I'll be posting some pictures of it soon. Now... where is that keyboard light up button...?

When I first changed my username from DarkAngel to Snowfire77, I never really intended to put 77 in the name xD SnowFire is already taken, and I never really wanted to put any numbers in, but I loved the name so much I entered it in.
Idk, I feel like if I keep my username the way it is, I'll regret it, isn't that weird? ;_;
I've got two in mind: SacredJade and EternityBlue.
Idk, what do you guys think?
Working on the binder...I'm working on the binder and the names tonight! I had no idea so many people would comment! xD Gonna do the thing in pencil first, then add some color. Meh, I might just scan the thing and edit it in photoshop, then print it out~Working on the binder... in Personal More Like This
I'll leave the thing open for a few more days, since there's still a lot of space~ So if you want your name on the binder, now is the time~! Comment here:
We went shopping for school supplies, and yo, I literally felt like I was in an armory, picking up weapons and preparing for war~ xD
Also working on the prologue of Speak No Evil. It's almost finished! And new fanart coming soon, with a new style I picked up~

Should I make a group? If so, what do you all suggest the group be about? Digital art? Featuring? Shipping? Fangirling out the whole time, and doing absolutely nothing productive?
I'd love to hear your suggestions~!
Also, I might be going to Georgia next week. Maybe. Judging by the multiple failed attempts at bringing the family out somewhere, I'm not really going to raise my hopes that high. But hey, if we do go, that's an opportunity to catch a daily tour at their university.
Stay awesome, guys~

I'm getting the epilogue ready, but just let me know what you guys would like to see, to help give the installment a boost~

So an average teenage girl FINALLY gets to go to a meet-and-greet with her favorite rock band. Before she meets them, she thinks that they'll become the best friends, they'll go backstage, talk for hours, etc. Turns out, the meet and greet only lasted two minutes, and she was so excited, she couldn't even ask them the questions she's been planning all along.
Disappointed after the show, she follows the band's RV, because they're driving on the same route she uses to go home. Then guess what.
Well, more like a zombie crosses the road, causing the RV and her car to crash. With only the fangirl and the band surviving, they need to find a way through the forest and through this apocalypse and get back to the studio to seek help.
Along the way, the fangirl realizes that the band isn't all they appear to b

Yeah, the fall didn't feel too good. Especially since it was right in front of my brother. I have this huge scrape on my shoulder and right hand, and a nice little batch of red and black bruises on my knees. It's SUPER hard to walk, especially with my right foot. But meh, I'll probably be alright. Not going to see a doctor, because not only will it stress my mom out, but I've been to the doctor for injuries WAY too many times to count recently.
Gonna get some ice on this thing. The shoulder scrape is the least of my worries at this point. Me and some friends were planning to go to the mall this week, so shit -_-

Well, shit.Well I thought me and my mom were gonna go to Lebanon tomorrow, but my dad cancelled it, because he simply does not want us to go anywhere. I just wanted to see my family for my birthday, and spend time with everyone over there (Who I haven't seen since I was 5 years old, I can barely remember anything.) I really don't want a party for my birthday, or gifts, or money - I just wanted to see my family again. My real family. Not the fake people over here who only say "they care" so they can look good, while in reality all they do is lie. Those are strangers to me.
My mom found cheap tickets for us to go ($1,300 - usually they're over $3,000) but my dad still said no. No matter how hard we begged, he still wouldn't change his mind. The first time I asked him why, he said that I don't deserve anything because I haven't been working for him. When I HAVE been working for him, this time without pay. The

Anyways, during Sophomore year, I found out about SCAD university. Savannah College of Art and Design, and they specialize in creative careers. But back in sophomore year, I wasn't even thinking about moving out.
Since there aren't many universities here that offer creative studies, it looks like moving is back in consideration. They have universities in Savannah, Hong Kong and France, but they also have one here in Georgia, which is a state away. Tuition is 34,000, which is really not bad, and MUCH cheaper than Full Sail. And they offer the same courses. Just out of state.
I know a few friends who are considering going there, but that's about it. Considering. And so am I. So I'm not sure who I'll be with if I actually go.
18,000 saved up. Subtracted from 34,000, and I'm left with 16,000. With federal student aid taking away 1,000, I'm left with 15,000. I'm not sure about scholarships, but if I MUST u

Phil Fish Hacked
Phil Fish, the creator of FEZ, is pretty much universally hated by people online. Recently he spoke out in favor of Zoe Quinn, creator of Depression Quest, who was herself under fire from internet thought police for “corrupting” games journalism’s integrity by sleeping with journalists to get favorable reviews of her game (allegations which later proved to be untrue). Because he spoke out in favor of Zoe Quinn, Phil found himself under a massive internet attack, wherein hackers compromised his SSI, passwords, Polytron's PayPal account, and other sensitive data.
In the wake of the attack, Phil Fish is now selling off the rights to FEZ and to Polytron. He left with this rather depressing twitter message: “I
Animation techniques and more Ghibli thoughtsIn my last journal I mentioned the strange effect of seeing super cartoony flat characters moving around in a hyper realistic world. There's actually a name for this, it's call the "masking effect" and it was quite elaborately detailed by Scott McCloud in his book "understanding comics."Animation techniques and more Ghibli thoughts in Personal More Like This
In comics, frequently the main characters are portrayed as cartoony and simple, while backgrounds often get very detailed. The basic concept is pretty simple. The more cartoony a character is drawn, the more appealing and relatable it is to us as we can more easily imagine ourselves in the role. The more realistic something is, the less of a personal connection you have to it. This is why villains tend to be drawn more realistically, and heros more cartoony. But it goes beyond just the characters... the environment also is affected.
If a person in a cartoon picks up a sword and starts swinging it around, the sword becomes an extension of their body and since it's animated, it becomes a drawn thing whic

Getting started with digital artAs an artist that does digital art, I always get a lot of questions about what tablets people should use and how to make their choices. While I think equipment isn't all that matters, I think some things are good to take in consideration when buying a tablet. So here's something to get you started!Getting started with digital art in Deviant Events More Like This
Why do I need a tablet? Can't I use a mouse instead?
The biggest reason; ergonomics. When you do a lot of computer work in general, it's better to use a tablet over a mouse. This is because a mouse isn't designed for precision work. It's putting too much pressure on muscles that are not intended for precision work, hence it raises your chances to get all kinds of nasty injury's. Even if you can draw just fine with a computer mouse, you might actually consider to start using a tablet, for the reason that
Something about talentI've always disliked the term "talented".Something about talent in Deviant Events More Like This
It implies that things come to you naturally and without any effort, while in reality the people that are considered extremely talented rarely get to the top without any practice. And the 'rarely' is an understatement. I've never seen anyone reach the top without effort. Not ever. I dislike how 'not having talent' is often used as an excuse for not being good at something, while in reality the only real reason that keeps people from accomplishing things is not working hard enough for it. And sure, not working hard enough can have its reasons. Very valid reasons like having different priority's in life, not having enough time next to your school, job or family life, or even battling an illness. It doesn't change the fact that you're capable of doing it.
I always tend to compare art (or any craft in that matter) with running a marathon. Anyone that's not severely handicapped could run a marathon, but it takes a lot of dedication

I spent ages getting the linework just right, I was so careful, and when I peeled the page from the static cling of the bulbous, cathode ray tube screen, the character looked exactly right on the page.
