This is a papercraft model of Jafar's black lamp, based on a 3D model from the Kingdom Hearts I video game. Jafar is a sorcerer who uses his final wish from a genie to become a genie himself. Too late, Jafar realizes that as a genie he will be trapped in a lamp. This is the black lamp of his imprisonment. A template is available here -->[link]
This is a 1:2 scale papercraft of a Starfleet "Personal Access Display Device" (or "PADD" for short) as it appears in the Star Trek Voyager Elite Force video game. A template download is available here --> [link]
This one is an old model that I had a play around with almost a year ago, now. But I never finished it because I always had problems with the jar and the visibility of the clear plastic tabs.
There were many discussions re: "the problem of tabs on clear media" on Nintendo Papercraft forum, but nothing that I found satisfactory.
I used overhead projector plastic film, which I found inherently difficult to glue together because it was made of Polypropylene (PP). It was only after purchasing 20 sheets in a pack that I discovered PP doesn't like with superglue - it's possibly the only material in the world that repels Cyanoacrylate !
So I finally got off my proctastinating bottom and finshed this model "old school" style - an idea here, a tweek there, a snip here, and a try-again there. What you are seeing is the 2nd fairy (the first got smoshed by my 3y/o) and the 3rd jar (not the failed prototypes) that I have built from the model/ emplate we released December last year.
It's not perfect, or like we envisioned, but it'll do for now. Or until they make a glue for PP plastic. I could always try glass and silicone ... phft, that's foolish talk!
If you want to have a go at it, you can find the template here [link] , half way down the page.
Yay! Chartodileon finally designed his first REAL papercraft! It's Whomp, from the Super Mario series! I got this idea when I was playing mario party 8 and saw a Whomp. I thought it would be a pretty easy papercraft to design without using a 3-D modelling program, because those things are REALLY confusing.. O.o
Anyway, I made the textures and everything with GIMP. The templates might not be perfect, so you might have to do some editing or trimming, but I think it's a pretty good papercraft, since it's my first. The lines are pretty thick.. try to cut through the very center of it.
Oh, and BTW, the arms aren't really that color, my printer was being dumb... Please, try it!! It'd make me really happy to see other people make this.
It's a little bit late (well.. like two months late) but I finally got around to finishing this guy! He's my favorite character from Animal Crossing: City Folk and papercraft-ified him for me because she's awesome :'D Thank you!
I really love this papercraft. It really has a mystic feeling towards it. The old crooked pole really ads a nice touch to this bell. And of course it also returns memories of the longest sidequest in Majora's Mask: Kafei and his Fiance Anju.
This is the mask of Majora's, from the wonderful Nintendo 64 game "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's mask."
While the original design is small, i found by chance a long time ago in this version as big as you will use it. Maybe it has some design flaws due to "enlarge", but in general I this is super.
The great templates to make it (along with dozens more models of both zelda as other things) can be found at the site of great Ninjatoes in [link]
The life size template can be downloaded here [link]
A model ultra easy. Templates believe they were real size, but I wanted to do more to be small size as my paper SNES [link] , the paper Wii [link] and the paper Nes [link] (and I hope that not too long in my paper that the N64 I'm working).
Tis was bigger than expected, so I'll have to make q much smaller yet again.
The template (not myself) can download them at this site [link] (in japanese, but only click in the yellow link)
After Four Swords Link [link] I've built Wind Waker Link too! This is more difficult to build compared to the other one, but I really like the model! Guess I'll change the photo with a better one in the future...
If you want to build it too, download the template here [link]
I've taken a little pause from PokePapercraft, and gave a try at this Monster Hunter cat. I've never played MH so far, so I'm not a fan of the series and therefore I know no backstory of this character... But it's a cat, it has a huge weapon, and has green armour with PAWPRINTS! I had to build it, of course! The only infos I've found on this cat with my poor Googlefu skills is that it's called Airou (probably it's the species name, but not sure)... So if you do know more, tell me!
The papercraft model is by Pongoo, and I found it on a certain imageboard. It can be downloaded here: [link] Stand by the awesome Brandon! Thank you!!!
EDIT: The link to the original PONGOO model is now broken... So, for the ones that asked me to upload it, I can give you the pdo, but with my unfolding, and not the original one by PONGOO. I reunfolded the model to suit better my building method, but forgot to save the original one too... I'm lame, I know... O.O; Btw, here it is: [link]
EDIT2: Found another link with the original PONGOO unfolding: [link]
The first papercraft I designed. It took some work, but I'd like to think I did a pretty good job. Thanks to Darknut of the nintendopapercraft.com forums for the original model. Download template here: [link]
