This one took me 4 hours ( ok not that quick ) And its something between a speedpaint, and a full paint so you can name it after anything you want
This work is the first of its kind in my gallery, I think I never did something similar, wich makes me happy. I also love the mood, the color sets in this picture, its verry appealing to the eye
Anyway, what is this?, Its a boss carrier picking up some lost monks somewhere in a forgotten planet. Those monks save the most important secrets of universe and must be rescued in order to preserve the continuity of humanity....
Also, Bigger size this time!!, ( download for full size, v7 doesnt show the real size of the images! )
wow, that was some great fun. I did this so fast!. Anyway, here I portrayed a dying space station, wich was attacked by some nearby ememies. some survivors look at the remaning pieces of this building, hopless...
oh well, this is also for the contest holded by these 2 guys and
One more speedpaint for this week. Here we are placed on the same city, but this time we are far away from the center. Luckyly in the futer there will still be "hidden" natural treasures like this central park full of trees. People take care of them as one of the most important things on earth. The scene takes place in the morning, you can realise this by looking at the sky, but some of the city lights are still working, something we use to see when we go out verry early in the morning
Nothing special just a quick 30 minutes speed painting messing with composition, lighting and some brushes. General concept is a series of giant portal arrays, 5 towers in each array which stretch miles high, and a little guy standing on top of a mountain. Wonder how he got there.
"All along the watch tower!" well in this case the Watch Tower doesnt look like it could support the weight a even one person let alone several, also that lava hitting it probably isnt doing it any good, those hellish minions and their bad design when will they learn. This one took a bit longer than the rest, roughly 50 minutes, spent longer on the rocks, I hate painting rocks.
And yes I did say the next image would be Paradiso but I changed my mind, that might be tomorrows image, but dont hold me to that.
A print of this painting can be bought here [link]
The aftermath of a devastating alien attack against a huge city complex, in an act of desperation the inhabitants used weapons of mass destruction on their own city to deter the invading forces. The weapons did indeed repel the attack, the ships that weren't destroyed or to damaged left retreated, the huge alien ships that were caught in the resulting explosions smashed into the cities bellow, huge towering wrecks littered the cities, plumes of smoke and ash ran on for miles, most of the area was reduced to a fiery inferno. Those that survived were greeted only by hellish scenes and a hostile environment, they considered the ones who had died in the attack the lucky ones.
New image from the Luminarium exhibit [link] go take a look there are so many awesome images.
lol I'm so clever it's ridicilous... some ship dodging missiles. Or missiles dodging a ship? A longer speedpaint tho, maybe around 4 hours or so. Seems like I'm getting slower,, maybe just getting older
