Like when it threatens you with bad luck
You tend to feel violated
And when you are going through rough times
You just feel like you're in a rut and you're stuck
You just can't seem to figure out what's wrong
All you really need to do is listen to a good song
Just kick back and calm down for a minute
Let everything just fade away and just kick it
Go with the flow once in a while
Go on a long walk, even if it takes a mile
Everything will eventually sort itself out
Even if sometimes you think you need to shout
Deep down inside you know where you are
Sooner or later you will reach that special star
That contains success one way or another
Even with the help of your mother
Just wait a bit, it will take time
Because in the end it will be your time to shine!!
Who I AmThey say you're special as a human beingWho I Am in Free Verse More Like This
But nothing's all I'm ever seeing
I'm not really good at much
Like at math, science, history, and such
But here's the bottom line for me
I try to keep things the way they must be
I also try to stay true to myself
That's like keeping books in order on a shelf
Don't ever let someone tell you you're worthless
Cause in the end, you'll be the one with the Misess (Mrs. = married)
And they'll be the one that is poor, single and lonely
Fighting with a hobo for a fry named Tony
So be proud of who you are even in your downiest days
Have fun like there's no tomorrow, ignite something into flames
Then run like hell, over the fence and down under
Run as fast as you can, go on and feel the thunder.
Wish You Were HereShe was the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes on. I didn't ever think even in my wildest dreams that I, myself, someone like me, could ever date someone as soft hearted, beautiful, breath-taking, intelligent, and sweet such as her. She let me be who I was. She was attracted to me and I absolutely adored her. We spent wonderful times together. We didn't date very long, but I cherished every moment I had ever spent with her. But now she's gone, not dead gone, but she's out of my life now, and I regret us ever breaking apart the way we did. I'm not really even sure how we split apart anymore, but the fact is that I still love her. I still can't get her out of my mind. Every time someone talks about love or even mentions the word love, the only thing I can think of is her. She was wonderful to me. We were beautiful together. I loved her so much. I want to hurt myself so bad for ever letting her go. The scariest parts of our relationship, though, was when we were so intimate thatWish You Were Here in General Non-Fiction More Like This

This wonderful Angel
I can't explain how much I love her
Too soon to love you'd think
I met her a few days ago
We're already hitting it off
Best feeling I've had in a long time
She's the best
Better than the rest
I'm sure of it
I think I've been blessed
The awesome, hair, the breathe taking eyes
The Angelic face, it's perfect
She's perfect, words aren't half of it
She makes me feel like there's no one else
That matters in the world but us to
I know, I've got my blessed family & friends
But those are just half of it, I mean. . .
She's the whole other half
She's so wonderful, her personality
The way we are so attracted to each other
It's like a perfect beginning to a perfect end,
But the thing that makes me a bit depressed. . .
Is that she lives . . . in Wyoming.
You know what that means, long distance relationship
The question, is will it last?
I guess that's a question only I and her can answer
Well if we love each other like we say, I'm sure we can make it.

Is it wrong to feel cold and lonely all the time
Is it wrong to feel distrusted and disliked
Is it wrong to want to be in the dark
Is it wrong to feel like there's no one else
Is it wrong to feel completely empty inside
Is it wrong to feel you can't do anything right
Is it wrong to feel like a dwarf in a world full of giants
Is it wrong to feel like you're always taking steps backwards
While everyone else is taking steps forwards
Is it wrong to feel like there's always someone talking shit on you
Is it wrong to feel like you're the only odd one in the room
Is it wrong to feel like you've made the biggest mistakes of all
Is it wrong to regret almost everything that has happened in your life
All these things may or may not be wrong, but I know one thing
It is right to be wrong sometimes because no one is perfect

And you'll always be the one for me,
So come into my arms and love me so,
And I will set my wings free.
When I look into your eyes, I see foreshadowing of our future,
We have many beautiful children, a beautiful house and pets,
As I see your beautiful happy face satified with our lives,
I will always know that these things are where my mind sets.
I will sit back and let nature take its course,
So that we live happy lives as our hearts grow closer,
No one will ever take that away from us,
Nor will they ever break us apart.

But the truth you don't need to envy anyone
Because you are your own special and unique person inside and out

Those are your own situations and you have the strength to deal with them yourself
Whatever position you are in you are meant to be there
You don't have to wish to be in someone else's shoes because In some way or another there's always going to be something wrong or something you don't fit into

So hot I just want to say good night
My skin is nothing but layers of sweat
It makes me want to lay under the sunset
Being under a waterfall
It feels so good to be wet
You just want to take your shirt off and jump into a river or pool
And once you get in there it will feel really cool
You're probably asking, "What am I talking about"
Well I'm talking about that wonderful sensation
Feeling so hot but then when you jump into a pool
It's like everything you have ever wanted doesn't even matter
Just as long as you get to sit there and chill for a while
Just like drinking a cup of water
You feel refreshed and everything is okay
Well this poem made me thirsty so I will talk to you later

A knock on the door woke her in the morning. "Gwen?" a tiny voice peeped. "Gwen, you awake?"
"Unnnhhhh " she groaned and sat up, eyes still closed and sticky with sleepiness. "Darius, whattimeizzit?" she asked, her voice still thick and groggy.
"It's about three-thirty. You told me you wanted up, remember?" he whispered. Gwen cleared her throat.
"Oh, yeah, thanks," she said, now suddenly more alert.
"I don't understand you teenagers at all," her little brother offered extremely politely.
As soon as she was sure Darius was back in bed, she quietly opened her windowscreen. She carefully stepped out onto the roof and closed the rusty screen behind her. She needed this. She needed it desperately. She needed it more than anything, just to end her misery. She thought her plan over in her head again. It wouldn't take very long, maybe 20 minutes at most. Her parents wouldn't catch her; it was too e

She sat at the edge of her bed, unmoving. Her thick, brunette hair framed her attractive face, and continued to flow down the contours of her slim shoulders perfectly, ending at the shoulder blades. She stole a glance at the digital clock across the darkened room. 11:58, the clock flashed back.
She sighed and looked across her room. An unusual amount of stuffed animals for a 15-year-old were strewn throughout it, accompanied by the occasional piece of written on, erased, crumpled, and re-crumpled paper. A poster of a fearsome-looking dragon, painted by a long-ago forgotten artist, hung proudly on the wall beside her bed. The dragon stared out over the room with an intenseness that far belittled his claws and teeth. A picture of her in a lovely white sundress stood beside her dusty, antique jewelry box. Her deep, brown eyes were once again drawn to the clock.

It was at least 4:30 by the time Gwen got into bed that morning. She had slept in until about 11:00. It was summer vacation, after all. She was allowed to sleep in. She woke to the smell of hamburgers on the grill wafting through her window. She absentmindedly stepped down onto the carpeted floor, startled at first by the bunny slippers that devoured her feet in one gulp. She looked down with amused eyes, only to have them stare back with indifference. Whatever, you stinky, tailless rabbits, Gwen attacked in her mind humorously. Wow, what I have I come to? With the euphoria of flying, you would have thought that I would have regained some sanity. But here I am, insulting my slippers, and feeling terrible about it! She blew her slippers an apologetic kiss and hurried down the steps to her family.
Her dad greeted her as she lumbered past. She grunted in return.
"Someone's tired," her mom offered.
"Mmm-hmm." Gwen replied sleepily.

"Listen, I have no intentions of hurting you, I just wanna know who you are," he said in almost a whisper into her ear. He let go of her mouth and waist and studied the expression on her face.
"What the hell are you doing?" Gwen gasped. She pulled herself away from him. "How do you know where I am? Who are you? How did you know I'd be here at this time of night?"
"Please, stop, I have answers to everything." He held a finger to her lips to silence her.
"My name is Draike, first off, and I first saw you on your joyous flight at least a week or so ago. I wanted to know-"
"Wait, you saw me flying?" Gwen interrupted. A wave of fear and panic washed over her, and her face went white. And why did the name Draike sound so familiar?...
"I judge by the expression on your face and the quickness to interrupt me, I wasn't supposed to see you with your wings," Draike offered. "Don't worry, I won't tell a soul, and this is why I

Naeco swam closer to the ship, she watched it carefully from underneath the waterscape. She had heard so many bad stories of mer-people getting caught by pirates, she would rather turn her fins around and swim away from the ship. But she couldnt, she had to show herself brave. She took a deep breath and began to sing the only song she knew.
Blue is the ocean
Blue are the sea
Blue are the eyes

- Arr, what is that? Someone singing? On ME ship!
- No Captain, its a mer...
- Mermaid ?! Quick, cover your ears and capture her!

- Yeah, an she sings like a godess...
- I think she sings like me ol mum.

"You don't seem to like them."
"I don't, frankly." he replied, half amused by the subject. He couldn't help but wonder where such an odd question suddenly came from.
What made him wonder more as of late, however, was Cynder herself.
Once upon a time she had been an all-powerful monster, laying siege wherever she pleased, ruling over everything. She'd even defeated them all in battle and captured them, then drained them of their powers, all to free her "master", the one who'd corrupted her. All feared her, and her terrifying power.
And now? Now she was a little dragoness. She had only little of her former strength, no longer seemed to have any intention of capturing or killing anyone. But she w

The little child sat propped in her bathtub, foam covering everything except her head, which burst with wet golden curls. Her hands scooped at the foam before her, covering her skin in bubbly snow. She threw her hands upwards, letting the bubbles fly, watching them take flight and descend on her mother's hair. They popped, one by one, and she giggled.
"You can't be a dreamer when you grow up," said her mother, sitting on a pink stool next to the bathtub. Her sad tawny eyes surveyed her only child, her mistake. Bitterness tore at her features, turning them haggard and twisted, but the child saw nothing but the hazelnut face of her mother.
"Why not, Mummy?"
"It's not a job. You can't earn money from it." Despite her bitterness, the mother allowed a small smile. Innocence was such a smile-inducing phenomenon.
"Well, I don't care," the child scooped another handful of foam, letting it sag in her petite hands, "I want to be a dreamer wh
