Saw this line art and really wanted to do a quick paintup on it. I really dig this guy's style, it's a shame he's decided to give up comics. I totally understand why though.

for the moment it's the hardiest I had to color, in a big part cos the picture was small, and because the construction lines still apeared. so i spent a lot of time cleaning it !
for the colors well....
it in the same mood of one of eb benes colored work called "nina". I liked the colors, so I went that way.
here ,blue is hard to find in such a colors sheme rahh :lol:

This is totally fake, I wish I could work for a comic company. Its like a dream of mine. Any way I did this to try and make the jump from anime to american comics. It's a lot harder in my opinion. Any way, I would love some comments. I want to say a special thank you to daggerpoint. He has been a great influence and put up some amazing tutorials on digital inking. Check him out.

I think that this was the second piece I have colored since I started back in August. I also inked this too, but that's not really my thing. This piece was a blast to do though and I love how it came out.
