Well, this really didn't take long to finish. Inspiration came from one of +liquisoft's pieces...you'll see...um, i found some pics of giraffes and elephants...I pen-tooled em...found a pic of a tree and used it...it's really just a mesh of stuff I found...i like the sunset...it's what really makes this piece "african"...btw Tarajika means hope/faith
Well, as my first piece since returning, I think this is quite necessary...Here's a samurai, and if you notice the tree, you'll see a shuriken stuck in the tree. I know samurais dont use shurikens but i thot it was a nice touch
The idea original but its just a kind of test of my photoshop skills. I actually really like it and am using it for my wallpaper atm Thanks to the peoples who made the cloud and tree and grass brushes.
If you want to know how to made this, then read ahead. Below I commented on each part of it: music composing, character animation, and AS3 programming. If not, then thanks for coming by! ^__^
I have spent the last 4 days making this music in the key of "C" at 85 bpm, with a classic 4 instruments setup (solo + rhythm guitars, drums, bass). It was supposed to be Blues, but I then turned on the metal pedals and it became this "blueish-metal" kinda thing. It's a complicated solo, going slow and fast, and slow, and then ultra-fast. I think in the end there is still some Blues left in it.
I created this animation mainly because I had this new music to post - but then I realized the animation is a CPU-killer and might not play on slower computers. So I took the opportunity to try out making this my very 1st *hardware* accelerated Flash animation, but it will only work if you have a video card that supports GPU acceleration. Mine is a nVidia 8800GT and it plays using nearly zero CPU even in full screen. I then took it to a slower computer with an old video card and CPU usage went up to 80%, but still playable. Let me know if it drags in your computer. GPU acceleration is still a new thing to most of us. ^__^
The animation was made in DAZ Studio using the AniMate plugin, and then exported to mocap file, imported into Poser, applied to V4 and edited/rendered there, I rendered with *very* low quality (no AA) so I didn't have to wait the whole day for it to finish.
When the music was composed and equalized, and when the animation was finally finished, I put it all together with ActionScript3 programming in Flash CS4. I modified my personal music player a bit for some different looks. That's when I noticed the animation was not looping well and I had to do it all over again. You might notice her feet slide a bit at the beginning and end of the animation, but that can't be helped because she doesn't start and end at the same place. ^^
Figure is V4, music my me. Hope you like it and thanks for coming by!
This is the Blues music track I wanted to make for my last deviation, which somehow ended up in rock. Sometimes Blues and Rock are so close to each other that it's easy to switch from one to the other. Instruments are the drums, acoustic bass, lead and rhythm guitars, keyboard, with extra solo in harmonica.
Figure is V4. "Gimme da Blues" music track, characters, graphic art, music player, and AS3 programming by me. Final arrangement done in Flash CS4. Hope you like it and thanks for coming by!
**WARNING** Watch your volume - hard rock coming up! You have been warned!!!
OMG, I am gonna get to 100,000 page hits at some point!! I already understood my personal taste for jazz & blues ain't gonna catch because only a few like that kinda music. Some asked me to make something more hardcore, so here it goes! Keep in mind this is an all-in-one AS3 programming, music composition and picture creation deviation.
This 40 seconds arrangement came out slightly discoordinated and the solo lost some notes in the middle, but oh well - this is my first music at 165 BPM - I prefer slower. This is a 5 tracks music in the key of "C" with the classic 5 instruments arrangement: solo and rhythm guitars, bass, drums and keyboard. In my previous song I was using my guitar pedals to buff up a ballad tune, but here they are going for what they were meant for. The solo is medium speed, and I can try something faster next time depending on the feedback for this one.
As a bonus you also get the rocking bunny girl! I am reusing the 2-channels music player I created [from scratch] for my gallery. Note I am playing music with my player *sideways* and it still works so fine - gotta love ActionScript3!!!
Figure is V4. All As3 programming, graphics, rendering, and music by me! Hope you like it and thanks for coming by!

This wallpaper matches Arkanus CursorXP by ~jalentorn. Since I liked his skin so much I decided to make a wallpaper for it. But please be kind, it is my very first wallpaper in such constructed design! Helpful comments are very welcome!
In the download file there is the 1600x1200 sized version.
Josep, it's for you! I hope you like it!
Edit: I made some little changings in the center part after some of you pointed out some imperfections.
