Saturday morning was always a mixed time for Cera. On the upside, it was Saturday and that meant she was free to sleep in as late as she wanted. Although, to be honest, when she'd been a Solaris gladiator she slept in late almost every day. A morning person she was not. On the downside, it being Saturday often meant she'd been out partying the night before and she might have a hangover.
Cera, like most sane people, hated having a hangover.
Fortunately, on this particular Saturday morning there was no hangover, even though she'd been having an incredible time the night before. Sayuki had asked her to be her Maid of Honour and, in addition to being amazingly proud, it was her job as such to throw the bride-to-be an unforgettable bachelourette party. There'd been three different nightclubs, lots of dancing and drinking, male strippers, more drinking, gifts from

June started on a positive note with Isabelle's twentieth birthday celebration on the first of the month. The shindig the Fusiliers threw for her wasn't a surprise, but it was very significant because it was the only birthday party she'd ever had in her life. Having been raised very poor with only her mother, and then losing her mother at the age of twelve, well, there simply hadn't been a lot a special times in Isabelle Pearl's life.
All that changed with the birthday party. Alexandra pulled out all the stops, spared no expense. Isabelle was treated like royalty right from the start with Marie serving her breakfast in bed. She was taken on a whirlwind shopping tour of Innsbruck, instructed to pick whatever she wanted: clothes, jewellery, electronics, sim chips, holoplayers; anything and everything (among her choices Isabelle stocked up on hologames and got a new SeraVideo game player to

All along the edges of the forest, the Fusiliers waited in their BattleMechs, hidden among the ancient, snow-covered trees. Their engines were powered down to the minimum to reduce their heat signatures and all the safeties on their weapons were off. They waited; some calmly, some nervously, yet all anxious for the coming battle.
Well, ambush was a better way of putting it.
Radar had tracked the incoming raider during its approach to Kolovraty. Calculating back along its trajectory, best guess was that the JumpShip which had brought it to the system was somewhere at the zenith jump point. No matter where Kolovraty was in its orbit of Apollo, they had an unobstructed line of sight on the incoming DropShip, right up until it swung around the gas giant on its final approach to Kolovraty. Even then they only lost it for an hour or so, then picked it up again.

Erik and Isabelle were welcomed into the ranks of the Fighting Fusiliers with enthusiasm by their new comrades, and the two MechWarriors were a little overwhelmed, especially Isabelle. With her quasi-pirate background she had expected a lot of suspicion, but the Fusiliers were more curious than anything else. There were endless stories and rumours about the assorted Bandit Kingdoms, yet little solid fact. Marie in particular liked her straight away, and the two of them quickly became good friends.
As for Erik, well, the ladies certainly had no complaints. Marie and Laura had been very friendly from the start, and were even more delighted when they found out that he and Isabelle weren't an item. Isabelle said they were friends and nothing more. Ian was a bit wary of the "big blonde Norse god" at first (as Cera kept calling him) because Erik was taller than he was and really cut an

It turned out that Leutnant Herman Stoltz wasn't quite the prig Garadun had taken him for. He was a bit formal in his manner and bearing, but once you sat down with him and talked over a beer, he was a fairly decent guy. He was at least big enough to admit when he was wrong and was willing to learn from his mistakes. He stayed on Kolovraty for over a week while the Kin Shan took on a new load of cargo (mainly lumber) and then was on his way back to his posting with the 15th Lyran Regulars.
Christmas came and went. Most Fusiliers didn't celebrate the ancient festival, and for those who did it really wasn't more than a secular holiday. This included Garadun, Marie and Alexandra; as well as Cera who'd adopted Christmas from her best friend because it meant giving and getting presents, which was always fun. Alexandra spoiled the girls with jewellery and Garadun got an antique book

Garadun sat in the command couch of his Hunchback, his feet up on the control panel and his neurohelmet hanging on its hook on the side of the chair as he listened to music and read a magazine. He was ready for the match, but Jimmy wasn't.
After asking for and getting a bunch of volunteers from the Innsbruck Militia's technical company to help him, Jimmy had gone to the abandoned factory the next day to set up remote holocameras all over the ruined factory to capture the entire upcoming match. Unfortunately, the job had been a lot more difficult than expected and they had had to continue their work all through Saturday morning, the day of the fight itself. It was now past 1600 hours local time and they were still at it. The holocameras had sat in sub-zero temperatures for more than a day and several of them had had to be replaced. Despite the fact that the city of Innsbruck was located less than 1000 kilometres north of Kolovraty's equator, it was still cold and snowy during the winter months. The average equatorial temperature was about ten degrees cooler than that of Terra, which meant the entire climate was colder overall. As something of an amateur historian, Garadun compared Kolovraty's environment to roughly that of Earth's last Ice Age. The equatorial region was habitable, but the further north or south you went the colder it got, especially during winter.
There were large icecaps at the poles with plenty of tundra surrounding them. The tundra gave way to dense, coniferous boreal forests; which in turn slowly became boreal woodlands mixing coniferous and deciduous trees. The equatorial belt was a mix of open grasslands and mixed boreal forests. There were mountain ranges spread across the globe, a

The Kin Shan was a Union class DropShip converted to hauling cargo, although its bays could still be rigged to store BattleMechs if it was required. The Europa was a Mule class and completely dominated the tarmac at the Robert Marsden Spaceport. At 158 meters across it was almost twice the diameter of the Kin Shan. It massed three times as much and could hold more than eight thousand tons of cargo in its bays.
The arrival of both DropShips had made news on the local networks and was cause for celebration among the people of Kolovraty. Located as the world was on the edge of the Periphery, they didn't get nearly as many cargo ships each standard year as they'd like. Two ships loaded with merchandise at the same time was definitely something to be glad about. In addition to all sorts of regular supplies they also carried a lot of mail; the bulk of which was things people had o

The Altstadt Palace was the most spectacular building on Kolovraty and the official residence of Duke Josef Sheridan. First built in 2673 when the system was part of the Rim Worlds Republic, the building was a close copy of the Hofburg Palace found in Vienna, Austria on Old Earth. The ruler of Kolovraty at the time had wanted something beautiful and grand, and had looked to the distant past for inspiration. It had been badly damaged during the Amaris Civil War, but when the Lyran Commonwealth annexed the system after the war, Duke Sheridan's ancestor restored it to its former glory.
In the heart of the palace complex were a series of magnificent halls that could serve a variety of functions, and one of the most impressive was the Ceremonial Hall. It was here that Duke Sheridan was hosting the royal ball in honour of the Fusiliers. In attendance were assorted members of Kolovraty's nobi

Standing on an outcropping of rock at the top of a hill, with the Great Boreal Forest behind him and the Inn Valley stretching out in front of him, and Apollo in its red, blue and purple glory filling a large part of the sky, Garadun couldn't help but feel moved by the beauty of Kolovraty. This was a world worth protecting.
He took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh cool air. It was a few degrees above freezing and there was a thin layer of snow on the ground, broken up across the valley with bare patches of open terrain. He could just make out the Inn River from here. He understood why people had made this planet their home. He gave a last look around, then made his way back to where his Hunchback stood waiting. He climbed the ladder to the 'Mech's shoulder and stood for a moment before retracting the chain ladder and ducking into the cockpit, sealing the hatch behind him.

The four Jedi knights gathered around Revan as she worked on a plan to gather more members to their cause and in the long run convince the Council to join the war. If they were to gather as many followers as possible they were going to separate for a time before regrouping. Alek and Aryncca had volunteered to travel to three of the core worlds, while Zther and Carson would travel to only two core worlds. Revan, on-the-other-hand, would stay here and see if she could gather more of a following.
She stood, We will regroup in a months, agreed?

Part 1: Argument
Coruscant Jedi Temple, later that day
Revan walked quickly through the halls towards the speeders. What was she thinking? Without the support of the Council there was only a slim chance other Jedi would join with her. That chance was all the Republic had, but would there be enough Jedi to make a difference in the long run or would the Republic fall because of the Orders shortsightedness. Jedi were supposed to be the protectors of peace and when that peace failed they werent supposed to stand idly by and watch as the Republic crumbled around them, but help regain that very peace.
It was this knowledge alone that gave Revan the strength to do what she knew to be right. If she didnt stand against the Councils decision, than, who would? Would the Republic fall if none of the Jedi acted? To her that seemed like a high possibility.

Closing her eyes she took several deep claming breaths, before she stood. Alek, Ill take over, she whispered to her oldest friend.

There are three kinds of intelligence in this world. Most people already know the first two ... There's "book smarts," of course, the ability to grasp difficult concepts and remember information, and there's "street smarts," or the ability to read people, to understand what they mean and how to speak to them.
The thing is, if those were the only two kinds of intelligence, I guess I'd be about as sharp as a stick of butter. That's why I came up with the third kind, or as I liked to call it, the "only kind of smarts that matters." It's cleverness. Wittiness. The ability to think on your feet and get by without needing book smarts or street smarts. I even told a few friends about it, and they agreed with me that it's the best kind of intelligence to have. I knew it could get me through any situation, and I couldn't see it ever letting me down.
As it turns out though, only excelling in one of these three aspects will get you into trouble, no matter which one it is. Righ

Then I looked back over at the helplessly floundering goldeens and magikarps and I figured maybe it came more naturally to some than others.

Some heads turned in his direction.
"Assassins?" Azurol asked in his thick brogue, "They can be subtle."
"True, in that it's their job. But that's not what I'm referring to Mr. Azurol."
Bastila looked up at him, "Does it have to do with the code?"
"Yes, very good Miss Bastila." Master Relik smiled, "Miss Aneth, can you come up here please? I need someone to demonstrate what I'm going to be talking about."
"Sure Master Relik." Ann stood and went to the front of the room, next to Master Relik.
The Master smiled, "Excellent. Now pay attention class."
He flicked her ear.
Ann grabbed the side of her head, "Hey! What was that for?"
Ky froze and her eyes widened. <

Ann collapsed on the ground and let the cool breeze wash over her as she lay on the tall green grass; feeling Anakin wiggle in her sash, she reached in and pulled him out. He cooed and hopped around her, looking for bugs.
Ky was still up after running thirteen laps around the enclave and now she was rapidly practicing Kashieth stances that her Gramptra Bindo sent over her datapad. Ann was still curious how he'd obtained such knowledge, since it was a secret to the Kumari; but if it made Ky's rage lessen and turned her into a better fighter like she wanted, who was Ann to deny her? Maybe it would keep Master Relik alive longer.
"You know Ky, when my mother told me 'It takes buckets of blood, eons of time and careful planning to bring about times of peace for the galaxy, and only one idiot to throw it out of sync.'" She frowned, "I didn't know she'd be talking about one of my Jedi Masters."

Ky felt her temper rise and her heart thump madly, he wasn't going to give them up!
Both of them turned at Ann's voice.
"Could you give Ky back our sabers. They aren't yours. She was keeping them safe for us."
Cogs frowned, "Angel, you've had a hard day. I'm sure you're exhausted-"

"Shut-up Zep! You have no idea what's going on!"

Sighta gasped as she was released from her bonds and fell hard to the freezing floor. Shivering, she stood and quickly put on the rags, they had thrown on the floor at her feet, over her underwear. It might not be her old clothes which she knew they kept with the rest of her stuff locked behind a force shield on the wall to the left of where they kept her, but it was better then freezing to death while fighting. Not that she really wanted to fight. Ever since they had started putting her into the duels, she had sought her death at the hands of the other prisoners. It was better than them slowly killing her while they tried to discover those closest to her.
Once she was dressed they quickly replaced the chains on the cuffs they had not taken off. Blood still trickled out from under them, but she had long since learned to live with the wounds knowing they might one day bring her death ab

Ky entered the room a little nervous, but wore her General face and military pose to the max, even if her hair was poofed a little at the edges. (She'd managed to shower and put on some clean clothes to look presentable, she just hoped it was enough. She'd wanted to chop her hair shorter but Mical had put a quick stop to that idea. She'd told him it was the only way she could tame it but he had refused to allow it.)
Mical and Visas had stayed behind to tend their kutas while Bao and Mira had accompanied her.
Bao and Visas had returned with all the cargo they needed and had bought other provisions along the way. Ky finally felt everything was coming together. Revan was back, they had the Republic's ear because of it, her apprentices were growing in their skills and knowledge of the Force, and her kutas would become just as powerful as she (minus the death part... she hoped). In low tones she said, "I warned you."
The next thing Bastila knew, she was shoved back! As she stumbled backward, Ky's blue saber whipped up and around to the lower right. Bastila barely blocked it! As blade met blade another shower of sparks shot everywhere!
Out of the corner of her vision Bastila saw a crowd of students gathering around the two of them, giving quite a wide berth, but highly curious.
Ky jumped back as Bastila spun her blade. The two of them stared at each other, one in survival mode, the other in pure determination to cream her opponent. Hearing voices, she stopped and ducked back behind the corner seeing Aneth and Kezar standing in the hallway. She couldn't quite hear what they were saying but Aneth was gesturing and pointing towards the janitor's closet. Kezar actually looked curious.
Wonder what problem Ann's going to cause now? Bastila looked and saw a better vantage point, it was only twelve feet away, and if she could be quick and quiet enough
Bastila used force speed to dash over to the shadowed hallway and pressed herself against the wall. Kezar looked up.
"Did you feel that?"
"Feel what?" Ann looked around.

Scrappy Sunday: Dolly's HeartSandy sat high in her office with a perfect view of the factory below and its maze of assembly lines and armatures making doll after doll. She was alone now as she was staying late on this Friday night, an all too common for Sandy occurrence these days, ever since she became a single woman again. Sandy sighed at the little pattern for the rag doll and her cute little features. She thought about all the ways this doll could make so many children happy.
The little doll, though, was unlikely to ever get made. She was just a rag doll that
5 - A Lesson For AlessiaThe lamp was not as she left it. Instead of the cozy apartment with red brick walls and creaky wooden floors, Alessia stood on a disc that floated in space. The sun blazed far out ahead of her, and the moon danced behind her. A man sat in the middle of the disc. His billowing pantaloons and curl-toed slippers were cut from a purple cloth, and laced with designs threaded in pink. He wore them well. His body was well muscled and he had a wide barrel chest. His skin was a deep tan and his thick braided hair pulled back. He opened his eyes.
“Hello, Alessia.” His voice was the male voice that trapped her in the lamp, “I am Rayad.”
The genie stayed where she was, as she tried to decide to join him. “Are -- are we in the lamp?”
Rayad smiled at her, “Let this be your first lesson, Genie Alessia: It is not the lamp, or a lamp. It is your
The Puppet of Grissam LaneThere was something undeniably fascinating about the house on Grissam Lane. It was a squat building, its long frame low on the ground. Built from gray brick and stone, it was almost camouflaged amid the gray wood forest around it. While most of the town trees were just turning amber and gold, the leaves around this house had already withered from their branches and blown away into dust, leaving only a sad yellow grass carpet on the ground. A perpetually dry creek ran along the front of the property, forcing visitors to cross an aged rickety bridge. And under the right conditions, such as the chill moist air of tonight, a deep fog would settle around the house. In Mike's mind, this made the house the perfect Halloween make-out point. The Puppet of Grissam Lane in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This

“So you’re Mahreen’s heir?” He said, brandishing the knife and stepping closer to Alessia and the man behind her.
“I don’t know who you’re talking about.” She felt small standing against Francesco. He had over a hundred pounds and a gun on her. But she had magic. Alessia had to have magic, or what was the point of any of this? But the new genie had no idea where that magic was, or

The doll was patient to just stand there until she realized the warmth that Max gave her was quickly fading away; her body was stiffening once again. Terrified, she jumped forward and grabbed Max's free arm. It was just enough to keep the tide of coldness at bay. He looked at her and Haley smiled sheepishly, and he smiled in return.

On summer weekends, the windows were opened and gates opened to any who could make their way down little used streets to the estate, and the vibrant and youthful came from across the county to have a good time inside the house, on its great lawns, and on Edgerin Lake, whose clear waters lapped up right behind the estate.Lonely Adam in Short Stories More Like This

The heartless monster left in his place,
How was a broken snow white queen able to fight him?
So she waits on the other side,
Knowing Vader will breathe on.
But when Luke is ready...
Anakin will pull through.

She closed her eyes, sinking against him as she thought. After a few minutes of weighing her options, she whispered, "Ragna."
The only response she received was a snore, so she pawed at his shoulder and increased her volume. "Ragna."
"Huh ?" With a yawn, he opened his eyes. Drowsiness etched into his

"Well, here we are."
Ragna led Tsubaki into a half-barren room. Tsubaki eyed a small bag on the floor. Was everything Ragna owned contained in that tiny thing? Why am I feeling pity for a murderer? Lost in thought, she jumped when Ragna spoke. "You should probably clean up a bit."
"Huh?" She shook her thoughts away. "You mean, like, take a shower or something?"
"Or something. At least clean off the blood." After kneeling by the bag, he pulled out a spare hakama and a training shirt. He yanked one of the belts holding his jacket in place and tossed all three to her. "Here. Dry clothing. Probably way the hell too big, but I ain't got anything your size."
"...Thanks." She limped into the bathroom in the back and shut the door. With a sigh, Ragna shucked his drenched clothing. After throwing on dry clothes and hanging his jacket on a chair, he laid back on the bed. Why in the nine circles of Hell was he showing such mercy to Tsubaki? "I'm not leaving, Lotte." Litchi reached him and crouched down, eyes soft but wary. "I can help you. Save you. I know someone that will keep us safe from the Library. So please "
"Litchi why d you go so f r for me?" At once, all the madness and breaks in Arakune's voice disappeared. For the moment, Lotte Carmine existed once more. "Just move on from me already."
Shaking her head, Litchi sighed. "I can't do that, Lotte. I won't lea-"
"Why?" The sudden shout sucked the air from Litchi, leaving her voiceless. "Why do you care for me? I am a failure. I accomplished nothing. Why do you care?"

Ragna snarled at Rachel. "I'm me, Rachel. Let me go."
"Is that so?" With a shake of her head, she kneeled beside him. "I do believe I require proof before I consider releasing you."
"I " An image flashed through his mind; Tsubaki disappearing into a maw opening in the street, reaching her hand out with a heart-shattering scream. He shivered as that image repeated itself, over and over until his eyes were wide. " Where's Tsubaki?"
Rachel sighed. " She fell, as you well know. The odds of her survival are rather low, I'm afraid."
" You gotta know. You're freaking omniscient, god dammit! Where the hell is she?"
"My powers of observation have become somewhat less potent. However " She turned a soft gaze on him, filled with rare pity. "I cannot feel her presence. I am truly sorry, Ragna."
"She's not dead." She couldn't be. Not after everything they'd been through together. Ragna kicked, unable to pull the shackle out an inch. Darknes

Twelve figures sat at an azure table in a semicircle, staring up at the purple-robed girl at the forefront with reverence. None would dare make a move or sound until she, the Imperator Librarius, began the discussion. That didn't mean they would not glance at the slender man by the Imperator's side in confusion, though. Nor that they would not feel a surge of offense when Hazama yawned. "Can we just start already? I swear, I'm gonna grow a stick up my ass just by being near these people."
"Mind your place, Hazama, or I shall have you removed." Saya's crimson gaze did not appear to be directed at anyone. "We convene today to discuss the action to be taken against the rebel state of Ikaruga."
Silence answered her; the notion that Ikaruga was still in a state of rebellion was news to the heads of the Duodecim. Finally, a man with dark hair curling down to his chest rose. "If I may, Imperator?"
"You may proceed, head of Mutsuki."
"Thank you. I was unaware that Ikar

He stood alone on a desolate plain. Besides the long-dead vegetation stretching into infinity, all he could see was the burnt remnants of a church. High above, the abyssal skies were devoid of all but a blood-red moon. And beyond that, nothing. No mountains in the distance, no stars dotting the sky, just him, the ruins and the moon. Ragna scowled and sat down on the ashy ground. "Goddamnit, I hate this dream. Even if it is a bit different than normal "
"It's not a dream."
He jumped as the feminine voice carried through the night, his hand reaching for the oversized hunk of metal he called his sword. It came back empty. "The hell? Who's there? Where are you?"
A giggle. "Same place as you, Ragna!"
"I kinda figured that, you little shit wait." His eyes widened with recognition. "Nu? The hell are you doing here? You're dead."
"I said Nu will always be by your side. So, here I am!"
Ragna groaned. "So, when you transferred the Idea Engine to me, you came with it

The Times, They Are A Changin"The primaries are over for the mayor of Angel Falls and, to the surprise of no one, Mayor Donovan and Alderman McGee won handily for their respective parties. Early polling indicates that it will be a very tight race with the incumbent mayor is leading with 42 percent of registered voters. McGee is trailing with 39 percent. A possible third candidate is Melinda Crane, a lawyer and activist in Angel Falls, who has recently had a groundswell of support with her efforts in helping the growing Meta-Gang population as well as the rehabilitation of the historic Old Port District. "Are you sure that you're ready to go back to work today?" John asked as Mindy was putting on her black blazer and checked her outfit in the mirror.
"I've used up my sick time and I don't want to dig into my vacation since we're planning on going to Twinfort-on-Sea to visit your family home. Besides, it would be nice to get back into a normal schedule and try to put the past few days behind me."
"Alright, Mel, if that's what you want. But if you want to blow it off and play hooky, I'm just a phone call away."
"Thanks for the offer," she said, giving him a quick kiss before heading out to her car in the garage. She fired up the engine, turned on the radio, and pulled onto the street. Arriving at the parking structure that her law firm shared with the other companies in the complex, she pulled into her reserved spot. Being a partner had its privileges. She took the elevator to the 5th floor and as she stepped out, to her surprise, was Nancy Brenton.

"Well, good morning sleepyhead," a familiar voice said.
She rubbed her eyes and focused her vision. Sitting in the chair next to her was John, fresh off his shift with the Angel Falls Police Department; the large smile on his face couldn't hide the concern in his eyes.
"Hey you," she said groggily as she sat up in the bed. Mindy looked at her surroundings and realized she was back at Stranger Industries, albeit not in the basement like before as she was able to look through the large window at the high rise buildings of Eden Island.
"How did I get here? The last thing I remember is sitting in Yusaka's office going over some paperwork."
"You fell asleep there and Lin brought you home a few hours later. I didn't think much of it until it was a day later and you were still sleeping. I called Dr. Wainwright and brought you back here. He hooked an IV up since we weren't sure the last time you had anythin

"Mel?" John asked with trepidation at the muscular out of control redhead that was, apparently, his wife Melinda.
The hulking woman snarled and slowly turned towards him.
"John!" Mindy exclaimed as her eyes lit up and a big bright smile crossed her face as she ran over and placed him in a big bear hug, lifting him off the ground.
"Ow" John grunted as he winced in pain from Mindy's display of affection and she put him down.
"Oh, sorry," she apologized. "I guess I don't know my own strength now."
"Yeah, care to explain?"
"Well, to put this in layman's terms Mr. Crane," the doctor replied. "Mindy's altered cells absorbed much of the energy from the fusion cell explosion. The amazing part is that even with her accelerated healing factor, that much intake into her body should have incinerated her. It's been a rough couple of days for John Crane. Melinda's secret was out for the whole world to see. And after looking out the window, it sure seemed like the whole world was out on his front yard. Television cameras, newspaper reporters, paparazzi, all looking for a sound bite or a quick glimpse of the woman who's now leading the mayoral race in Angel Falls and who also happens to be one of the city's most recognizable super heroines.
But she was nowhere to be found, not that a small detail like that would stop these vultures from circling around the house. Mindy, too weak to move let alone fly, was whisked away from the scene by Angelina to Stranger Industries. While it seemed strange to John, it was the most logical place for her to go since the area hospitals wouldn't have the technology or security that The Lone Stranger had at his disposal. John hadn't seen his wife since then.
He grabbed his keys and headed

In recent weeks the supervillain giantess Skyscraper had been spotted stealing various items from the large tech companies both in Angel Falls and surrounding cities. She's been able to stay a step ahead of both the AFPD and the Guardians as she continues her quest to duplicate "Project Ultra".
Mindy's patrols have been concentrated on locating the blonde titan and as she followed a unmarked truck that had been rerouted, via road construction through the Old Harbor District, she found what she was looking for as an unassuming female worker holding the stop sign pointed a gun and forced the driver out who, in turn, ran out in the opposite direction.
"Hold it right there!" Mindy yelled at her.
The construction worker just laughed in her direction as she proceeded to explode out of her uniform as she grew rapidly, passing 20, 30, and 40 foot marks in a few seconds, before reaching her full height of 100 feet.
"Yep, that wasn't a smart idea," Mindy thought to herself.

After Mindy helped clean up the wreckage that Blockhead caused, she proceeded to Yusaka's Gym. Looking at the building, she wasn't sure that Lin gave her the right directions. It didn't look like the other gyms or fitness centers in Angel Falls. It seemed smaller, more understated. But then she found the sign that read "Body by Yusaka" and entered. Looking around, this was definitely not like other gyms. No loud hard rock or Top 40 radio being played. Instead, it was Asian instrumental music. There was a pleasant scent in the air as opposed to the smell of sweat that permeated other places. But this gym had equipment that was equal to, or exceeded, the much larger chains.
Mindy wandered around for a bit before Yusaka stepped out of her office. Mindy couldn't help but stare at the woman coming towards her. She had a musculature that rivaled Olga, Maia, and Lin. Yusaka's beautiful eyes returned the stare, so much so that i
