I think this may be a first for me. I'm posting this the same day that I finished building it. Normally after I finish building it's usually a week, if not longer before I get around to taking any pictures.
Anyway, the most tricky part on Salamence is its head and especially the extensions on the sides. Once you get past the head there's nothing else to cause much trouble.
With the completion of Salamence the Bagon evolution line is now finished! Bagon:[link] Shelgon:[link]
There's nothing too difficult about building it. It just has a few small parts, like the claws, that just you just need to be careful on. It might be a good idea to place a small weight inside between its legs or on its belly because the "feathers" on its back make it a little unbalanced.
Thanks to Brandon for editing/designing this and letting me build it.
Bad light is bad! D: I think I'll retake the pics once this friggin bad weather will subside, and some natural light will help me out. Anyway... Version no.2 of Charmander!!! A jumping, merry pose! Loved it at 1st sight. Brandon model, with just a bit of texture tweaking from me. And since I didn't do anything else for the main model, I decided to make a stand myself (can't just sit on my bum and just build! I need to be active!!!). Because yes, of course it won't stand on its own. As usual, you'll find Charmander V2 on our Paperpokés website [link] as soon as it gets a free spot!
3D Editing and template by Brandon, aka ~z8-0. Build by me. Pokebase: model and textures by me
Funny story: I woke up today, half asleep after the New Year party etc, and I thought "uhm, I remember that buizel is schedued for January, let's check exactly for when..." And then I saw the date and went "Holy Cow!!! Must make the download packs! NAOW!!!". So yeah, you'll find him on our Paperpokés website [link] really, REALLY soon!
Quick, let's catch it! :3 Ok, I know I should've taken official pics of leafeon... And that I should be preparing the download packs for the aforementioned poké... BUT! Since they announced the new gen. 5 Pokeymanz, it was love at 1st sight with the fluffy Chiramii! So I dusted off Metasequoia, and began to design the little one!!! I bet this came unexpected, right? A gen 5 Poké!!! But rest assured, this isn't the only gen. 5 Poké coming our way!!! The other PP members are working hard on some of them! Can't say more, or they'll kill me! Chiramii will be published on our website [link] , as soon as our schedule allows it, of course!
[Designed, textured & built by me. Thanks Brandon, for helping me with the tuft-making!]
EDIT: Wow, I've been featured here: [link] !!! Many, many thanks to `MyntKat for the feature! :3 The other poke-related features are all nice, give 'em a look!
It is a fun build, not too hard, though the small parts are a little frustrating. Just take your time to build the fingers and the spikes and glue the bottom with caution, then you'll end up with an awesome model ^^!!
Probably out in Paperpokés [link] in Halloween (that eye staring at you can be scary...) ^^!
Sceptile's been ready for a long time, but I couldn't decide which background to upload it... Lavender took out all of its badassness, so let's try with light blue ^^ Edit: I would add hydrangeas on the back, but Sceptile absolutely loathes hydrangeas...
This awesome model was edited by , it's very fun to build and not too hard - not for beginners, but still average difficulty. One of my favorite Pokémon, specially since it's a grass starter - they rule!!!
The twig on it's mouth is a real one - I strongly advise adding one to your model. It looks utterly cool!
Time to get back to work, cause I have to finish building another green model, and print and build another one after XD!
Finally it's ready! This one was hard for me, and I didn't think it would stand on its own, but it does. If you resist smashing those claws while you're building them, this awesome papercraft will be ready! I really liked building it in the end.
Thanks to Brandon for editing Scizor in this very cool badass pose. This will be available in Paperpokes [link] probably later this year.
Surprise everyone... I finally built something! hehe
Yup it's a Pokémon and if you don't know this one, it's probably because it's not even out yet. Its name is Tsutarja and it's one of the 3 new starters for the 5th Generation games coming this september.
3D model is made by me with the texture made by Lyrin. ( )
It can't really stand so I had to make a small base for it. There's some changes that I need to do too before posting the template so it will be posted in a little while on Paperpokés!
also, gotta remember to not take a picture of a green Pokémon on a green background >_<
Yeah, not really my favorite Pokémon but he has been waiting for a testbuild for a long time so, here he finally is...
Also, my printer decided to hate me, printing only 1 page out of 2 correctly, so after printing it 3 times, I just decided to take the best pieces and build it like that, so sorry for the lines. The grey parts will also be darker when we'll post it in the website
I love these little guys! They remind me of nudibranchs - too cute! And although they are the most adorable things I've seen this week, they were quite fiddly to build because of those little yellow strips.
Not saying that it was an unpleasant thing, but I think that some of our readers may have a little trouble building them, depending on their own skill level. However, there is really no way to avoid these little strips without compromising their aesthetic beauty and appearance too drastically.
The pink one's head-gear was a very small pain in the bottom to figure out, and the blue one's fins are also reasonably tricky. But, the end result is just lovely!
Many thanks go to PMF for these beauties, and how I do adore them. I haven't looked at the schedule yet, so I'm not sure when they'll be available on our website [link] , but they will be as soon as possible.
This is a Pokemon model by Pixel-Kakashi that he graciously allowed me to unfold and build. It is GORGEOUS! Reasonably easy to make - the only problem I encountered was the giant leaf's stem attached to it's forehead collapsing on itself.
The second leaf I constructed I used "scaffolding" with off-cuts of card - as it was attached to the head before the body was constructed, and needed just a little support with the movement of the model in construction ... did that make sense?
Anyway, I honestly have very little knowledge of Pokemon characters post Generation I, but this one is so adorable! And totally worth building, so go to and make your own little Chikorita!
So, it's Christmas time, and we thought that Pokémon related Xmas tree decorations would be a great idea, but what, exactly?
Well, clever little ~Jyxxie (aka: POdragon) came up with this idea: with the inclusion of a cone in the template, all you need to do is glue it onto the back of the Pokémon and "voila!", you have a Christmas tree star!
Staryou and Starmie are really quick and easy models to make in a very short period of time. Just make sure you have some superglue on hand to attach the separate components together.
Ha! Posted yesterday over at Paperpokes! Since posting the arcanine to my gallery a while back, I took his model and revamped him--now his face isn't ugly, his body is much better and he's just overall full of win now. He was fun to build; his spikes were fun, his tail was fun, his legs were a little tough to figure out. I suggest you refer to the PDO while building him.
Not many, even the world of Pokémon has Ledyba, this little guy with big eyes. Well, actually, not so little cause it's supposedly 3'03", so it's actually bigger than Squirtle and just as big as Wartortle. O.o
Ledyba, the papercraft though will come in at 12 cm. Watch out for it at the usual place, Paperpokés [link]
