You know, I was watching Heroes the other night and it suddenly occurred to me that if all the characters were Pokemon, then Peter Petrelli would be this guy!
I made the template from the 3D model that PMF suplied me with. This time, the Pokemon was virtually perfect to build, except for the eyes.
The eyes that you see here are not the original eyes from the template. Those ones were impossible to build, even if you had pixie fingers, you still would have no hope in hell of building them - they were stupidly tiny!
So I used my trusty hole-punch and cut out some eyes, from some black paper, for poor Ditto. They work just as well, if not better!
Pansage! Papercraft! Done, finally! Wohoo! I've changed some bits, to make the build more enjoyable, ad hopefully more stable as well... (I loved the pose, so I sacrificed stability for it... Sowwy!) You'll find the download here (as soon as I fix a couple of things, make the shiny textures, etc): www.pokemonpapercraft.net/
it's been a while puppies but i'm back. This time with a normal type pokemon edited and built by me Hope you guys like it. Happy New Year, let all your wishes come true and... you already know the rest xD
I am not sure exactly why I adore this Pokémon, but I really do. Maybe it's because a glare from its single scarlet eye makes even burly grown-ups freeze in utter fear. Or maybe because it is said to spirit away disobedient children. Whatever it is, I this Poke.
I've been asking for this one from the Paperpokés designers for quite a while. So guess who was a very happy test builder when PMF finally made one.
Will be released at Paperpokés [link] when the time is right.
This is Rattata, first seen on the first episode of the anime trying to steal food from Ash's bag.
The trickiest part to this craft is the mouth. It's hard getting back behind those huge teeth to form the bend in the mouth. I think if you're going to build this, it's better to build the lower portion, the cheeks and the chin and the mouth first before you add on the nose, eyes and ears. That way, you have more space to work on the mouth.
Chain Chomp FTW! I really had fun making this papercraft! My black ink ran out then I printed this, but luckily I had a black marker with me. xP I also colored the chains grey on both sides and made the little round thing that connects the Chomp to the Chain. lol I don't know why, I guess I like my papercrafts to be somewhat accurate.
Thought I'd upload a papercraft this time. Here's the SSBB Bowser that was designed by . I'm really proud of this one! I think it's my best build yet This is also one of the crafts that were displayed at my school's art show. Probably got the most attention too.
So there you have it, thank you Brandon for designing this awesome model! The build went incredibly smooth too. I actually made the teeth!
I am very happy with this template - it actually stands, without the aid of the right fin! To make sure it wouldn't fall, I added some weight inside his feet. Not an easy build - thin arms, fins, small teeth and spikes - but a very fun one.
He looks amazing, watching from the top of a shelf ^^
I wanted to update this a while ago. The photo is crowded, I took it in a hurry.
These are the Pkmn I have, in build order: - Turtwig, Espeon and Vaporeon: regular paper. Awful. - Gallade (1st one on thick paper - its head tilts ^^), Staryu, Lugia (I didn't know scrap paper then...), Mudkip, Chikorita, Torterra, Pichu, Roselia, Gardevoir: 140gsm paper - Scizor, Nidoking, Bayleef (waiting a little to do Paperpokés photo), Quilava, Reshiram, Raichu (a bet, and a bday present. Can't believe I built it in 1.5 day!!): 120gsm
Mankey is almost ready, but I forgot to include it ^^. A few more coming!
I love these guys, even if they were a little annoying at times. Especially coupled with the annoying-ness of trying to control spring Mario. -_-' Still think they're cute, though. Remember you need a lot of weights to stand this guy up.
He seems a bit suspicious when you think about it (especially after the rumours of a plasma TV in the Town Hall after I donated thousands of bells to the charity in Wild World... ¬¬), but I think there's something about him you can't help loving.
Tortimer is finally here after months in development! Grab the template at Nintendo Papercraft: [link]
3D model from his Super Smash Bros. Brawl trophy, editing, template and build by me.
EDIT - yeah, I changed the picture a bit. I hated it. ^^ Still not entirely sure... might take some new photos. :/
I thought I ought to flesh out some of the categories on my site other than Zelda... I feel bad doing pokemon papercrafts, though, since the paperpokes guys do such a great job... but there are so many beautiful pokemon out there crying to be papercraft...ed. Perhaps it wasn't such a great choice though, as it's all tails. The ratio of body:tails is 4 pages:10 pages. And all those tails cause problems... it's very hard to stand up, for a start. And all those tails really protest about being stuck on (yes, tails can protest)... You need a steady hand, some patience and a lot of super glue. Or you could do what I did - give up, forget about looks and crack open the duct tape. (carefully hidden from you in the photo. ) If anyone manages to do it well - yes, this is a challenge for you - show me! I would be very interested. And very impressed.
Have a go. Download it here: [link] and thanks for bothering to read my long description.
