Based on another KidRobot toy. I had forgotten exactly what he looked like at the time, so there are some inaccurate parts. It's not as neat as the other one either.
The bottom of the skateboard doesn't look like a real skateboard, it just has wheels. The bars would block the "Disney" anyways.
Well...there is a huge story behind him. and I don't feel like explaining it right now so..if you wanna know note me...if you don't I don't really care. >_> I was hesitating whether to finish this one or not. And I did. >_> Hope you like it.
One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my Spirituality.... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me. "Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
"In the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But, I did not quit on the bamboo.
"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. Still I would not quit. The same in year four.
"Then in the fifth year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern, it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just six months later, the bamboo rose to over one hundred feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave the bamboo what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.
"Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots? I would not quit on the bamboo. And I will never quit on you.
"Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful.
"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest realizing that God will never give up on me. And He will never give up on you, either. Never regret a day of your life. Good days give you happiness; bad days give you experiences; both are essential to life.
The author of "The Fern and the Bamboo" is unknown to me. This came in via email about 3 months ago. No pictures, no credits. Just text ridden with little arrows that look like this: ">" If anyone knows who the author is please let me know so that I may give credit where it is due.
This is a sketch and inked version of Team Chaotix (without Knuckles X3;; ^^).
It was requested by a guy named Magnus. He takes great interest in Sonic the Hedgehog and loves the Chaotix. His favourite character is Mighty. ^_~
For now I've been told to draw this. It is half of what I've been told to do because I've still got the Floating/Angel Island to do for a background. What do you guys think of the slightly modified designs? ^^
Also feel free to use the inked version as practice for colouring. ^_~ If you wish for a larger version for easier colouring don't hesitate to note me and I'll send you a larger file.
just a wee mouselady moment doodle, i'd forgotten about this and i found it again and i thought i might post it while the postings good! This is sopposed to be a version of our beloved (if you don't like it mouselady i'll take it down ok?)
Was playing around more with colouring and using the photoshop layer system to my full advantage. I'm actually quite enjoying this Tee hee
This piece is defining the importance between my protagonist character and the antagonist character. As with many animes I've seen, mine is no different in the aspect that it has an interesting element: Rivals. When one guy/girl might be the goodiest good character in all the world, his equal is the opposite. Bad to the bone, not-so goody good, but perhaps equal in terms of power or skills. Both striving for one goal and only one may have it.
Dave the Fox is naturally no fighter or anything special so he believes. Naturally, over time he would come to find out he would play a big role in the fate of his world for the days to come. His journey would bring him into conflict with the Wolf Mercenary, said to be considered the greatest Wolf warrior in the known world. But the Wolf would consider Dave with little more then a glance to that of a wringling worm. Be it fate or just bad luck the two would meet in battle and their strength would be tested to the limits. David would be unable to win as his skills would be little to none compared to the Wolf.
But somehow...someway...beyond anyones imagintion...the Wolf is beaten.
And thus the Wolf is bound by his own pride and warrior instincts to defeat Dave once again. His Wolf pride is cut down by the fact he was beaten by a low-life fox cub from a rural town. And so a rivalry is born.
The way I did this drawing was also intended as if it could be a comic cover. Perhaps when I get round to it, the series I have been working on will flow into a comic strip, before leaping onto the tv screen. We'll see.
I created this after I had been listening to the song "Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me)" by Simple Plan.
Seems only in the last few months, I have really put some thought into the story behind the Wolf we all know and love. He's bitter, he's angry, he's out to be the best there is. But there's more than just his nasty outer disposition. There's heaps more inside that burns away at him.
Just like the previous picture of the Wolf looking bruised, this one also adds to that after period of his conflict with his tribe. His pride was broken, his name was stripped bare and he was cast out like a nobody. He had family and now he has none. He is alone and lost in a world where he is known as nothing more than a Wolf Mercenarty.
And so he sits there, beaten, drenched in rain, looking up into the empty sky, whispering silently, "Why?".
Perhaps it is one of the rarest moments that we see the Wolf show something else besides anger and determination. He's a Wolf with inner turmoil that he tried to hide and suppress with his own rage and strength. But sometimes, just sometimes, it's just too hard to bare.
He's dark, brooding and very illtempered. But he's not evil.
Yes...they destroyed the whole city....it's epic...it happens...
Ben's all glowy cuz...well IDK. I just felt like giving him epicness XD

Disaster strikes when the fabled blue fox of one universe suddenly comes crashing into another (all done with cool airbrushing I might add ). And what happens? He makes a big deal out of it. When David meets Caboodles!
This drawing was made to say Happy Birthday to Caboodles/Katherine on her special day. I may be a tad bit late, but as I've come to learn, the party never ends until the last present is given. So, enjoy and good wishes
Coming next, when the Wolf Mercenary takes on midgets!! Be there at eight!
