Introducing the Vampire Lestat (part of the halloween collection). This pony was based on the character Lestat de Lioncourt from Anne Rice's fantastic vampire chronicles ([link]).
Lestat has been given sculptured clothing which has been carefully painted to resemble an outfit worn by the character in the film Interview with a Vampire. His jacket has been painted to look like crushed velvet with gold details. His waistcoat has been given tiny gold buttons. I gave Lestat rich gold blond hair like in the movie, however I stuck to the eye colour given to Lestat by Anne Rice and painted them grey, rather than the blue.
This is my first attempt at a G3 twinkle eye pony. her name is Stirling on account of her hair looking like spun Stirling Silver. She has Swarovski crystal Chantons in place of her eyes and a heart made of flat back Swarovski crystals as her symbol. She has been accessorised with fur boots and a fur wrap to match, all with ribbon bows and crystals.
Oh so this is my second, completed My Little Pony Mod. I chose HellBoy as the character to to change the pony to as hes one of my favourite charcaters and i knew it would make a good pony mod.
I used air drying clay to sculpt his right "club" arm and horns, i also scupted his belt by hand and his little gun. I then make a beaded crusafix for his left arm. I hand painted his logo on his hind and sealed it all. I sculpted his tail using fimo and gave it a wire centre for stability....i think thats everything....
Well this is pretty self explanitory. I decided to make a custom pony based on the movie charcater BeetleJuice. Im not very impressed with the finish of the pony although i like the look of it over all. its just not smooth enough for my liking.
Basicly i used acrylic paint to dye the body of the pony , then using black acrylic i painted all the stripes on by hand and the tie etd of his suit. I then did it again in a bright white to highlist stripes and show the clean and dirty parts on his suit as we all know he isnt the cleanest character from the film. I removed his tail completely and hot water styled his hair to stand on end. I then cut it down from its original length and let it dry on end. I used acrylic paint to do his eyes and green mould on his face and in his hair. I also added black dirt to his hair before sealing it all with a glue based product that drys clear and flexible.
I love the star wars movies and love Yoda as well.
Thought he would make the most awesome pony custom and I was right.
He came out better than I expected though. At first I wasn't sure how well Yoda would transfer into a pony but I always love challenges and he was so much fun to make.
He also won 3rd place at the custom contest for the Cincy Ohio Pony Meet.
Hi all, just wanted to show of this new pony, I'm sorry about the pics they are not that great as I have lost my super amazing camera some where but I really wanted =charligal to see them as she has been waiting for such a LONG time, sorry sweetie. Anyhow, =charligal wanted me to make her a commission of her design [link] the crown I took from this version: [link] This was the first time for me making a full sculpted dress and must say I really love how she has turned out and how amazed I was to find how steady my hands are for painting on those lines The dress is made from apoxie sculpt including her crown which was the hardest and most fragile of her outfit! All painted in Acrylics and she has one green and one blue eye as per request, the eyes are painted in the normal style as I wanted it to look crisp to go with the dress design, also she has a heart in each eye. I will take better pics when I find my camera. what do you all think? love laura x
