After looking through my DVDs I found the original image on the back of Season 10. But I thought to myself that it would be nice if there was a bigger version, and knowing me, here we are. This pic took longer than usual, but on top of that, Marge, Lisa and Maggie's hair can be tricky to do digitally, especially compared to how long it takes a sketch. Maybe that's why I don't draw them so much. Added a little texture in for that old movie poster feel but still wanted it to have some shine to it. Well, enjoy.
Personally, I think dancing is one of the best things to show how dynamic the characters can be. And I am trying to vary the poses I use from drawing to drawing. Of course, Marge and Homer would be the best choice for a Simpsons picture. Having just looked through my gallery again, I noticed I tend to draw them a lot more than most other characters. A bit odd 'cause it doesn't really seem that way.
To get in the christmas spirit i drew this. Well its not really that christmassey as such,
but it has snow in it, so surely that counts doesnt it? well i think so...
Anyway enough rambling from me.
merry christmas to you all.
And enjoy the picture!
Concept seem familiar? It should, I "borrowed" it from the Phineas and Ferb movie.
Here we see Lisa and Maggie visiting their 2nd Dimension counterparts. Possibly singing. The 2nd Dimension being ruled over with an iron fist probably by an even more villainous version of Mr. Burns.
You'll notice that I added some extra features to Maggie-1, Lisa-2 and Maggie-2.
For Maggie-1 I added her teenage scar for no reason from Simpsons Fantasy VI and Simpsons Fantasy VIII.
For Lisa-2 and Maggie-2, I made them both paler, since they've never been outside much, and they're both wearing the same outfit to a certain degree, as well as being tagged, with those armbands under their sleeves.
