The events detailed in this fic are based around in game RP between my main Jaideng Dawnspark and other players during the WOTLK prelaunch and Death Knight introduction.
This chapter introduces Niakel Brimstalk who belongs to my favorite RP partner on WoW and who I use with full permission here.
The sun rode just above the horizon, turning the sky into ribbons of fire. The light skipped across the surface of the bay's clear blue green depths, leaving trails of glittering diamonds as it went.

I didn't want to.
I just wanted love.
But it was taken.
Then I realized
That there might be
Another one out there for me.
But what can I do
When I'm in love with two?
Who really is
My one true love.
Who was just a thrill?
You know about her,
And I know about you,
So, I'm hurting you
And that's hurting me, too.
If she knew
Then she'd hurt, too.
What am I supposed to do
When I'm in love with two?
LoveThere is that one person who fills your mind at night, who is there, the last thing that fades from the edges of your consciousness as you drift off into peaceful slumber. When you wake up, that persons face rises to the surface of your thoughts like the golden sun rises outside your window. You lay there piled high with cozy blankets, your eyes closed but your mind awake, and that someones name, drifting through your mind, is a cue for an unseen puppet-master, who, with invisible threads, pulls the corners of your mouth into the most content of smiles. And that smile stays there, making you ever-warmer, far longer than any other waking thought would cause it to stay. And that, perhaps, (if Im not very much mistaken) is love.Love7 years ago in General Non-Fiction More Like This

That talent that they pride themselves on,
Or maybe you have to tell them they haven't got it.
That one thing they think they should focus on.
My friend wanted to be an actor for so long,
But how are you meant to say, "You can't act."?
My friend's talent for poetry is seemingly gone,
But how can I tell my good friend that?
It's not that they didn't once have the talent of course,
Or maybe they didn't, and were doomed from the first.
How can you tell someone that they just haven't got it?
And where did it go, once it had been lost?

This one is Mine.I see the look in your eye as you follow her around the room,This one is Mine.2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I saw the poem you wrote, and told her she'd know whom.
Who it was for is what she asked, and walked off without a clue,
And you stared at her back whispering "I love you.".
Well, I'm going to be nice and give you a warning here,
This one is mine, and only mine, do I make myself clear?
I know she loves me more than words can express,
And I tell you, she is mine, that girl in that dress.
I read that poem, and I must tell you something,
I love her, and she loves me, for me she would do anything.
So, whatever you're waiting for, the right place, the right time?
Stop waiting, because I'm not letting go, I'm telling you. She's mine.

Don't even ask how I got them,
Man, I don't even know!
But one thing is very clear to me,
I'll whisper it too...
These aren't here to protect me son,
They're here to protect you!
For if I wasn't chained,
If I wasn't locked down tight-
I'd have my hands up,
Taking you on as my next fight.
'Cause all I know is fighting,
Either fittin' or spittin'
You better take up your stance,
Or I'll be startin' the hittin',
And ain't no chance for quittin'!
No tappin' or the ref stop.
Because it's time to teach you,
How we really do hip-hop!

All the little gubbins and bits, the girls are nabbin'!
Rollin' through the seas in a ship that is black,
You asked me for my cannons but you saw I was stacked!
Forty-two, I got em on the prows and sides,

Like a tippin' iceberg yeah our crew is tight.
We raidin' merchant ships deep in the dead of the night.
See I'm a ghost-like killer, soul to the swiller,
To think I would have been the son of a miller.
No grains in my coach, just treasure that's fat.
I got me ten trunks full and a chest in the back.
Now we headin' to the seas cause we bury it right?
Ya ain't gonna find where we it put it aight!
No maps, no clues,
We don't touch the booze.
You won't find my treasure
Cause I ain't gonna lose...

Teach me to pray without asking.
I talk too much, loud and discordant.
I never hear your call.
Lord, make me still.
Teach me to lie in repose.
I move all day, fierce and clumsy.
I never feel your guiding hand.
My heart is frantic,
my mind ill at ease,
thrumming and twitching
with unceasing demands.
Lord, quiet me, still me.

In Flanders' fields, the poppies blow,
and we who walk among them know
that here men fought, and bravely died
with equal courage, side by side;
the lark has overcome the crow.
We touch the Dead in memory –
embrace them through the century.
The earth enshrines their valiant hearts
in Flanders' fields.
The torch has guttered years ago;
the enemy has been laid low.
And though your names should slowly fade,
your blood a better world has made.
Rest you now where the poppies grow
in Flanders' fields.

I used to be a fucking idiot!
I guess that's why some people never took me serious,
But I have learned from the truth that is hideous;
My only wish is that I wasn't so oblivious...
Because when I took a fall from my cloud,
I hit the solid ground, rose up to be pushed down,
Misery surround now.
I'm just fightin' this war,
Wagin' for my own crown,
Letter for letter,
So I can say I never backed down.
Facing adversity, my only adversary,
Is my own drive to make success a necessity.
From when I greet the morning until I say my goodnight.
I'll still be chasing after dreams until I walk in the light.
So for the patience and the people still readin' my works,
I can tell you I will never die, that's just a quirk.
I bet you'll see me comin' back like I'm raised from the dead,
And I will leave you with emotions that'll ring in your head!

A light novel by Chen Yuan Wen
BY WHICH MEASURE do we seek to judge the morally justified and the morally corrupt? Who becomes the saviour of the story and who becomes the villainous wretch? It is a question that is easily answered, even if the answer might seem distasteful: for it is the victor, in any situation, who will marked as a hero. They will always be justified, regardless of their actions, and any misbehaviour will simply be explained away as a part of their natural function. In the end, it matters not how many lives were sacrificed; nor does it matter how many women or children were slain. This is simply passed off as the price of victory, a collateral damage to which no one is held accountable. The defeated will be forgotten, whilst the victor basks in the glory and support of both the heavens and the earth. It is an illusion, a bias that we implant in ourselves; it is a heuristic idea that helps us recognise the alpha figure o

Fenris opened the door and saw Hawke standing before him. "Ah, welcome." He shot her a half-smile as he ushered her inside. She looked around, taking notice of how little he had done to try and tidy up from their scraps the night before.
"Thank you." Hawke beamed and walked into the front room, taking care not to step in the pools of blood that littered the area. She was fully aware that this would be a very awkward conversation and had taken mental notes of what to speak about, but found herself admiring the morning sun streaming through the holes in the roof. It was oddly beautiful despite the dismal house. "With a bit of fixing up, this could be a nice place." Her voice was kind but he only replied with a low grumble. "Well just an idea." She followed behind him as they reached the room upstairs where they had last looked for Danarius just hours ago.
Hawke fumbled awkwardly as she looked for a place to sit that wasn't covered in either dust and debris or gore.

He hadnt always hated tea. In fact, when he was little he loved it. It always made Arthurs horrible cooking go down easier.
But after the revolution, Alfred stopped liking it. Not only was it un-patriotic, the taxes on it had forced him to fight with Arthur.
He knew it was rude to refuse the cup of tea that Honda had offered him, but he really couldnt stand the taste.
No thanks, Im not thirsty!
Are you sure, America-san?
Alfred nodded, saying,
I dont really . Like tea.
Honda nodded knowingly and walked over to Arthur, offering him the tea. Alfred sighed and leaned against the wall of the UN meeting room. The place was in chaos, like it always was before the meeting started. He closed his eyes, memories he didnt want to deal with right now invading his senses. He wanted to go home now.

Its not as if the redhead owner was cruel before this new sense began to surround him, but whenever he was around he always held himself with so much pride and it was all business, he was always serious about his work.
So to now see him in such a state was either a miracle or just a phase that the guests worried would quickly pass.
Axel smiled wider as he walked into his elevator, sliding in his ID card and scanning his thumb. The smile could just not leave his lips, it was as if the simple expression was glued and would stick forever. Especially when he walking onto the hall of the penthouse towards his room.

Well it is now. The long blonde sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
I was just examining his chest when he started screaming. He says nothing but Master, I dont understand it.
This Master must have been a big part of his life. The Superior sighed as he stepped to the other side of the bed, placing a hand upon the boys cheek. He was somewhat surprised as the small redhead actually leaned into his palm.
Did he still have an attitude?
Oh yes! Vexen quickly responded, his hatred for the kid coming back immediately.
Well then, I guess we will have to break that. I am rather curious what is up this boys sleeve. When he wakes bring him to training room five. Well have Xaldin see if he can teach him some lessons

Vethoreas smirked and his eyes glittered, remembering how it had played out so perfectly.
A worthy adversary she had been. A couple of his brothers had already fallen to her before he even knew of her, a sin'dorei woman who had triumphed and fed on the essence of nathrezim. But through the foolish actions of one of his own kind, she had been reduced from his opponent to his pawn. A cost she willingly took upon herself to save the life of another.
"A favor for a favor..." The arcanist swallowed hard. Her voice and expression were calm, determined, and resolute. "I swear."

The blonde followed quietly behind him, still as tense as ever and Rox could see that every once in a while the blonde would look every which way as if something dangerous was near.
Rox didnt care. The blonde was just probably following by orders of Axel. And now that Rox actually looked around the store he saw a lot of Axes guards around. At least five not including Cloud. Was Axe really that popular that he needed his guards with him at all times.

I could hear him. I dont know why nor do I know how but I could hear him. I could hear his feet slamming against the hall floor as he chased me. I could hear his panting and his calls as if he was right behind me. Why was he following me so closely?
Couldnt he just see that I wanted to be alone? I didnt want to talk to him right now.
The Good Critic's GuideThe Good Critic's Guide:The Good Critic's Guide3 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
I have noticed that many critics on DA tend to leave rather harsh and sometimes subjective critiques on the pages of the artists being critiqued. Their rationale for doing so is based on the concept that 'we shouldn't molly-coddle each other and instead "tell it like it is"'. However this type of critique reflects poorly on one who is critiquing as opposed to the one who is being critiqued and I will explain why throughout the course of this guide. In essence I hope to use this resource as a way of teaching potential critics how to properly focus their abilities and direct their critiques in a manner that will allow them to be rated as a good critic.
Note: Before reading on, take note that this guide is only for literary works as I have no experience judging visual art and therefore cannot create a rating scale for those.
