The Gomodo titan is the top of the food chain within the jungles of Ceran. Not due to engineering, not due to cunning,But due to sheer size and strength.
As adaptable as Ceranids are to their environment, in small numbers they are still nothing more than food to these looming monsters. crouched down The average gomodo is about 25 feet at the shoulder. It's eight foot mouth is filled with sharp ten inch teeth, it's primary weapon against prey.
It poses a larger threat due to it's long muscular arms ,and it's ability to grasp with it's oposable thumbs , much as an ape would. While It is unable to climb even the targets of Cerans trees, it is capable of pulling down the hiding places of many of it's arboreal fauna
Titan's only give birth once every ten years or so, If a male is capable of mounting a female without being killed she will most likely give birth to a litter of two to four pups.they will ride on her back during he hunt, gripping to the leathery shingles on her back, or the feathery quills of her mane. they will partake in her kills for about five years,in which the mother will drive them out of her territory Males will become increasingly violent towards each other and will most likely end up fighting to the death before they leave their mother. Even at a young age Gomodo young still pose an adequate threat, small enough to climb the trees somewhat, they can actively pursue a ceranid ,almost to the upper canopy
Despite their dominance of the forest, these looming beasts are far from invincible, wounds have been seen on older specimens believe to be caused by some of the larger more defensive herbivores, and It has been noted as a high custom amongst the leaf tail tribes that an Alpha who is capable of landing the killing blow on a titan is deemed the high chieftain of the entire Jungle
These were inspired years ago by an ad in a game magazine for a miniature game called VOR
I honestly know nothing about it beyond that ad, I kind of wish I did
