Chapter 1- The Newcomer
Everything in Windtree Forest was deathly still. The lush forest was usually beautiful, with lush trees and a variety of berry bushes and ferns, though now it seemed to be holding its breath waiting for something to happen. The moon, obscured by dark clouds, made the peaceful environment appear dark and hostile. There were none of the usual noises one would normally hear in a forest; no nocturnal pokémon calls, no wind rustling through the trees nothing.
Beneath a towering oak tree, two terrified pokémon huddled together. One was a small, tan-furred mouse-like pokémon with long, blue ears and a short, oddly shaped tail. It had blue cheeks, each with a thin, tan marking on them. The other was catlike; a purple and white furred pokémon with a long, thin tail which was coiled like a spring. They were a minun and a glameow, both of them exhausted, frightened, and lost. To the youngsters, every shadow looked li

When they reached the entrance of the cavern, Keahi spotted a pink berry and an apple on the ground and ran up to it. "Hey, look!" he cheered happily, picking them up. "I found--" But then, suddenly the ground began to rumble, and the rumbling quickly became more violent. Then suddenly, the ground began to tear open underneath Keahi's feet. He yelped and grabbed on to the ledge before he could fall in, the food dropping into the trench. "Dad! Dad!" he screamed as he struggled to climb back up.The Will To Protect_Part 2 in Fan Fiction More Like This
"Hang on!" Plamen shouted as he grabbed his hand an pulled him up into his arms.
"Watch out!" Nina swiftly leapt up and forcefully kicked away a large boulder that nearly crashed down onto them. But when she landed, they all heard a painful roar. Their eyes all d

All was black in his sight. He was still tired, but felt a groggy breeze. Then, a voice called out.
"Excuse me? Can you hear me?"
The voice got clearer.
Finally, he opened his eyes and stood up. A rich green field stretched out for miles, with trees added to it.
"Oh, you're finally awake! I was getting worried!"
The voice belonged to a small Torchic, the Fire Chick Pokémon.
"It's very nice to meet you! My name's Torchic!"
The boy can hear clearly, but is this Torchic talking, and in English, too?!
"Uh...you're kind of...weird. What's your name?"
"Bobby." he replied.
Torchic giggled. "That's a funny name! It's very nice to meet you around these parts! It's rare for a Bulbasaur such as yourself to be sleeping in a nice part of the Tiny Woods like this!"
Huh? A Bulbasaur?! Bobby ran to a nearby river and looked at his reflection...and gasped in shock.
"I am! I truly am a Bulbasaur! But how can this be?!" Bobby thought in a panic.
"Bobby, calm down, there's nothing to w
