Heart pounding, Flightsong whisked past the hallow tree, almost tripping over a protruding root that stuck up out of the undergrowth. She grunted as her paws lost footing and she was sent flying towards the hard earth. The golden she-cat plummeted to the ground, moaning as her chin throbbed with pain. Flightsong wearily stood up, shaking off the dust from her fluffy pelt.
"Everything okay, Flightsong?" A chuckling voice sounded from behind.
Flightsong whipped around to face the cat, anger glowing in her amber eyes
