Gainax. What can I say about this particular studio? Well, bottom line: it varies. Their shows can be very interesting and addicting; their shows can show off as extremely weird. They were even responsible for the bouncing breasts that can be seen in anime along with confusing endings that make no sense with the rest of the show. As of late, Gainax has been trying, key word being "trying," to mend their use of these particular endings, although there's really no way of telling if they cleaned up their act. But what put them on the map? What anime was responsible for Gainax becoming famous for their robots?

First off, I'd like to apologize about how this isn't the Re: Cutie Honey review like I promised back from Dororon Enma-kun Meeramera. Second off, I'd actually like to say something that I told a friend of mine but I haven't told the rest of you.
My favorite genre of anime is mecha.
You see, mecha (short for "mechanical" of course) anime started off with Tetsujin 28-go (Iron Man #28, no relation to Tony Stark), or Gigantor to us in the US, back in 1963. The original version had this summary:
