Thanks, Gents The moderators of another few boards have kindly agreed to help me out and add my Apsara comics to their Do Not Post lists..... much to the disgust of a few individuals, who seem to take huge offense to the reasoning that they giving away my products for free leaves me out of pocket.
Forgot to pop this skratch baby up of these three cool, dark gentlemen. Man I love Darkseid! Nothing is cooler than a dude who can shoot beams out of his eyes that turns corners... AND keep his arms behind his back. Damn!
So I always thought on doing a " Where the Wild Things Are" piece a long while ago but never did for some reason. I thought though that since I'm visiting all my childhood characters I'd do something with these fellers at last.
I always thought on what if the kid stayed in the land of the Wild THings though. How would he turn out...hmm? I might explore that a little. For now though...normal mode.
Arrrggghhhhh was harder than i thought it would be!! *vert-is-ninja made it look easy! Curse her and her incredible drawing skills! Im still getting to grips with this new character (Layla) and I think this exercise just goes to show I need way more practice at drawing characters from different angles! DOH It was wicked fun!
This week style challenge to create a character in the art style of Chris Sanders, My sketch and lines > Ive always loved his work so this was a lot of fun trying to draw in his style. You guys know i love drawing women so its win win 4 me! lolz
This is a Joker commission I did on 11x14 bristol with brush and ink, and watercolor. I love the Joker because his madness allows for some experimentation in his shapes. I love trying out crazy shapes.
Just refined the thumbnail I made a little while back for when I hit 10k views. (I didn't forget!) After sketching this I realized how much work it would be lol. Soooo I'm kinda unsure if I want to take it any further than this at the moment.
Oh, and I probably SHOULD say thanks again for the views.. THANKS!
Oh, the typical female pirate. I just wanted to draw it OK! lol
I tried some different things with the inking, using paint tool SAI from a suggestion, and I really am liking it. and back to Photoshop with the colors where I gave it some shading. While I will keep experimenting with I'm sure until I find something I'm happy with.
Thanks for looking! Any comments or critiques welcome!!
*Edit* Went back on this and changed quite a bit, re-did allllmost all of the line work. From ~DA-Famous-GRP 's suggestions on improving it. Critiques or corrections are ALWAYS greatly appreciated and welcomed!!
I completely forgot to put my explanation of what this is. My idea is that Staceytron is basically creating a world with her "quantum kiss." She actually put it better than I ever could, which is:
"The heart shape feels like a cosmos of pure love, and she is spreading it with her blown kiss; expanding and growing the love outwards, creating the joy of passion in a void of nothingness." -Staceytron
Here's the tightened pencils for the background. Goin to colors now.
What I'm going for here is based off a memory from one of my visits to Taiwan, back in the early 90's. I used to want to be part of their school system. The students' bond was amazing. What I loved was that they wore uniforms, and always seemed to enjoyed one's company.
Here, I am trying to share that with you through this.
well... you best not tell that to the person attached to the back of that horn! HAHAHAHA
I still laugh at that title. No, seriously, I do. I was playing around the other day with some wordplay, and voila. To me, it sounds so tough, but so silly all rolled up into one! Ok, I seriously need to get some shut eye tonight....
Today was a really fun day. I was invited to come check out Blizzard Studios. Man, I was super inspired by the campus and all the cool, and talented folks there.
