Hitmonchan wasn't super easy but not hard either. As you can guess from the base it has a hard time standing on its own. This has little, if anything, to do with the size or pose but rather the design of the Pokemon itself. With such small feet relative to its height, it would have difficulty standing in just about any pose.
While I am on Uni holidays, I think I should probably make as many Paperpokés models as I can squeeze in, so here is the latest one.
To be honest with you guys, I really only played Pokémon Red/Blue (and then half of Silver/Gold), so I really am only familiar with the first generation and some of the second gen. This fifth gen just freaks me out - there is an ICE CREAM CONE pokémon!!!
Anyway, with my rant out of the way, I've been after Abra for ages - I think it's just so adorable, snoozing away. I am very grateful to POdragon [link] for whipping this up for me - I'm very spoiled Oh, and by the way, this is the shiny Abra texture that I built, the normal was so drab in comparison.
The only issue I can see others having when building this model are the fingers - they are a little fiddly - but that really is a minor detail, otherwise, it's a medium difficulty level build. I have no idea when this will be scheduled, but it'll probably be into the new year.
2011! That's the future! Where's my flying car already?
Wow, it seems like ages since I made a Paperpokés model. This is one that I've wanted to do for a while, this one, and the other pink ones - Clefairy and Wigglytuff. I know! I hate pink, but these particular Pokémon are just too cute. I have to confess that I have a soft spot for all the round girly ones!
And how adorable is this one? It's standing soundly on one foot!!! Well, with the help of two 5 cent coins, anyways (yes, one was not enough, lol).
Again, the curl was tortuous - they all are - so I would recommend that definitely build this in front of the PDO. I am terribly sorry for any Mac users, as there really is no way to explain how to put the curl together without the visual aid of the Pepakura file.
I honestly have no idea when this will be scheduled on Paperpokés [link] , but I think this one is going on the top of my Christmas tree!
Many thanks go to for whipping this out (at breakneck speed) at my request - such a good friend for being so patient with me and indulging my whims.
Bulbasaur's so happy it's springtime!!! So he decided to take a stroll in my garden. Fair enough! This is Bulbasaur papercraft V2, a new version of one of our oldest models! Now, if only we could have a remastered squirtle... (hint hint! Bran, please? )
As usual, you'll find Bulvasaur V2 on our Paperpokés website [link] as soon as it gets a free spot!
3D Editing by Brandon, aka ~z8-0. Template and build by me.
Both nature pictures (what is better than a laptop and porygon Z come out) and official picture join into ones because you are special
Hope you like this
It is designed by and built by me (do I need to type everytime I build it, not next time)
And last thing it will be released as soon as it can on [link]
Last last thing, I will rest at least for 1 weeks or more (hope not) due to my arm again, still hurt after accident and fall down the stair again - type with one finger, very funny, try it ~ HAHAHAHAHAHA
These were the Halloween special models of Paperpokes.
The are perfect ain't they? Thanks to
When I first saw them, still on the pdo, I felt in love, it's really cool and great to have these models built XD In special The regular one, IT'S PERFECT! The six legs were really hard to build, placing the gold parts were a pain, but I must say, IT'S WORTH I haven't even noticed all the legs when I first saw the pdo, just found out that there were six legs when told me XD
The origin form chibi proofs that not all the chibis are easy to build, in fact, this one is really hard. The gold parts and the spikes were REALLY hard to build, but if it were more simple would look a lot weird.
The Altered form would be easy if it wasn't for the neck gold parts, in special the middle ones.
All of them are perfect and stay perfect together
They can be downloaded at Paperpokes: Regular Giratina: [link] Chibi Origin Form Giratina: [link] Chibi Altered Form Giratina: [link]
Have fun building them They are hard but it's really worth having them XD
It is a fun build, not too hard, though the small parts are a little frustrating. Just take your time to build the fingers and the spikes and glue the bottom with caution, then you'll end up with an awesome model ^^!!
Probably out in Paperpokés [link] in Halloween (that eye staring at you can be scary...) ^^!
What can I say? Amazing how can edit papercraft ^^!
Scyther is a very different and cool pokémon. I really like this build and the pose is just... well, it speaks for itself. And what's even better? You can glue the arms anyway you like. Not an easy build though - small and pointy ends can be a bit annoying. But if this is one of your favorite pokémon, go for it - though I don't know when it will be up on [link]
It will also need some weight on its left foot for balance. A bit tricky, but since each leg part is separate, anything gone wrong can be fixed by redoing only one foot.
I wondered where I should take a picture of Drowzee. He looked sleepy so I thought on the bed like Slakoth but meh. So I kinda thought it could be funny to have him walking in the appartment like he just woke up. And yeah, the picture don't really work in the end :\ so anyway....
model by Brandon (i think, too many to keep track of) build by me
I turtles. And Turtle Pokémon are no exception. So, when Brandon made this model, it jumped up to the top of my WIP pile.
I'm really happy how this one turned specially because I forgot to turn on the overflow paint in Pepakura and I got a bit petrified since I've gotten used to using it since the Pokédolls.
Medium difficulty build. Big, fluffy tail means you need weights to make it stand up. Even though the tail almost touches the ground, it doesn't quite, it's raised maybe 2 mm above. I added a penny inside the bottom of it's front shell.
