Just random thinking. I bet he has a past blog entry that looks something like this. *laughs* DONE WITHOUT REFERENCE so don't get me on details, people. Please.
And apparently, good old Morning Star Villain Academy has a University too.
A QUICK doodle with QUICK QUICK coloring done inbetween commissions. I finally finished up with that HUGE one yesterday, so I'm finally getting a move onto the rest (I'M SO SORRY EVERYONE WHO'S WAITING). I finished three commissions yesterday. Imma say that's progress. And I plan on finishing one today. Going to try and go back to my usual pattern of one commission every two days.
Anyway, YAY Dr. Horrible, and it's in black and white cuz I'm saving all my coloring skills for this commish. *laughs*
I FINALLY caught onto the amazingness that is Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It...yes. Amazing. I'm a diehard Joss Whedon fan, not to mention obsessed with musical theatre, so perhaps I'm biased, but...
Oh God. If you haven't seen it, you MUST.
*fiercely glomps Dr. Horrible and his PhD in Horribleness*
Alright, I've been thinking about adding some designs to my existing Dr. Horrible 1" button set for awhile now, but I'm really really really lazy.
Anyway, EVERYONE asked about "Do you have 'the hammer is my penis'" so of course that made it into this round. Actually, the image is the word 'penis' in peach and then mosaic blurred in Photoshop... it just happens to look like one, that was totally accidental but also funny.
Obviously "HE'S BAD!" is a Bad Horse reference, because I didn't think anyone would get a Dead Bowie button.
"Except for the pope car, I lied about that" is from the song "Better Than Neil" from the DVD commentary (you can youtube it.)
The "Here to stay" one is from the clip they showed at the Emmys, where NPH was the host. You can youtube that one, too.
Now they no longer follow the rules of the Living, the Undead are always that little bit stronger.
Before Joss Whedon officially confirmed an Act Four for Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog at Comic Con, Felicia Day (Penny) agreed with an interviewer that there HAS to be a sequel and went on to muse that when it comes to sci-fi/fantasy being dead doesn't always mean that your character will never be seen again.... which then led me to think this.
I just did this for fun but, God help me, if I don't kinda want this to happen!
Edit Feb '09: Okay, Nathan Fillion has confirmed both he and Joss Whedon really want to do a sequel and have been brainstorming ideas but it could still be quite a while before any filming actually takes place as Joss also wants to take care of "Dollhouse" and Nathan himself is filming a tv show so don't any one get too excited. It could be years before Act 4 turns up yet in whatever form it will take!
Billy: I just think I'm really qualified for this job, but I can't seem to get my foot in the door... Penny: I'm sure you will. Bill: I wanna do great things, you know? I wanna be an achiever...like Bad Horse. Penny: ...The Thoroughbred of Sin? Bill: ...I meant Gandhi. o_o
