present to you, "Arrival of the Harbinger"The doom of this forsaken planet looms at the mouth of the Harbinger. The occupants flea in desperation and terror as they watch as there moon is swallowed and eventually their home.

Upsilon Andromedae: A whitish-yellow dwarf of the Andromeda constellation that lies just 44 light years away from Earth. As of 2010, there are 4 confirmed planets surrounding Upsilon Andromedae, but all are most likely Jupiter-like. The planet you see above is my representation of a MOON you might find around one of these 4 warm Jupiter-like planets.

Enjoy!

PS: The Andromeda Galaxy is in the background! ;)

Not very original title but I may lack inspiration.

Resolution: 9600 * 6000 pixels.

Another space scene I couldn't ascertain an appropriate name for, but the right and left sides of the image seem to be pretty balanced, thus the name.
I think this one looks pretty good, I pretty much by chance found a better technique to make gas planets.
The original is pretty huge, 12288*6144 (multiples of 2 and 3 if you for some reason would believe that these are just arbitrarily chosen numbers). The PSB is also one of my biggest yet, 3.5 GiBs.

EDIT: Improved various aspects of this picture, I like it a lot better now.

Decided to create another galaxy, got pretty pleased with this.
Download for full view, it looks less awkward then.

Original resolution is 10400x8000 pixels, this is a slightly cropped section from it.

Update (2012-10-24): I have made some improvements that I've wanted todo fora long time. I think this image now looks better.

This is actually a very old piece I found. I liked the concept and decided to finish it up a bit. Maybe 2-3 hours spent, all photoshop and tablet.

decided to play with my tablet and try my hand at painting a nebula... type... thingy... and this is what came out. :XD:
i finally got my planets to where i have always wanted them to be, thanks to the help of an open planet resource that ~thiagochackal :iconthiagochackal: was kind enough to share [link] .
i also had the help of a tut for the nebula brushing by *ladyrapid :iconladyrapid: here [link] .

anyway, spent about 5-6 hours on this, and im very proud of it. :)
