If you've been following my work you may know I've drawn, and am in the process of drawing, all generations of Pokemon. You may also know that from the second generation on, I've been drawing them quite inebriated :icondrunkplz: This leads them to be crude, messy, and instead of acting as standalone pokemon comics they become insights into the mind of a drunk artist.
That brings us to the new project I would like to invite all artists to join, as long as they are above the legal drinking age of their country of residence: DRUNK POKEMONS :icondrinkplz: :iconohhellyeahplz:
1. You get drunk
2. You draw/paint/sculpt a new, non-existing Pokemon (or a "Fakemon" for short)
3. Another (drunk) person takes your Fakemon and gives it a name and type (other details optional)
4. Another (drunk) person takes this Fakemon and draws its evolution, including it's name and type
5. repeat

Shooting your first wedding? If you are known at all as any kind of photographer by your friends, eventually you'll be asked to shoot a wedding (even if your usual specialty is unrelated-- for instance, medical x-rays). I've only shot a few, and am not very good at it (people with clothes are hard to pose!), but here's a few thoughts (and there are many and better pieces of advice to be had from more experienced wedding photographers, so ask the experts!).Shooting your first wedding?1 year ago in Personal More Like This
My first suggestion is not to do it. It's not worth the tiny amount of money they think you should be paid, and it could easily ruin your friendship.
Or if you must, to shoot a few friends' weddings for free (with some other paid photographer handling the real stress- and don't get in their way or shoot over their shoulder!) until you have some experience. Or shoot a wedding for friends who can't afford a pro and will have nothing but "relative snaps" without your help. A few points:
1. Churches are terrible to shoot in--often too big for flashes to work, and so

So, if there is something you like, you can have it, but please let me know. Any way, I can't do anything about it.

Dear DA
I can not understand
why you are so tolerant when it comes to
violence
blood
sadism
cutting carcases into pieces
violent humiliation
blasphemy
etc.
Mostly it is women that go beyond.
But if people
show everyday
normal sexual behaviour
your tolerance falls below 0 point.
I do not mind either way
but why this absurd discrimination?
Why?
Explain it to me
I would so like to be able to understand it
Explain it to me
I would so like to be smarter
The Fairy Tale, A Lifelong ResonanceA thousand years tradition of scaring children at bedtime continues for children of all ages. News of the discovery of 500 “new” fairy tales collected over 150 years ago [link] in Germany and locked away in a forgotten archive has me thinking about the enduring importance of these narrative treasures in the lives of human societies worldwide. Illustrator Need For Paying Comic Book ProjectLooking for an illustrator for a comic book series that I'm writing called "Night Wolf." So far I have 12 issues written. An artist who can do both illustration and coloring would be preferred, but is not required.Illustrator Need For Paying Comic Book Project5 months ago in Personal More Like This
"Night Wolf" is about a teenager who on his 18th birthday discovers that he was born a werewolf and is reluctantly thrown into a supernatural war between good and evil.
This is a start-up project so I don't have much money, but I do have $2,100 that I can pay for character designs, a Cover and 24 pages for the fist issue.
Once the character designs are finalized, and have some solid sequential artwork I plan to submit a proposal to kickstarter.com and indiegogo.com to get additional funding for the project, publishing, advertising, distribution, etc.
Compensation for future issues is negotiable. Payment can continue to be work on a commission basis, or we can discuss payment based on a percentage of the profit from sales from the title(s) worked on.

It amazes me that in 2012 there are still so many people offended by nudity. I find it staggering on a regular basis that a tasteful image of a gorgeous woman could cause the offence that it often does. I don't want to have too big a rant on this subject as I don't think I would ever be able to change the mind of someone who finds nudity offensive anyway. People rarely change or even modify their beliefs and to be honest, I don't care what people think anyway. I have two points to make and I don't want to cloud them with an excessive amount of collateral rantings
*Nudity vs Violence*
Some time ago on dA I looked at a group with the intention of joining and one of the stated submission rules was "violent images are fine but no nudity under any circumstances"
Now tell me how that is even vaguely rational ?
A piece of digital art or photo where someone is killing a person with a sledge hammer is fine as long
Meeting Weird Al!Last night I got one of the thrills of my life when I got to meet Weird Al Yankovic backstage after his show here in Minneapolis! I've been an Al fan since I first heard the "Weird Al" In 3-D album in 1984 and I've been a big fan ever since. I only have two artists' full libraries on my iPhone, The Beatles and Al. So yeah, I'm a fan.Meeting Weird Al!1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Not only did I get to see him perform live (my fifth time seeing him), but I got to give him and his drummer Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz copies of my "Meeting Al" piece:
Both Al and Jon were awesome and I can't thank them enough for allowing me and my friend Natalie to meet them. I want to say a special thanks to Jon, who could not have been kinder or friendlier, for responding to Natalie's e-mail about possibly meeting the king of parody. Jon suprised me by saying "he doesn't know you're here, he's gonna love this". I was really honored to be able to give them both print copies of my piece.
Just before Jon snapped a photo of the three of us Al
CommentsPlease only add constructive comments. The models are not whores. Just because a model shows her genital area, she is not a whore. The images presented in my portfolio, general represent the whole women.Comments1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I believe in showing the models face. It is the expressions, I am looking for. I do not like strict posing. You can see that in thousands of images on this site. I do like girl next door shots. The model always has fun in my shoots.
If the model wants to represent herself, in a more mature manner, I will go there. We are adults. The relationship between model and photographer is a business one. It is all fantasy. So, just sit back and relax.

Willow-San is a french artist who's art style caught my attention... umm ok I gota be honest, I saw a pikachu and I clicked on her profile :iconmingplz: (I CANNOT RESIST A PIKACHU OK) BUT what I discovered was a whole new universe of art perfection, in the world of the great and mighty Willow-San with pretty vibrant colors and amazing line work and comedy gold humour! And a f*ckin Pikachu
I especially like how she draws faces, they are so full of energy and the shading is top notch. Seriously this gurl has got so much talent, n

One day, *humon was surfing the internet.
She was just looking at her favorite pages when all of a sudden a new tab opened up.
She was confused, since she didn't click on any link whatsoever. The tab didn't show anything, just a white screen. When she tried to close the tab, nothing happened. She kept pressing the X to close it, but instead the tab turned to full size. Suddenly, the white screen of the tab turned completely black.
It wasn't only the tab screen that turned black, all the button and everything else on her screen did the same.
Even her mouse disappeared off the screen.
After a little while, she decided to turn her computer off because she simply thought it was broken.
This was a fatal mistake.
Out of nowhere, a full screen picture of :iconcaptainfanclub: appeared on the black screen.
It was most unexpected.
