Campara was adjusting her eye shades (that a certain someone with a metal tongue gave her) in the plaza of the carnival when she heard a familiar, anxious voice call out a few feet behind her. She made a deep sigh of both annoyance and wonder when she turned around to see Tin squeeze and slip through masses of freaks, great anxiety plastered all over his face. He slid on the cobblestone ground to where the mistress stood and he put his hand on her shoulder to support himself while he panted harshly out of exhaustion. "W-w-wait for me, will you please!?" She put on an irritated frown and crossed her arms when he crouched down to put his hands on his knees, still breathing strongly. For about forty minutes he has been chasing and falling behind her as she went off to check new things like an excited tourist. "G-goodness gracious, don't be so quick to lose me!"

Chapter 5: The City of Freaks and the Ax-Handed Boy
There are one or two troubles with dreams, ladies and gentlemen: dreams are beautiful but could become the downfall of some. Dreams tell the dreamer of fantasies that can corrupt ones imagination what with the absurdities that can swim through them yet at the same time could cure insanity. They told what was real, what was unreal, what was safe, what was dangerous warnings. The possibility of being blinded by the fantasy of a dream is grand but there is a humongous percentage doubting that as well; a win-lose subject, I should say. But, as some times happen, the logic of many could become blindfolded by their denial that what they stumbled across was just totally impossible.
Let us take a haunted dimension as our example.

She tripped over fallen branches and her heart hammered during her run away; the world was freezing cold and the only source of lighting were but the moon gems stuck within the curly, thick trees dull, lifeless, barely helping the poor sick one out during such a dilemma. She felt something in her head pounding with her hand remained clutched around her dead flashlight, her memories of that nightmare haunting her in the frightening darkness. Tears fell down her face whilst she hopped over roots and tripped through black bushes of frost and leaves, fear overpowering her senses with bitterness. Many of them emitted sounds of whining and one of the performers under the name Juliza Star said, Aw, cut us some slack, boss! We went on about fifteen times in thirty minutes!

All ten performers groaned and slinked out the curtains. The bitter ringmaster screamed at them through his gritted sharp sewn teeth, HAPPY! As in SMILING, you buncha saps! SMILING! SMI-LING!!

He was not the only one to have jumped up for little by little, the occupants of the theater quieted in the main lobby. The sun has never ever risen in Decembersville; at least it had until the von Pyre Bros. took over. Now the mornings were bleak and white and misty and perhaps the only thing the sky offered to the residents were night and rain. But even so, the von Pyre siblings still stood out in the morning each with a silver parasol providing them darkness. They feared the light more than anything much like the other Night Stalker citizens.
The cobblestone square was packed and each one of them looked up at the high balcony overlooking the area. Chimabell and his older siblings were up there looking down on them all. The mayor was smiling thinly in the shaded balcony. Campara passed him a long, twisted, striped megaphone with a mouth at the end of the funnel-shaped mechanism. He smacked the thing twice and tried to speak through it.

A low rhythmic ticking made a soft white noise in the background as Sarah rolled over in a half-sleep. The soft mattress made a 'flumph' sound as her body plopped back down and the ropes holding the mattress made a soft creaking sound. She frowned; something wasn't right. Her dorm bed didn't make a flumph and creak sound usually it made a thump and squeak sound. She furrowed her brow. It was obvious she wasn't in her own bed, but if she wasn't in her bed, whose was she in?
Grumbling slightly, she opened her eyes and squinted about from her position on her right side. She lay on what felt like a feather mattress and feather pillow. Her surroundings looked to be made primarily of a light colored wood, perhaps pine, and they all looked rustic, like they belonged to a cabin in the mountains. The simple bedroom she was in held only a bedside table, a chest of drawers, and the bed she laid in. A snuffed candle sat on the nightstand, but the room w

The muscles forming his bare sinewy chest shifted under his skin in the sunlight streaming in the large open eastward facing window. Moving leisurely, he made his way to the bathing room where he washed up and brushed his teeth before going back out to stand in front of his closet. He placed a hand under his chin in thought, staring at the different options before him. After a couple of minutes, he smiled and waved a hand, magically dressing himself in the outfit he'd chosen, khaki leggings, a white poet's shirt, an ice blue vest with gold trim, and brown leather boots that went well with the long golden cloak draped about his shoulders.
With a flourish, he disappeared from his bedchamber and reappeared in his office where he left a note for his scribe saying that he would be taking the day to visit the Sylvan King. There was nothing important planned for the day a

You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in fields of gold.
The deep tenor of his voice resonated through the room. His hands moved with confidence up and down the fingerboard while he swayed from side to side. It was art in motion.

It's said that bad things happen in threes. What wasn't said was that the bad things were usually caused by goblins. Sarah Williams had a healthy respect for supernatural beings, particularly goblins and their king, however the antics of the aforementioned goblins were beginning to annoy her. So far, the past two days had been plagued with bad things happening in threes. The first day it had started out with her alarm clock being unplugged resulting in her being late to work. At work that day someone tripped and spilt coffee on her white slacks, and the day had ended with her car dying on her. Day two hadn't been any better; in fact the incidents had gotten worse. The mechanic who she'd hired to fix her car had called to inform her the cost to repair it would be more than the car was worth; her cell phone mysteriously disappearing followed this. Sarah had woun

Each held a long twenty-foot strand of ribbon in their hands, prepared to start the dance at the call of the Master of Ceremonies. Sarah herself, stood in the inner circle, dressed in one of her mother's old costumes and a flower circlet in her dark hair let loose to blow in the slight breeze.
She smiled widely and her hands gripped the green ribbon in her hands tighter. The other nineteen dancers swayed, ready for the dance to begin. The Master of Ceremonies, a tall man dressed in traditional Irish garb, walked to the center near the maypole. He held up his hands and the crowd fell silent. She'd been confined to a cubical, expected to work eight hour days that were never long enough to get all of her work done, so she'd ended up staying extra hours or coming in early and of course she'd been salaried so she didn't get paid for those extra hours. Her boss had approached her earlier that day around lunchtime. Jareth awoke on the sofa, exactly where Sarah had fallen asleep on him, although she appeared to be missing. He found a little book on the table with a pen and a note. It read ' Dear Jareth, I've gone shopping for a little bit as I'm running low on coffee and mugs (because of you) And I'll be back around 3pm, if you have any problems, call me, my number is in the book under 'my mobile' See you later, and don't wreck anything!' The last bit made Jareth laugh a little. He sat for a while, twisting his crystals between his fingers, but he soon became bored and summoned a goblin to make him a coffee, because he was afraid of the kettle, well, he was afraid of scalding himself. He started to pace around the apartment, nosing through things until he found something that was of his interest. He had found many plushies of creatures from his labyrinth, some he recognised, others he couldn't. He noticed one in particular of Hoggle, Sarah's weather-beaten friend that

She said looking at him and holding her dress up, trying to zip up the back. 'You don't want to have my child?' Jareth said looking at her, very hurt. 'That's not what I meant. For a stranger friend before it's night?"
A shake says no as you walk.

In these dark woods for many a day."

To point this out seems my duty."

One from someone whom seems so fair,"

And I would sit upon a throne."

Just one small kiss upon the head?"

For it to get cold would be a waste."

With my hunger it seems I'm stuck."

And we'll stay together through thick or thin
For your happiness I'll strive and pray
And on our wedding we'll have our own spin
My heart is yours to hold and keep
I'll hold you up above the clouds

The tears fall like rain upon the crowds

Spreading about your purest love
I'll find you soon and then I will
Have revenge till you lay still
Never again shall you bring
A false love to make my heart sing
A song of false hope and desire
I'll watch as I engulf your body in fire
Your wings I shall pluck off of your sides
And cast them out to the coming tides
Your arrows I will shove straight down your throat
While doing all this I shall gloat
Of how I have killed the angel of love
And sent him to hell with a powerful shove
Your wretched desire to spread false hope
While giving no chance for many to cope
With the breaking of will and all of their dreams
Never again shall you see the suns beams
For your crimes against man and woman alike
I'll place your head upon the dullest spike
Let your entrails be torn out by dogs
And watch as your body is cast into bogs
Across the globe where none shall find
Each peice of you that was left behind.
The Kimono RoomThe spot of light on the tatami mat in front of her dipped and wavered, flitting here and there like a will-o-the-wisp. Dust clouded around her bare feet as she moved across the floor, settling in every nook and cranny it could until her feet had powdery grey socks. The floorboard beneath the mat creaked slightly, and the spotlight swung wildly for a moment before resting on the door ahead of her. Because I am determined. I am certain. And I am going to succeed despite and to spite you. Not only do I desire to become great for my own benefit, but the more you try to discourage me the harder I will work to prove you ultimately wrong.
Your jealousy is petty, your envy unfounded. You have it in you as much as I to find your path and run along it. Spend less time trying to tell me why Ill fail, and more time working on your own ambitions. Spend less time trying to reduce me to your level of unhappiness, and spend more time trying to raise yourself up to join me in joy. You can do it.
