Chain Chomp FTW! I really had fun making this papercraft! My black ink ran out then I printed this, but luckily I had a black marker with me. xP I also colored the chains grey on both sides and made the little round thing that connects the Chomp to the Chain. lol I don't know why, I guess I like my papercrafts to be somewhat accurate.
Thought I'd upload a papercraft this time. Here's the SSBB Bowser that was designed by . I'm really proud of this one! I think it's my best build yet This is also one of the crafts that were displayed at my school's art show. Probably got the most attention too.
So there you have it, thank you Brandon for designing this awesome model! The build went incredibly smooth too. I actually made the teeth!
Is it good? I thought that the orange background might suit it well. What do you think about my build? Except the glue. Took quite a long time too, i worked on it around 30 hours. i finished it today 1:05 AM. I stayed up all night to figure out how to make it stand, so i glued a battery in each foot. The build is half a meter tall, and the hand is surprisingly easy.
Although it has a lot of parts, it's a good build (I might be a little biased of course ;o)
The balance is a lot better than you'd expect though, and I really like the size. Not too big and not too small, and the only really small parts are the fangs, while the rest is just the right size to handle (for me at least ;o)
You may have noticed, that I am revamping my main website. I took new (hopefully better ;o) pictures of all my models, and I thought while I was at it, I could make a better one of king's head that might help people, because it is a difficult part to build.
I know I swore off working with glossy photo paper. It's too stiff and hard to glue and the tiniest glue left on you fingers gets stuck on it.
BUT, Pixel Kakashi designed this awesome hat and it's Mario's and it's wearable. And I had to do it, hello, glossy paper, and I remembered all the reasons I swore it off and it took twice as long to make it. But then, I discovered that I can wipe off the glue spots with a damp paper towel and it doesn't hurt the paper! In the end, It was really worth it.
The Mario figure is not papercraft, but wouldn't it be awesome if someone can design a papercraft version of him?
You can grab Pixel Kakashi's Mario Hat from nintendopapercraft.com: [link]
The best thing about these pots is the sound that Link makes when he breaks them, "Keeeeeeeyyyaaaahhh!"
Sometimes when I make something I can't stop, so when I made one of these pots a while ago [link] I had to find out if there were anymore. Brandon was kind enough to edit some for me. And this is the result, the new Twilight Princess Pot Collection. It comes in four shapes, all with sealed vessels so you can put your own items in it.
I know, this one isn't much different from my Goomba sculpture, but I still think this guy deserves his own collage. Paragoombas are basically just Goombas with wings but I didn't simply put wings on my Goomba sculpture, this one is a separate sculpture, as shown in the photo in the middle. But it seems they loose their wings pretty easily. Hope you like it!
I do not own Paragoomba, Goomba and the green Mario Luigi.
Red dots on white cap, it's everyone's favourite Toad: Toad! Pretty confusing that the character is named after his species, pretty much like with Yoshi. I mean you wouldn't name your child "Human" or your dog "Dog", right? ....anyway, hope you like it!
I do not own Toad. But I wouldn't know what to do with him anyway...
