Is it good? I thought that the orange background might suit it well. What do you think about my build? Except the glue. Took quite a long time too, i worked on it around 30 hours. i finished it today 1:05 AM. I stayed up all night to figure out how to make it stand, so i glued a battery in each foot. The build is half a meter tall, and the hand is surprisingly easy.
I don't know why I didn't upload this earlier ... oh yeah, because I was procrastinating! I made this earlier in the year (April, I think) and since I uploaded the photo of the pot, I figured you can't have one without the other!
You'd find them all over the floors of the dungeons in the game The Legend Of Zelda - Wind Waker. I would spend WAY too much time searching for these skulls, just so I could lob them at the wall! Haha! *sigh* great fun!
So this was one of my last briefs of my course. It was called a "fashion" brief, but that was a generic term for a retail pack, where we had to produce a catalogue, a point of sail display, swing tags, and a press ad for a relevant publication.
I was allowed to utilise my previous work with Paperpokés in this more or less open brief, which was cool and certainly would have saved me a tonne of time, in terms of the photography aspect, but of course, I had to do things the hard way, and I re-photographed the remaining pokes I had in the house and built a brand new model!
So, this retail pack has a the pre-printed template, a catalogue with recent/related models and and order form, model information, model building tips and hints, company information, and a certificate of authenticity. It would have also come with a USB thumb drive containing all the digital files attached to it if I had more time. Pity Nintendo would knee-cap us in a heartbeat if we ever did try to sell these, lol!
This is the fourth Gengar I have built, and how could anyone not love this one, especially with this awesome expression. And, yes, it has a completely open cavernous mouth, which is amazing!
Yaaaaay My papercraft collection! I kept it super big so you can see all of the them. There was so much I had to use a couple of my Gundam boxes to make space.
The bottom shelf has a bunch of stuff that's not papercraft, like the MG Gundams and the Nintendo things. Check it out, you'll see a bunch of interesting stuff. xD Giant Dialga Card, Nintendo Candy/Drink, NES Games and Zoids videos. .-.
I'm not showin' off! xD
Oh, and a bunch of those I haven't uploaded yet. I'm too lazy to. >.>
it's been a while puppies but i'm back. This time with a normal type pokemon edited and built by me Hope you guys like it. Happy New Year, let all your wishes come true and... you already know the rest xD
Quick, let's catch it! :3 Ok, I know I should've taken official pics of leafeon... And that I should be preparing the download packs for the aforementioned poké... BUT! Since they announced the new gen. 5 Pokeymanz, it was love at 1st sight with the fluffy Chiramii! So I dusted off Metasequoia, and began to design the little one!!! I bet this came unexpected, right? A gen 5 Poké!!! But rest assured, this isn't the only gen. 5 Poké coming our way!!! The other PP members are working hard on some of them! Can't say more, or they'll kill me! Chiramii will be published on our website [link] , as soon as our schedule allows it, of course!
[Designed, textured & built by me. Thanks Brandon, for helping me with the tuft-making!]
EDIT: Wow, I've been featured here: [link] !!! Many, many thanks to `MyntKat for the feature! :3 The other poke-related features are all nice, give 'em a look!
... or Pikmikebana, the art of arranging pikmins on a stump. Ok, bad joke, sorry! I won a "New Play Control Pikmin" for the Wii, so my friend Brandon decided to celebrate the thing by making pikmin papercrafts! He originally wanted to make only these two, but I convinced him to make also the red, blue, and yellow ones, so expect them too in the future!
Templates are now available here [link] on Nintendopapercraft!
3D editing by Brandon (aka ~z8-0 )/template by me/rip by Gazamaniac (if I'm not mistaken)
A build I'm quite proud of, as it also won me a contest!
The whole designing and building process took around two months; one month editing and unfolding, and the second building. Annoyingly enough, I had to restart his legs six times due to mistakes made by experimentation... I also had to put off some important homework until the last minute. It was totally worth it, though.
