ZAP!! That's all I'm say'n.

O.k. well, not quite. This is another character that was new to me. Here we have the powerful Sith lord oozing with force lightening. Don't stand too close.

You'll see this illustration on the "Jedi Academy" package for the Star Wars Miniatures line.

Mixed media: acrylic, oil colored pencil and wee bits of airbrush

Hey, I get to show some more of my "almost" recent art!

This is another Star Wars piece that was done for the Star Wars Miniatures: Knights of the Old Republic Packaging Art

It was painted with acrylic, colored pencil and a little bit of oil to pop those last final details. The size of the original is 8"x17".

Please check out my blog [link] for the behind-the-scenes info. I've included the sketch, reference images and even a little pic of what the miniature looks like.

So this was yet another Star Wars character that I was unfamiliar with until this assignment came along. I was asked to imbue the admiral with the look of a "confident and brilliant military man. Striking features and red eyes. The pose and body language should reflect that he is emotionally controlled."

Illustrated for the Star Wars miniatures: Imperial Entanglements packaging art.

I used the same mixed media approach, washes of acrylic in the background and oil built up on top for detail and glazed in for color modulation.

...is a headbutt.

This is the first and perhaps only mushy mando piece I've done, and I made it as non-ambiguous as I could. There are still a few things to fix but it's making me sick from mush overdose.

I just wanna state that these two are both consenting adults with all vaccinations up to date.

Note: ;P I'm going to allow prints of this, since people seem to like it so much! (added better light effects)

Well this is another background i made myself today.
It started out with me trying to do a flame effect for another idea i had, but the flames turned out like that and then my mind wnet on auto pilot and this is how it turned out.

The main figure in the middle is Mandalore the Ultimate and the 2 on wither side of him are Mandalore the Indomitable

Well...was bored during break in college today, so i had a play around with my Grand Admiral Thrawn pic [link]

Ok well what i've done is taken away the characters, Made the Star Destroyer mor visible (less transparent), outlined the Imperial logo and then added some lighting effects and a lens flare...oh and the background is meant to have some stars meant to be space.

Im proud of this one i really like it :D

Well started this one at about 11:00 am this morning and finished it at 4:30pm (Sunday Octobre 12th British time)

the idea came to me last night whilst i was shutting down my PC.

Turned out slightly different than what it started out as in my head but all in all im rather pleased with it.

This is a wallpaper dedicated to the Tactical genius Mitth'raw'nuruodo, better known as Grand Admiral Thrawn. It has 2 quotes one from Palpatine and one from Pellaeon.

I think im most pleased about the Star Destroyer, i dunno why, im just pleased with what i did there.

Thanks to Abi [link] for her graphic talk, thanks to Timothy Zahn for creating an amazing character and thanks to George Lucas for creating Star Wars.

This is one of ten pieces I did for the new Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare. I had a blast working on it and I'm excited that I am able to contribute to the Star Wars universe.

I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the book. Hope you guys enjoy them!

Mandalore the Ultimate standing of his Basilisk War Droid rousing his troops; Neo-crusaders made up of humans, taungs(original Mandalorians) and various other alien species. I see this scene taking place just before their all out offensive against the Old Republic which they almost defeated if it wasn't for the intervention of the Jedi under Revan and Malak.

Hi guys! This is a new set of 12 artworks I did for the new Star Wars Essential Reader's Companion. Although the dateline for this book was a lot tighter it nevertheless was an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

As with the last book I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the Reader's Companion. Enjoy!

This was another piece that was done purely for the fans. It's from Force Heretic of the New Jedi Order series and it shows the Jedi Expedition led by Grand Master Luke Skywalker exchanging cordial gestures with former enemy and renown Imperial ace pilot, Baron Soontir Fel. He's one of my favorite EU characters mostly because he's an upstanding Imp and the Empire's equivalent of Alliance ace, Wedge Antilles, whom I love.

Fel here is part of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force but was also formerly a commanding officer in Thrawn's Empire of the Hand before its dissolution....or absorption by the Chiss Ascendancy. The Jedis are on the Chiss homeworld of Csilla and they are on an expedition in search of the mysterious sentient planet, Zonama Sekot, which they believe is the key to defeating the Yuuzhan Vong.

Here we see Grand Admiral Thrawn, deeply contemplating his strategy in navigating the contents of the Imperial Flagship's refrigerator.

"We meet again, mystery Tupperware. While I fear opening you may very well open the gates to the Hell of Fatally Malodorous Leftovers, my curiosity compels me…"

Thrawn was rushed to the infirmary after whiffing what chemists later discovered to be seven year old Gammorian crab salad.

The notorious Boba Fett in the carbon freezing chamber in cloud city one of the coolest scenes in any movie ever. :)

I'm really proud of this one, the colors were done mostly by Samantha Johnson :iconsrj-art: with a few touches here and there by me. We really tried to do some creative things with the lighting and thing it worked out well. We also used a digital inking style that we tried out on the electronic saviors CD art and I think that made this piece look incredibly smooth and clean.

Star Wars Legacy Sith, featuring the deadly duo of Darth Talon and Darth Krayt. I had a lot of fun with this one, especially because I'm a big Star Wars expanded universe fan and I hardly ever get commissions for EU characters so this was a treat. :)

--------------------

Ayden Stone, Mandalorian Supercommando.

Like Gladus Tite, Ayden Stone is one of my Mandalorians OCs (Original Characters) from my SW NJO-era fanfiction series Rage of the Shadow Warriors, and he's some sort of wisecracking allrounder with a bias for old slugthrowers. :D

I'm pretty content on the colors themselves, I might only do another background. This was just a quick one.

I used the awesome custom Mando armor of slavefive from TDH for inspiration for the colorscheme. Here's a shot of his ori'kandosii beskar'gam: [link]

Steps:
1) Sketch by Kuk-Man
2) Inks by me
3) Colors by me
EDIT 10/19/07:
Small revision, a little improved background and a more battle-worn armor.

~ragelion the Great drew this kick-ass lineart of my character Ayden Stone for me, as a free present, so to say.
The least I could do was color it. :blushes: It seems *Kuk-Man's version of Stone impressed him so much. :horns:

Poor Clone Trooper, eh? =P No, Durge is awesome, that's why.

A huuuuuge thanks goes to Jeff for sending me his lineart in hi-res and letting me color that awesome piece of art. It was fun, and I really like how it turned out... actually my personal favorite so far, and that although there's not a single Mando to be seen. =P Also a little thanks to Laubi, who unintentionally helped me to come up with such a great battle-damage.

You really have to check out Jeff's other kick-ass artwork, he does a way better job than any mere colorist ever will. :horns:

His name is Darth Tempest (many thanks to GrindPantera for naming him) this is before than what happened at Three Deadly Siths. Lord Moritus at this point with the help of these two bhs is looking for very powerful and unique beings.

Here he just found a very powerful blind Sith.

Whoever designed the Exogen class needs to seriously.. $#@^@^$@&%$^%$&#*!!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love dark troopers but I HATE THE EXOGEN class. GOD. I really tried my best to pick a flattering angle and make it look good.

Note to designer. Never copy and paste parts. It may work for 2d.. but these tricks never stand up to scrutiny in 3 dimensions..!! Come on!!
