Software used Vue6. I am re-rendering this one at more than twice the size and more effects to make it sharper. It should be out in a day or so. Orginal on first render 1440 x 900 at 72dpi re-render will be at 2500 x 1590 600dpi.

Just a quick rough draft before the final version that should be completed soon. I did not add any ships signs or city or light effects. Just a few lights here and there on the buildings. Render time was about 20 mins and about 30 mins in photoshop.

Nothing fancy just a Halo inspired speed painting which I did to test out some livestreaming, I recorded it and managed to get it up onto Youtube sadly for some reason it was widescreen but when it saved, a process taking over an hour, it ignored the aspect ratio settings, very annoying so I edited the preview image as well.

You can view the 1:30 something minute video here: [link]

This was just a test so nothing special but I intend to make more at a later date.

Enjoy

So the new Luminarium Pack is out after some rather large set backs, but now you can all go and look at the amazing work that has been done for the new pack. There was no theme this time so we could do what we wanted.

So here is my first submission from the pack Majolnir's Might, depicting a scene from my own personal project based around a civil war between to human factions, this shows the Paragons latest tool of destruction, a huge dreadnought ship capable of single handedly laying waste to entire fleets and even planets. This scene shows the defending Librian fleet trying to suppress the approaching Paragon fleet..... Rather unsuccessfully I might add.

Enjoy

A giant glowing orb hovers silently at the core of an alien Dyson sphere, at each of it's poles an array of massive spires seemingly hold the orb in place. What is the orb for and why was an artificial planet built around it? Or was it created there.
The artificial planet holds many mysteries, I wonder where that sun light is coming from, lets go find out.

Inspired by Halo 4 and my own series Telikos Protocol, I have always loved monolithic structures that seemingly go on forever and their simple geometric shape only adds to their scale. I will be doing some more paintings based on this "planet" one being how that sun is generated. Should be interesting.

Enjoy :ahoy:
