Since the Harry Potter movie's coming out in 2 days I was in the mood to draw something, well...Harry Potter-ish, and I'm a big Snape fan, so I drew Young Snape from the new movie.

It took me about 2 hours, and I used whatever pencils I could find on my desk.

EDIT: Re-scanned....and yea I dont watch the show anymore. Its gotten silly...Now available as a print

Yeaaa House=win :D

Finally finished, took forever. I had some issues with the paper because I think it brushed up against some wax paper, and it left a residue on it, so the surface was kinda waxy, and therefore the neck and the shoulders have a different texture :( Oh well

Looking forward to next week's episode, which hopefully will be better than last night's :/

Holyyyyyy crap. This took me so long. I really wish it hadn't, but that's real life for ya. I've been working full-time during the summer at an amusement park....I was not amused, and it sucks ass. Worked 7-9 hrs a day, 5 days a week. Ugh. So I've barely been able to get any drawing or guitar playing in. Oh well, such is life.

So, you should all know who this man is. If not, where have you been?

I started this drawing right after seeing the Harry Potter movie, for the first time :p I loved it, and I was totally moved by Michael Gambon's performance as Dumbledore. He brought tears to my eyes many times during that film. Especially the scene in the cave when he battles the inferi, he looked magnificent with his last burst of strength. Gah! I could go on forever.

Anywho, hope you all enjoy this drawing, because despite the horror of actually doing all the detail, I really like this one :)

Time:....very, very long.

Ref: An amazing poster from the film. Original images belong to WB, not mine, yadda yadda yadda, u get the gist. I wouldn't be working as a carny if I did own any of the original shit :p

Remember when you were young,
You shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes,
Like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire
Of childhood and stardom,
Blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!

You reached for the secret too soon,
You cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night,
And exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome
With random precision,
Rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

Nobody knows where you are,
How near or how far.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Pile on many more layers
And I'll be joining you there.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
And we'll bask in the shadow
Of yesterday's triumph,
And sail on the steel breeze.
Come on you boy child,
You winner and loser,
Come on you miner for truth and delusion, and shine!

- Shine on You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd

I listened to this song non-stop while drawing this

Another one I did of Young Snape. Gotta say that I luv him, and I hope his part is kept in the new movie (which I'm seeing tomorrow, and I've had tickets for since last week :D).

Anywho, about 2 hrs of work and a whole bunch of pencils.

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Mad world
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Mad World
Enlarging your world
Mad World.

Love that song, and thought it was somewhat Walter-esque.

So, a quick drawing of Walter Kovacs (aka Rorschach) from the Watchmen movie. Sorry about it being so small, it was done in my pocket sketchbook. I was in the doctors office, waiting of course forever, and I always carry a sketchbook with me, and I had this picture from the movie on my Ipod, so I sketched away...it's sooo small :p. So was the original, so I tried.

"Talent is an accident of genes - and a responsibility." - Alan Rickman

Done. This took a lot longer than I wanted it too, but this was my last week of College, and I had assignments exams to write. I had to squeeze this in when I could.

I just love this man. I discovered him when I was 9, back when Galaxy Quest first came out, and I thought he was just the greatest thing ever. Then, when I found out he was gonna play Snape in the Harry Potter movies, I was devoted for life.

When I was 12, I wrote a letter to him, and sent a picture. I handwrote the letter, and asked for his autograph. He sent the picture back to me, signed, and a nice letter from his agent. How could u not love this man. He also signed a picture for my younger cousin, who was 9 at the time. A lot of fans said they were getting letters of apology back, saying he was very busy and couldn't sign. But, he took the time to sign a few pics for 2 little kids. Is he not great?

So, that is my story, of my love for Alan Rickman.

Done. Finished this at the mall today. Hey draw in public, good way to advertise. Got 8 ppl interested in getting me to draw something, and 5 ppl took my picture with my drawing, very cool.

And, I know it isn't Edward Cullen or "Twilight" related, but hopefully people will look at it, and like it. Even though I am no "Twilight" fan by any means (I tried, I really did) I do look and appreciate the effort put into pieces related to it, so I only hope people will do the same for mine.

I'm a girl of my word aren't I? Told you all I'd have it done by Monday, annnnd here it is. Jackie Earle Haley....also known as Duuuuukes in Semi-Pro (lol that movie's jks), Ronnie in Little Children, and of course, Rorchach baby! He's an amazing actor, and he seems like an awesome guy.

So, despite working yesturday (which was torture) and having two assignments due today, as well as an exam, I finished. I feel so accomplished and crap. Alrighty peeps, enjoy.

Next, finish David Bowie drawing.

Edit: Thanks for all the responses peeps, u guys are awesome.

EDIT...#2: Dude, some random chick offered me $300...cdn, for this drawing. I was just chillin there in the mall drinking my ice capp, and drawing in my sketchbook, and I guess this drawing fell out onto the table. So I picked it up and some random girl that was walking by goes "OMG! IS THAT A DRAWING OF JEH?!! DID U DRAW THAT? I LUV HIM! I WILL GIVE U LIKE, $300 FOR THAT!"....I was like, umm, no. Sry, it's not for sale.
I was terrified actuallly, would she rip my face off and take it if I said no? And, wow, ppl like this do exist outside the internet. I am also very frightened for the poor man, should he ever encounter this person :p "Run Jackie Run!"....ppl fascinate me.
