"Wanting of time"
Hollow the words that fill my day,
as wasted footsteps fall my path.
Visions lost in this time racked trail,
that even the sun shall find no light.
Like a dry leaf I am blown,
remembering a time that never came.
Only in false reminiscence,
does smile false my face,
as death creeps closer at the advent of life.
Young I am, yet doomed by time,
to fail in the end, and squander in doubt.
Alone we are born, and alone we fall,
Hence between, in love,
the goddess of life graces our moment,
so that our picture frame fragment of eternity,
might find a space in the minds of those to come.
