Spectacular sunset reflections at Shelley Beach - Nambucca, Australia NSW.

- Toned down the purple hue in the sky to match the reflection in the rock-pool. Also decreased saturation levels slightly.

The Promise Land glowing gold during a delightful sunset, Bellingen NSW.

I know this ain't the strongest compo, but the light wasn't hanging around for much longer. From standing knee deep in a refreshing stream, the warm sunlight on the trees was really inviting... hence the title :)

Opinions on the amount of contrast? This is way more than it has naturally, but people are always telling me that my BW work needs more and more.

The shutterspeed was 0.8 seconds.

I've never felt as alone as I did on the western side of the Andes Mountains, near the southern tip of South America, after trekking over remote and beautiful Paso del Viento (Pass of the Winds). My guide and I didn't see a single other person for three days. I made this image at sunset one evening, using a heavy stack of neutral density filters to lengthen my exposure, allowing for the colors of sunset to paint across the scene. To me, this image captures my feeling of being on the far side of the world. Los Glaciares National Park, Patagonia, Argentina.
