"...[I know] I can never bring myself to ask you these questions out loud. This, though, is yours - if you should choose to read it." -from The Memory Church, by Tim Sebastian
Last night, I burned a thousand letters-
All written to you, though I didn't know it.
I'm not sure why I burned them-
Probably some romantic notion of you somehow inhaling the smoke-
Understanding the contents in the process.
The plan, though, backfired in a way-
I'm the one who coughed and choked on the words I've wanted to say-
The smell of crackling paper has seeped into my clothes-
While newsprint covers the inside of my sinuses
Lining itself around my head- settling in the very place it started-
Aching for a successful penultimate release.
For committing the thoughts to paper is not the final release-
Nor is showing them to you, really-
Unless I tell you they were all for you.
I've waited for this line between us to shift-
I've watched it thicken, impossibly thicken-
And then, stret

Alone at last,
She takes her clothes off...
For one night,
And one night only...
She is all she needs...
She sees her black dress,
Bought almost a year back,
Tries it on to find it loose,
A small smile come to her face...
Looking through the mirror,
Seeing herself look back...
Holding her was someone important,
But once again,
Its just the mirror...
She goes to her table,
A voice in her head ask...
"Table for two?"
She hold back a tear...
Not tonight, just me...
She lights a candle...
And a storm beings to brew,
Imagines the man she once was with...
She sips her wine and feels her lips...
Imagining the first kiss...
Could almost hear...
"You look beautiful"
The power goes out...
The candle half exhuasted,
A silhouette gleams on the wall...
The girl in the black dress,
Lets out a small cry...
Alone at last,
No one to care...
To hear she is beautiful,
From anyone else...
Except the echo in her head...

There's a pretty dress
I've never worn in public
A kind of ebony blue jewel.
When I am by myself
sometimes I will try it on.
It's just cloth, but I feel beautiful for once.
I spin in circles
watching the beaded flowers dance
about my bare ankles
A simple joy inside.
It is then I realize
There is no one to see me
in this dress i so admire.
I dare not venture
Into the sea of plain faces
For the stares I cannot stand
as they laugh inside
at my dress I like to wear
when no one is around.
I am saddened again
as I hang my dress in shame.
I need to stop pretending
that love will find me.
I should stop trying to convince myself;
I know I am not attractive.
But somewhere inside,
On those nights
when everyone is gone
And I take out my dress once more
a thin hope arises.
Maybe someone, somewhere
Thinks I am beautiful.
For now it is I
staring at my reflection.
I am that person
that thinks I could have been
in some past life
A lady with high class.

"It's kinda difficult to hide anything from this girl." Koibito confessed. "You know, she would be a perfect agent. Maybe in intelligence department."
"Since it looks like you're lacking some." sneered the younger girl with a childish snirk.
As much as he wanted to slap the look off her face, he could imagine the neverending list of consequences that would be done on him if he did.
They eventually stopped at the local shopping mall, where Kaen was forced to follow the agent and her sister. He wished he could've taken her up on her word to make her stay home, like enforcing bed rest. But it seemed lik

The same sound that woke her every morning seemed to buzzed with such a dullness. Koibito was glad that the new day had finally come. She stared at her window, some sun attempting to shine in through the drawn curtains.
She reached for a blanket, but to her surprise, all of the sheets had been tossed on the floor. She knew she only did that if she had a bad dream. Bt she had a bad habit of not remembering any dreams, either good or bad.
It wasn't new that she would have one, seeing how the events of the night before had played out.
But it was done.
She struggled to get out of bed and drag herself to the shower. She didn't like showering in the mornings, but she just dropped dead on her bed when she got home late last night and only bothered to change clothes.
Washed and fully awakened, she rushed to get an outfit together. Her closet was mostly full of dark clothing and random bright accessories that she liked to adorn herself with. She followed her boss's trait of adding a

"'Sup, Miss V!" The plum haired driver replied. "But of course, why else would I be calling my favorite boss-lady!"
"Flattery will only get you so far."
"But I really mean it!" Koibi said in a whiny voice, akin to a child. But quickly laughed it off and continued, "I got some less than awesome news."

The first one was a simple girl of purple. She and her younger sister were said to be the origins of the entire UTAU community. She was indeed the first of this race, and therefore became default.
She seemed lonesome, which was what I had seen earlier, but she had also been somewhat aggressive. A girl who loved rocket propelled grenades was sure to be somewhat of a war enthusiast, wasn't she?
Her voice was airy, and not the clearest. It wasn't organic, either. Maybe she wasn't a good starter, but maybe she could still hold some value.
She was short, for being fifteen. But she seemed average for her age. Maybe Japanese were mostly this short? Even so, there were plenty of Japanese who weren't that short.
She was one of the so called Three UTAU girls, and all three appeared to be the same age. Or at least, that's what I thought.
The other girl I had found was different. She was a

"Hotel? More like house!" Kyan exclaimed. "Remember, we get to live here for a year! We're exchange UTAU's."

Mirai spun around to see who was approaching her. She saw nothing, and ultimately felt nothing until a steel toed boot came from above and knocked her into the ground. After recovering, she became pissed and charged at whoever it was that had attacked her, but saw that no one was around. "C'mon, where are you?!" she growled. "I'm not getting any younger jus' floatin' around, ya know?"
A strong power level came from behind. "There ya are!" she growled, bringing her leg around in a round-house kick; knocking the assailent back. The person just rubbed the tender spot and faced her. Mirai saw that he looked a lot like her; especially when he grinned in a psychotic manner. "Not bad." he commented. "I guess I shouldn't have let my guard down against my own offspring."

A poisonous apple being fed to me causing illness and pain to rip throughout my body, the crimson tears I would cry could fill my body so much as my gluttonous ways.
Yet it seems this is the worst way, for my heart to be teared away. My blood spilling among the floor representing the love I love no more. Misusing a curse Cupid three my way not loving my partner but straying away.
I close my eyes and count the ways,
The thousand ways I could die today

Where are you,
you told me you would hold me
Where could you be,
you told me you would love me
but now that the love is all gone
and I'm falling, crashing from the sky
My superman is gone.
I miss him,
I love him,
I need him,
I'd die for him,
Where is he,
Where could he be?
Before I die, I remember one last thing
As my life flashed before my eyes
all I could see is him and me
The love we shared
the laughter we cried
those last tears in my eyes
The pain in my heart
and me reaching out
And him being gone.

The snow has no expression.
It masks a world of brightness, but
This yet has to be uncovered.
Clouds of grey, bare trees of black,
Stand out against the pale;
Their shades serve to heighten the unease
Of a lifeless landscape sleeping.
The clouds pass, cool blue is discovered
As the canvas sky is lit
By a yellow sun, hidden once, no longer,
And turns the ice to crystal.
Baby green pokes its head
From beneath snow, from high branches.
Crocuses of purple brave the chill
In their quest to liven the scene.
White fades, yet white remains
In clouds high over a waking earth
And crystal ice turns to shimmering drops
That sparkle on fresh new leaves.
Splashes of red and gold and pink
Unfold from green and brown and white
While Nature sighs, her color-warmed world
Awake at last, alight.
