Dreadnought Astrey (Верфь 1)

Корабль сконструирован для ведения боя, начиная с самых дальних дистанций. На вооружении четыре тяжелых дальнобойных орудия, позволяющих ему вести бой на максимальных дистанциях. Однако, как и на всех дредноутах, чем ближе корабль от цели - тем мощнее наносимый ей урон. По бронированию немного уступает Jaggernaught. Более слабые двигатели.

Вооружение:
4 Heavy Blaster Cannon (Dreadnought Class) - самые тяжелые бластерные орудия. Максимальная дальнобойность, большое рассеивание заряда с расстоянием, среднее повреждение щитам, большое повреждение корпусу, средняя бронебойность, большой радиус поражения при попадании. Массивные повреждения устройствам.

Concept of sci-fi rifle "Kodo". Primary object was to design sci-fi gun with smooth/dynamic look without disturbing point and from exotic casted material. Model is highpoly. All work is made by my self. For better view I suggest open picture in its original size. I did it really large. programs: 3ds max +bit of Photoshop. Render engine: vray. Wait for your comments if any.

Mod Rifle, something that can easily be modded. I imagin most of it can be taken apart and interchanged with modular parts for easy variety. Granted this is mostly just for me to practice drawing weapons, i still put some thought into it. CS3 + Wacom

Here's a concept for a modified bullpup auto sniper rifle. Though thats a mouthful, it explains the different style design. I imagine that most of the gun is housed in a plastic case with a polished metal skin. Purely for aesthetics.

UPDATE: Due to popular criticism, I'm going to go ahead and say, despite what the gun says on its shell, it is a prototype that uses .223, and is the base prototype that could you can exchange the barrel/firing mechanisms be able to switch the type of ammo. Any further question of the Sci Fi /cool design excuse can be referred to Judge Dredd's weapon. It has all kinds of ammo types. I should really just rename the gun "the Controversy". I really do appreciate all the feedback though! Thanks!

Dual functioning long and short ammo weapon. Designed for one weapon to carry both ammo types for long and short range combat. Also using only 1 barrel they can both feed into. Using a magical mechanism for the forward rounds that seals the barrel up when not in use. It's sci fi, deal with it.

Had these first 4 variants sitting around all week, but I got hit by strep throat before I could post em or do any more.

Battle Rifle - The most used setup, though many operators will make alterations to this base. Accurate and heavy hitting.

Integrated Sniper - This rifles scope employs many imaging modes to aid the shooter, providing an always able platform to land rounds on target.

Special Operations - A smaller, more silenceable round is often used. The enclosed carrier assembly can be baffled to further reduce noise. Additional equipment is attached as needed.

Sidearm - A very specific use weapon. This cut down variant is used by anti-armor snipers looking for a backup weapon that can still bring the hurt to infantry threats.

This piece has been a huge time eater for what it is, but the result is just what I need. Further evolution of the rifle many of my Rangers carry to battle.

The rifle is in bullpup layout. Parts are modular and interchangeable, allowing for varying calibers and barrel lengths while cutting supply costs and logistics.
Full ambidextrous controls and forward case ejection are standard features.
This particular setup has a 14.5in barrel and a caliber comparably sized to but more advanced than 338 lapua.

Would many of you appreciate a variants set of this?

The close quarters combat variant of my high caliber rifle (somewhat still WIP).
A much shorter barrel and muzzle brake make this variant very compact, useful in very tight quarters and for infantry deploying out of vehicles.
The user needs to be careful where he/she puts fore hand to avoid being burned by exhaust gas, use of a fore grip is recommended to aid this.

On a side note, I'm getting a little less lazy with renders, now i composite 2 of my "easy render" methods :D

An original weapon design, AH-ERW/9000s.

I made a few changes from the original rotation drawing. The mag has been shortened and a thin recoil suppressor has been added. A few changes were made to the scope and muzzle. The colors were inspired by the space shuttle, since this gun was meant for 0G operations.

Here is the next batch of guns I'm doing for my senior project, also for a small game design company in Poland.

Top: Olympus Armaments PL-AR 2550- A military grade plasma rifle with illegal power output upgrades. Features a glass window above the trigger where the power level remaining can actually be physically viewed. If the plasma is bright, there is a lot of charge remaining, if it gets dim, it's time to replace the battery. The hoses at the front are for cooling the barrel, which can get extremely hot.

Middle: Taurus Stackmaster Pro with thermal scope, laser guide, and silencer. This weapon uses a clip of ammunition with a deceivingly high ammo cap. each "bullet" is actually six projectiles stacked on top of each other separated by an electronically detonated firing charge. This gives the gun a blistering 1,000,000 rpm firing rate on full auto mode. The option most soldier prefer is the setting which fires one stack in a six shot burst. (Still feels like one shot!) There are also no spent casings to speak of.

Bottom: Veritas ZLR-9 Directed Energy Weapon. A lethal weapon for living and mechanized targets alike. The amount of power generated by the TT5 micro-fusion cell is simply staggering for a handheld rifle. The linear electron charge fries Robotic targets electronic components, and electrocutes human targets with disturbing ease. This gun has been banned on some of the moons of Jupiter.

Commission for Chop Studio.

My first original gun in quite a while! Feels good to design them again.
This weapon is an assault rifle meant to fit in with a near-future american setting. If you want to know more, you'll have to play the game when it's out. :p
I do a lot of research before I design a gun, and this one is no exception. I not only have many books about them in my studio, I also have a few actual rifles and pistols to use for reference. Photos are good, but having a physical analogue is much better.
This design employs some conventional and some modern/futuristic tech. The internal components are made from a light-weight, vibration and heat resistant metal alloy. The outer body is made from condensed high-durability plastics. Most of the gun's attachments are fully modular and customizable. This load out features a retractable stock, a translucent 30-round ammo clip. (remember the bullets in a clip go up and around so there are actually two layers of rounds in a clip). The trigger for the co2 powered grenade launcher was an idea I came up with. Instead of the soldier having to move his whole hand, with this layout, he/she only has to rotate the firing finger down slightly and pull up. The top rail system can mount a variety of sights and scopes, currently it is fitted with a rear peep sight and a front optical sight. The lens is a special glare resistant glass with a thin liquid crystal overlay that can be set to a few helpful settings, such as a range finder. Barrel can be fitted with a suppressor, and the grenade launcher can be swapped for a fore-grip or a 12ga. shot gun.
