Kushala Daora Ecology
Kushala Daora Ecology
The land of Minegarde is stuck with gales and storms not produced by nature, but from a dragon. Blizzards strike its cold hands across the frozen mountain while the tempests howl through the jungle. Great ice crystals left by the gaze scatter the snowy plain. A metallic glaze flashes through the lands delivering with it devastating gales. The cold-hearted beast freezes its quarry with the breath of winter and blows away its enemies with a wind stronger than any storm. Leaving behind its age, it leaves a memory of the wonder and mystery it carries with it. The legendary Dragon of the Wind, Kushala Daora.
Basic information: The Kushala Daora is the Elder Dragon of the Wind. They inhabit the snowy mountain near Pokke and the jungle, where there is a lot of moisture. They hunt using the special mechanism of their bodies they can expel bursts or air, or in some case ice. If they live a normal life, they can live for up to 50 years.

The Battle of Yin and Yang</i>
Salutation, the name is Xglide, felyne scribe, nya nya. Ever since the day I saw the fight between the rathalos and the tigrex in the mountain, Ive been interested in these wyvern fights, and even more interested with writing Monster Ecologies. I still have the scales from the rathalos/ tigrex [depending on the ending you chose], nya. Anyways, this story is about another fight, the battle of Ying and Yang, wyvern and dragon, fire and ice, earth and sky, meow. The picture above was drawn by a good friend of mine, a melynx artist Terekjet, who also drew a picture for the rathalos and tigrex fight I mentioned earlier, nya nya. For the concernment of others, I was not hurt just shaken by the fact that I have seen this epic battle, meow. This battle occurred in the afternoon and lasted for quite a while, nya. And thus the story begins.
After having written down the ecology of the

Salutations, I am Xglide, felyne scribe, meow. I journey the terrains of Minegarde in search of stories written by nature, nya. Many of these call to me, my most recent one has taken me to three places, none of which I am at now, nya nya. I am in a land charred with what looks like claws, not by fire but by lightning, the ground burned by acid, and the pools seeping with poison, mya. I talk of the swamp, purr. But similar signs have spoken to me from the mountains, though its snow muffled most of the cries, nya. In its own darkness it relies on its sense of small to live, nya. The cry of the Blind Wyvern, the Blind Lightning, the Khezu, calls to me, purr.
Basic Information: Khezu are wyverns of the dark, blind. They live in their own darkness. Mostly inhabiting the jungle near Kokoto, the snowy mountains near Pokke, and in swamps, they rely on their powerful nose for survival. Called the Blind Lightning, they can defend and attack themselves

All throughout Minegarde, a faint white glow passes through the mist. Clear skies turn cloudy, striking thunder and lightning without a single drop of rain. The streak of white that flashes throughout the lands are seen in more places than one, in the blistering heat of the desert, the molten heat of the volcano, the moist, rainy jungles, or the silent swamp. The phantom beast, wanders the land, with its prideful gazes at his own glamour. And with its passes rumor of the Phantom Beast, the Kirin.
Basic info: The Kirin is an elder dragon. No, it is not a dragon itself. To refresh your memories, a species of monster will be classified as an elder dragon, when they are rare and hard to find and therefore, hard to research. So as it states, there arent many Kirins in Minegarde, and the few that do live in Minegarde are hard to track.
Where: Kirins can stay in places of extreme heat, such as the desert, or in places of extreme cold as the Pokke Mountains,

Barioth Vs. Gigi
Out of all the battles I have witnessed, this battle has been, so far, the most profound and ridiculous. It is a battle which happened in the caves of the snowy mountains near the Moga coast, a battle of epic proportions. The picture above was painted by a hunter by the name of Segago, who was laughing the most out of my audience to whom I told this battle to. And so the "battle" begins.
I was studying the caves of the snowy mountain. More specifically, I was checking their mineral composition as well as the Acid/Base level found on the surface of the wall. Of course, in caves like these, Gigginox like to lay their eggs. The gigis were around alright but all I needed to do was throw a slab of meat somewhere and off they go; I wasn't being bothered at all yet. I had thrown the meat where I lit one of the lanterns so I could see where they all were.
Apparently, one was o
