" Yes?" she asked.
"Can you please, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, stop leaving your undergarments on the floor?!" he asked sternly but with that little hint of calmness in his voice. Clary snickered and just laughed as Jace was motioning to her blue, sequined bra that was sitting on his forefinger; then suddenly Isabelle walked in.
"Hey Jace, I was wo----"her eyes went wide as they saw the bra in Jace's hand," okay just because you two have sex every other night doesn't mean you can fling Clary's lingerie everywhere Jace." Jace looked flustered then gave Clary a glare that bore through her as she turned pink.

Waiting for someone to come.
That's when he shows up
It's like she's finally seeing the sun
To look into those bright gold eyes
And know that he's hers.
She greets him with a kiss
Which he returns
That's when the fire explodes
Burning passion into each other.
She's found the one
Her perfect match
The one she will spend the rest of her life with
But he's found her too
His little angel
Together they shine brighter then the sun
For two angels are better than one.

Despite everything, I can't fear the thought of this ring being lost forever, any more than I can bear the thought of leaving you forever. And though I have no choice about the one, at least I can choose about the other. I'm leaving you our family ring because you have as much right to it as I do.
I'm writing this watching the sun come up. You're asleep, dreams moving behind your restless eyelids. I wish I knew what you were thinking. I wish I could slip into your head and see the world as you do. I wish I could see myself the way you do. But maybe I don't to see that. Maybe it would make me feel ever more than I already do that I'm perpetrating some kind of Great Lie on you, and I couldn't stand that.
I belong to you, you could do anything you wanted with me and I would let you. You could ask anything of me and I'd break myself trying to make you happ
The Infernal Instruments Just the thought of hiding made me sick. Why would someone hide from what we do; not someone of my profession. Oh, never. Maybe Lacey wanted to hide, but she was new to this and I was training her. I don't know why I was stuck with her, she annoyed me, and honestly, she seemed as though she didn't want to be a shadowhunter. The Infernal Instruments3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Running down the steps, I chased the Croucher Demon towards the brewery. I grabbed the railing with one hand and jumped over it, landing lightly on my feet. When I looked behind me, I saw nothing of Lacey. Grinding my teeth and slowing my pace, I called out to her. "God, Lacey; hurry up!"
"Coming, I'm coming," I heard from behind a building as I saw her come running up, her beach blonde hair obvious in the night.
"Keep pace with me or I'll leave you behind!" I yelled, quickening my pace.
I saw the demon; it had slowed down and was now wandering around on the sidewalk, unnoticed

The curfew was 9:00 p.m. and every one had to be in their rooms by 9:30. My shift started around nine. I usually had to patrol until about 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning. I was lucky if I was able to go to sleep at midnight. But since hardly anyone else was a guard, I had to work all the shifts.
Normally, guards and prefects are chosen in the first year. They are watched for honesty, sense of righteousness, and basic overall moving, dodging, fighting skill, since it is sometimes needed. In the second year, the prefects are told about their new position and they begin right away. Guards are also told, but they must go through half a years worth of training before they are allowed out at night, even with an experienced guard.

I felt Alec's head tilt upward and his fingers tangle in my hair, deepening the kiss that I wished would last forever. But that's how I felt every time we kissed. Every time I woke up under my canary yellow sheets and Alec was lying right there next to me. Every time he bore his beautiful, sapphire eyes into my demonic, slit-pupil ones. Just then, Mayrse barged into Alec's room.
Yes we were in his room instead of my flat. It was storming pretty hard in Brooklyn at the moment, so I just decided to portal over to the Institute rather than Alec getting soaked coming to me. Not that a dripping wet Alec was all that bad

Why the hell does my back hurt? I massage my shoulders to make the tightness go away, but the pain doesn't disappear. Charity and Lucas talk to each other like normally. Lucas had just gotten over his illness from yesterday that required him to leave the school as well as Charity going with him to take care of him.
Maybe I'm catching the same thing Lucas got. Feeling sick and my body is sore. That and I've been sweating more than usual today. Maybe I'm coming down with a nasty cold.
My sister, Harmony studies my movement and facial expression. I can tell she notices something is wrong with me. She and I hardly ever get sick. Not sure if it was because she and I aren't fully human and our angelic genes makes our bodies stronger when it comes to fighting illness. It could be that. The look Harmony is giving me is worry.

I looked up from where I was flying in the sky. Over Colorado. I missed living here, but I was going to get the chance to live here again, at least for a while. Maybe just until someone sends us another pizza bomb. I was living with my mother, Valencia Martinez.
"Max, did you here something?" Fang asked. He looked nervous.
"No. Iggy, did you?"
"Did I what?" he asked, annoyed.
"Did you hear anything?" I asked, unable to keep curiosity out of my voice. Iggy may have been blind, but he had the best hearing out of anyone in the flock.

Her opponent, a tall, curly haired boy, grinned back at her. "You're on."
The girl smirked and dusted her hands off on her denim shorts before grabbing her bo staff and jumping to her feet once more in a defensive stance. She bounced on the balls of her feet as she waited out for the first blow. She knew his way well.
And just as to be expected, he bought down his baton with a blow that would knock anyone to the ground if they had not been expecting it. She met his staff with her own however, deflecting the hit, faking a right and then bringing her staff across the small of his back while he went to block the fake blow, flipping him face first onto the worn area floor.
She leaned against her staff with a rather smug look on her face. "I win," she said, looking at her nails. Next thing she knew he swept his staff beneath her feet, leaving her to fall flat on her back.

'What over a stupid top? No let's get the authorities they'll know what to do.' He said in his usual sarcastic voice.
I slapped his arm. 'Shut up.'
I turned back to the tug-of war between Izzy and the other girl, she was pale and by the looks of it very strong.
Then there was a tremendous ripping sound.
Both girls had the same shocked expression in their eyes which soon turned to anger.
'Now look what you've done!' Izzy screamed.

Yep, thats how they run things here. Normally they would give the guards shifts and everything, but seeing as Im the only one here, I have to cover all the ground, which takes some time, I replied.
How are you still able to walk during the day?
I laughed. Its not as bad as you might think. I have a few friends I still need to catch up with and talk to at the other dorms, and this gives me the chance to, I said, shrugging my shoulders. Besides, I like it out at night. I mean no ones around and the sky is lit with all the stars and the moon. . .
How come they havent gotten another guard? James asked me.

Watching for demons
Their arms marked with runes
One a young man
His golden hair
Nex to him

Pushed back by the breeze
They stand watch
As the mahem starts
Shadows envelop them
A boy looks up from his window
Sees these two figures
Suddenly the blond one jumps
Holding the girl

Seventy feet down
The boy blinks
He looks down
Into the shadows
But no one's there
For these are the Nephelin

Who just saved the boy's life

As time went on, though, there was a soft sound, slowly growing louder and more obnoxious. It became shriller and shriller until the sound of my alarm going off broke me out of my sleep.
Not expecting it to go off just yet, I threw my upper body out of the bed, my hand reaching out like someone had grabbed me and pulled me up. My hand reached along the bedside table, slamming down as hard as I could when I found the sleep button on the alarm. I still hadnt opened my eyes yet.
The shrieking suddenly stopped, leaving a slight ring in my ears. I slowly fell back down into my bed, pulling the black down comforter back over my shoulder. I settled my head into the pillow, sighing with contentment at its warmth.
Just as I began to dance on the line of sleep and consciousness, my alarm shrieked again. This time my eyes flew open as my fist slammed down on it in anger.

Sorely missed will be your heart,
For it held light pure and true.
Your nimble power and lithe grace
Now lies still with the earth.

Forgotten you shall not be.
