What happened to you? Yumi called out.
Ive made some new friends, Dominic began, XANA has shown me the error of my ways. Joining your team was nothing but a gateway to the better side, the darker side.
He clenches his fists tightly.
Is it just me or is this starting to sound more and more like Space Wars? Odd scratched his head.
How could she let this happen? Aelita felt like this was her fault, and technically it was. If she hadnt insisted on letting Dominic join the group, than she wouldnt be arguing
Why am I even wasting my time explaining this to you? he asked himself. My new friend and I have business to take care of, starting with taking out the last defense Earth has.
Im not going to let you do that, Dominic, Aelita refused. You have to see that what youre doing is wrong. XANA isnt your friend.

THE HIDDEN FILE
It was dark. At a demolition site not far from Kadic, workers were getting ready to wrap up their job for the night. Tearing down a worn-down building in the sweltering heat was not an ideal working condition. Drinking the rest of the water from his canteen, a rugged male gulped down what remained of his beverage and tossed the bottle aside.
Another day, the man grunted, wiping his mouth, another long, wasted day.
Another younger fellow came up to him, removing his hard hat and wiping his forehead dry of perspiration.
How much longer do you think itll take the finish the job? asked the younger fellow.
Not sure, asked the older man, at this rate, wont be done until Christmas.
Heading towards their vehicles, a street light not far from the site began to go haywire, sparks flying everywhere. Suddenly, from the bulb came a thick, black smoke, spiraling down the metal pole and onto

The sun was high on a Sunday morn, the birds chirping happily as they traveled the vast blue skies with careless flight. The campus of Kadic was buzzing with excitement kids running around happily, others listening to their music, and some just out to enjoy the beauty that is nature.
In the Girls Dormitory, Aelita was resting underneath silk blankets, looking through squinted eyes at the sunlight that brushed past her curtains and shown on her bedroom door. She sat up and yawned, stretching as she swung her legs over the side of her bed. Resting her feet on the plush carpet, she looked out the window at the naturally blue sky. She never once, while being trapped on Lyoko, imagined that she would see the skies of Earth again. After her father was lost, she thought shed never escape her virtual prison, forever being a puppet in XANAs plans. This wasnt the first time she had remembered her fears and worries before being discov

EVIL NEVER QUITS
Aelita laid motionless, silent, surrounded by this sea of white. She didnt know if she was lying on the ground or suspended in the air, but either way she felt weightless, like she didnt exist. Her mind was racing as she tried to piece together just where she was at this time. There was no noise, no movement, no sign of life anywhere near her. Maybe they had lost? Maybe this is what it felt like to be deadalone and cold. She could hear her heart beating in her chestor was it just the memory of her heartbeat that pounded in her ears? She knew she was supposed to have a heart beat, so perhaps it was the memory of which giving her a sense of being, a sense of living. Her eyes had been sealed shut for some time, mainly because she was afraid of what she might find were she to open her eyes but also partly due to the fact that she felt comforted by the darkness insider her own head. There hadnt been a tear that escaped her

CHANGE OF HEART
It was a warm Tuesday morning at Kadic, children running back and forth from class as to prepare for finals the next day. The clouds loomed overhead, shedding an ominous feeling onto the campus.
Class had gone by slowly for Jeremy. Ever since he woke up, he was anxiously awaiting a chance to sneak away from reality and hide in the darkened laboratory where he would work to figure out the origins of the mysterious protocol and what secrets it holds.
After Geometry, Jeremy had gone into his dorm room to drop off his books before leaving for the factory. On his way out of the room, he came across Aelita. What was she doing in the Boys Dormitories?
Aelita? he called to her.
Hey, Jeremy, she smiled.
They walked closer and stood facing one another for a few minutes until Aelita broke the silence.
Dominic told me about what you said to him last night, Aelita mumbled.
Not good. Jeremy knew what he was getting himself
