Breadmaking Vikings"Why don't we have more bread making Vikings?" Hiccup mocked himself viciously as he stirred a handful of flour into the rapidly thickening bread dough. "Why did I ever agree to this. Stupid Astrid, stupid bet, stupid everything."Breadmaking Vikings in Fan Fiction More Like This
Thank Odin Tuff was still out chopping down trees for the winters supply of firewood. He'd never live it down, women's work in the big village lodge, Astrid sitting beside the large stone oven and smirking at him every step of the way. He winced a little, knowing that if any of the women he knew even suspected him of thinking that baking bread was women's work he'd be done for. All the women he knew could wipe the floor with him without even breaking a sweat.
"Keep stirring Hicca." Astrid crooned, thumbing the edge of her battle axe to test it's sharpness as she watched her friend, making sure he wasn't about to bail on their bet. She could only hope tha

"Hide you from what?" She asked acidly, wondering what in Niflheim could have one half of the fearless Thorsten twins running scared.
"Hiccup." Tuffnut hissed out frantically.
"Hide you from Hiccup?" Astrid cocked out a hip, crossing her arms and staring Tuffnut down like he'd grown an extra set of arms. "Seriously, Hiccup?"
"He's " Tuff paused, trying to find the right words. "gone crazy. He keeps following me, and he won't leave me alone."
"So he's got a weird case of hero worship. He'll get over it, he got over me." Astrid sneered, flipping her bangs out of her eyes.
"It's not hero worship." Tuff hissed out, his voice climbing in pitch.
"Astrid." Tuff froze, the familiar voice

"DAD!" Hiccup squeaked, pushing himself away from Tuffnut in such a hurry that he tripped over the bricks used for the fire pit and fell over.
"What's going on here?"
"Uhhhhh." Tuffnut stared blankly up at the Chief of the Village. His mind had gone blank, running for the hills in an attempt to save it's self, with little regaurd to the body it inhabited.
"He was helping me." Tuffnut got to his feet a little unsteadily, brushing off a bit of ash that had gotten stuck to his pants. "With my harness."
"Really. He was helpin' ye with your harness?" Hiccup nodded frantically. "With his tongue down your throat?"
"Uhhhh...yes?" Stoick took a breath, squeezing his eyes shut and pinching the bridge of his nose in an attempt to rid the image of his son, and one of the Thorston twins out of his mind.

Hiccup scowled, rubbing at his right arm, still sore from Astrid's punching. Apparently she thought it was a cute thing to do, to prove she was strong. But all it did was make Hiccup's arm ache, and he really didn't need the extra body pains, what with his missing limb and all.
He wandered aimlessly through the village, past the bakers, grabbing a sticky bun on the way down to the beach, where Toothless loved to roll around in the sand and dig up clams and hermit crabs. Apparently dragon's loved seafood, though he shouldn't have been surprised with Toothless' love for fish.
Usually the beach was empty, save for Toothless and a couple of Terrible Terrors who had made a home out of a small cave on the far end of the sandy shore. Today there was a familiar green Zippleback, one of it's head's asleep, the other one purring and garbling, sparking occasionally as it's jaw was scratched.
It was one of the twins

"I cannot believe I'm dating you." Astrid growled, pinching her nose at her boyfriend's idiocy.
"Four years and every bit of decent vampire lore has been destroyed." Hiccup muttered, tugging on one of Tuff's dreads. The blonde paused from shoving french-fries into his mouth and glanced down at his boyfriend.
"But, do I dazzle you?"
"DO NOT START THAT!!!" Hiccup yelped, leaping off of the picnic table bench and pointing at Tuff who started grinning.
"I am a strange, pale, pedophile. And I must read your mind because I love your scent." Tuff stood, prowling over to where Hiccup stood. The skinny brunette broke into a run just before Tuff got to him.
"COME BACK MY BRAINLESS BEAUTY!!!" Snotlout huffed as Tuff sta

"I'll take that bet." Astrid said, looking puzzled as to how Hiccup expected to accomplish such a thing. Tuff would rarely come when called as it was.
Taking a breath, as if to steal himself for what was about to happen, Hiccup took off his vest, holding it by two fingers. He grinned at Astrid and let it drop.
Half a minute later Tuff was standing in front of them. He had feathers in his hair and a lamb under one arm. He didn't look out of breath, though he must have run across the entire village.
Tuff grinned, shoving the lamb into Astrid's arms and throwing Hiccup over his shoulder in one smooth motion. Hiccup pointed to his vest lying on the ground and Astrid bent to pick it up.
"I'll explain later." Hiccup called out as he was carried off to be ravaged. Astrid stared down at the ve

Pairing Twiccup (Tuffnut/Hiccup/Ruffnut)
It was going to be a bad year, the Elder had foretold it, and Gobber had echoed it with the phantom pains his limbs gave off. Hiccup felt the same ones stabbing through the stump of his left leg, and oddly, stabbing through the portion that was all metal and wood.
On years when the Elder proclaimed a bad winter, many of the clans people would move to the Great Lodge. Putting up temporary lodgings and bunk beds to keep warm in the worst of the months when frost would permeate through the walls of the lodge, creeping along the floor and freezing everything it touched.
Tonight was one such night. Hiccup couldn't remember a night when he'd been so cold, the thick knitted blanket underneath the bear pelt did little to stave off the chill that managed to sneak into his bed, no matter how little he moved.
His teeth chattered until he clamped his jaw shut until it ached.
Halo NightTuff hated losing. Didn't matter if it was a full contact sport, or Halo night. If he was losing he would play dirty and cheat as wildly as he could before someone called foul.Halo Night in Fan Fiction More Like This
And the way they played Halo, there were plenty of fouls to be called.
Halo nights were every Friday, when they could relax for a few hours after the boring week of classes at the local college they all attended. Weekends were always hectic. Parents and siblings coming in and out to make sure they weren't starving, about to be homeless, or living in squalor.
This Friday night was no different. Fishlegs and Tuffnut were teammates, as were Snotlout and Hiccup. And at the moment, Snotlout and Hiccup were winning.
Hiccup had snuck into the enemy base, stolen the flag and was now weaving his way back to homebase. Tuff was silently fuming on the couch, glaring daggers at the back of Snotlouts head, Lout cheering his cousin on ra

"You don't wanna go back to the party?"
"Why would I? Everything I want I have in my arms." Hiccup snorted softly and Tuff squeezed him tight, the pair locked in an intimate embrace.
"Your so cheesy I need a plate of nachos."
"Oh god, shut up." But Hiccup was grinning, headbutting his boyfriend gently.

The twins had never been the kind of people to share anything. When they were younger, they would fight to first blood over whatever they could get their hands on. Be it a slab of ribs from dinner, or a cool looking rock found down by the beach.
But here they were, sitting on either side of Hiccup and watching him like he might try to run. The skinny Viking caught between the two of them didn't look scared, or angry. He didn't really have an expression save for amused exasperation when Ruff poked half of her venison on his plate and Tuff filled his goblet.
"Hi Astrid." Hiccup smiled at her and she shrugged, setting her plate down and sitting across from the trio. Tuff watched her suspiciously until it became apparent that she wasn't any kind of threat and went back to eating. Ruff ignored her as if she didn't exist.
"Hi Hiccup." Astrid poked at her potatoes, sl
