Do I dare take his hand and change our lives forever?

FULL SIZE; OR YOU WILL MISS MOST OF THIS.

OK, this took quite a while. First getting the lines just right. Then starting putting colors on. And then removing the lines. And then fine-tuning the colors and putting shading and highlight on. And then wondering if it was all a dead end. ;-) This is quite deferent to look at, but you know i like to experiment now and then.
Hope you like it.

I wondered where all the food in the kitchen went! That's the last time Homer babysits! The original image is taken from the 197th Issue of 'Simpsons Comics', I've recreated the image, added a funky background and shading.... voila. I like this, I love how it pops! Hope you enjoy and please VISIT MY PAGE for more.. there's nearly 600 of these things from over the years :)

Try to keep the laughter to a minimum. This is my first true, all digital drawing with no paper used whatsoever. I made this message for myself to keep moving forward.

A lovely scene from The Man In The Blue Flannel Pants.
One which I thought was great enough to try out this style on. The first time I've done it on any of my Simpsons pics.

See now, when I watch The Simpsons, I don't just watch it for humour or plot-lines. I find most inspiration from the animation, hence why my artwork turns out quite different from others. I suppose, you can appreciate it some more if it's a still image, after all you have more time to look, with no motion involved.
Anyway, I've always liked doing this type of thing with my work. It's a nice little surprise when they can do these dream sequences on the show. It lets them loose with their artistic license. The 60s/70s had a lot of colour and I was motivated to create this based on what I saw. A nice change especially considering there's usually not a lot of colour in art these days.
Then again, I do Simpsons fan art, so loads of Yellow.

Presenting the first in a series of spotlights on some of the lesser known characters from the Simpsons.

*Please be warned that due to no characterization or back-story (or even names) to these characters, all information is made up by myself to exist in my Simpsons universe.* :)

First up is Ariana Eden Hamilton:

Born in Springfield to affluent parents, her parents' divorce and loss of income led her to being enrolled in Springfield Elementary School, rather than Springfield Preparatory School like they had originally planned.

It is unknown what classes she took during her early years, but it is known that she was in Mrs. Krabappel's Grade 4 class with Bart Simpson, Milhouse van Houten, and the twins Sherri and Terri. She became close friends with several of the girls, including the aforementioned twins, Melissa and Stacy Adams.

An average student, she nevertheless excelled in the Arts, and was the unofficial gaming queen of Springfield, being something of a prodigy with console-basing gaming machines.

When she was 11-years-old, in Grade 5, she briefly dated fellow classmate Richard, but it did not go too well to her liking, leading to her questioning of her preference for boys. She tried again a little later with another classmate Lewis, but to the same result. She decided to swear off boys for a while, disillusioned as she was by her failures in love.

She entered Springfield Junior High at age 12, and came to realize her growing attraction to other girls. By High School, at age 15, she firmly believed that she was a lesbian, but kept that fact to herself, not wanting to be ostracized by her peers.

It wasn't until she started at Springfield University at age 19, with it's more relaxed, accepting atmosphere, that she was able to outwardly show her sexual orientation. Her first attraction there was none other than Lisa Simpson, who was also questioning her sexuality at this stage in her life.

The two began a tentative relationship, that soon bloomed into something more serious. By the end of their term at University, they were well-known to be a couple, and even had the acceptance of Lisa's parents, who had been acclimatized to same-sex relationships by Lisa's Aunt Patti, who was also a known lesbian.

Ariana graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in the Fine Arts, and took a job at the Springfield Palace of Fine Arts, and lives in a modest flat with Lisa in the Springfield Heights district.

Ariana is popular and well-liked, although somewhat retiring, despite her life-style choice, and has a pet parrot called George.

In this drawing Homer and Marge are in the hospital in ultrasound =) Homer has never seen his new baby, while Marge has been in ultrasound three times without him. She has not told him what the sex is, because he did`nt want to know. He got very happy when he heard that it was a girl they are ging to get. =) This time is in 1983. Right after Barts 2 birthday. Homer and Marge are married, if you wondered, thats why I have drawed a ring on Marge finger at the last picture. I haven`t drawed a new wedding drawing, since a have done it a long time ago.

Marge is pregnant in her 6 month.

Here is Homer and Marges wedding: [link]
