JoltHeh heh heh!
Well now, lets get this party started!
I play for only myself
Don't try to make a request
You won't find me on a shelf
I am not your average artist
I party from the heart
I party where I want
Other artists play their part
They ruin all the fun
Lables are like the devil
They make you sign off your soul
That music is never real
Personality is not their goal
You want reality and hope?
Maby you want outta the boat
Then get up and toss the dope
Come out and listen to Jolt
You whant something new?
Instead of the same old trash
Then I got something for you
Cuz I don't play for cash
What did those losers think?
You don't hear crap from me
They'll pay me to play their stink
But I don't care cuz I play for free

in the field overgrown with wildflowers.
each a brilliant, shining, golden gleam
that reflected off your eyes,
and made me think of endless skies
and the touch of your lips to mine.
a never ending dream,
the fractured fairytale of us:
that got us lost in each others arms for hours
until all our breath was each others names,
and the wistless wind
carried them for miles and miles.
and the only witness to our
was the sun and cloudy stars above.
our heads, pillowed on the earthy dampness
the smell of goldenrod in our heads
and the sweetness of honeysuckle on our lips.
i dream of us
getting lost for hours,
somewhere, past the city where we met.
twenty miles south of nowhere.
where you would write
love songs on my skin,
with the tip of your tongue
tracing whimsical patterns into my mouth
and the only witness
to our sometimes bliss
would be the wind in our hair
and the goldenrod sky

Part Eight: Grounded
Saint scowled as he shut his bedroom door and let his backpack slide off his shoulder to the surprisingly wet-kept floor. It landed with a soft thump, spilling its contents over the carpet as Saint stepped over them and collapsed on the bed, pulling one of the pillows over his head to block out any noise. His mother had finally gotten fed up with him getting home late from school and grounded him for the remaining week. Still shed been spending a lot of time with her new boyfriend and would probably forget about the punishment by Wednesday
Saint let the pillow flop to the floor, pulling himself up so he could sit cross-legged and leaned back against the wall. He could hear them in the other room; his mothers dramatic chuckle at something her boyfriend had said it probably wasnt even funny. Saint pressed his palms over his ears as her giggles turned into sensual moans, followed soon after by a suggestive thump and crash of somet

And somehow he knows I can't see
Just how much he really cares about me.
And maybe I do take advantage of the way
He holds me when I cry on a rainy day
Even if I tell him I don't want to stay.
I don't know why he puts up with what I put him through
But if he ever wasn't there, I don't know what I'd do
I don't want anyone else to have his 'I love you'.
Tomorrow morning, before my day is spun
I'll try not to think about the life after this one
But remember my blessings and the brightness of the sun
Because he's my light within the rain
An angel I've been gifted for all the pain
Even if I forget, even if I complain--
He'll forgive me of my sins and help me up to try again.

Something so perfect is must be a sin
You're a god lost in human skin
A reminder I don't want to be where I've been
Ring of fire, ring of void, ring on the hand of your soon-to-be wife
A symbol of devotion thoughout this life
To stay by your side through the glory and strife
Darling, don't beg me to put down the knife.
Perhaps I do like it when the blood runs red
Though maybe I don't like whatever you said
Silver and glass coat the ground we now tread
Reflecting like mirrors the tears that I bled
You're my rescue from this crazy fight
Cause if I have you I don't care who's right
Life will continue and this love will ignite
Everything that shines in the dead of the night.

Hearing the waves banish your strife
Feeling the winds embrace like kin
Knowing the ground supports all life
How it obeys no living thing
None can master its energy
None can silence its ring
None can tame its beauty
How it holds our lives in its shroud
The song of the rain through the trees
The gurgle of a stream on the ground
The angry bliss of the sea
How flight is its fickle gift
Swiriling the leaves in a breath
Throwing the trees in a fit
Theiving your hat with a laugh
How it holds the last retreat
The foundation holding all at bay
Standing strong for all it meets
Always the last to change its ways

Jack jumped as Gwen screamed in his comm, What the hell Gwen, whats wrong?
Ummm .. Gwen sounded strange, almost as if she was struggling not to laugh.
Gwen! Answer me, snapped Jack.
Umm I just need to you to get back here quickly. She hesitated then was shouting, Oh no! Put that down this minute. Owen Harper, Im talking to you .
Before Jack could respond, Gwen was gone. Leaving him with all sorts of ideas running through his mind.
Gwen?! Ianto?! shouted Jack, running through the cog door, half expecting to find a rampaging alien loose in the hub or at least the team suffering from multiple injuries.
Instead he heard the sound of a childs shriek and before he knew it a small boy who was wearing one of Jacks T-shirts like a dress - launched himself at Jack, hugging him

I want to leave and go far away
Because all that is here,
Is your painful memory.
I wake up every morning,
My eyes filling with tears,
Because the spot next to me
I was addicted to
The happiness and love
You made me feel
I loved how you
Filled my senses and
Invaded my mind
And how you could make
The hurt and pain go away.
You made me believe in true love,
But now I understand a broken heart.
I thought we were meant to be
Forever and always
You left me.
Crying in the rain.
I have never felt so
Alone or hurt,
Bet never more in love either.
I miss you.
I love you.
I need you.
But it doesn't matter
You needed what I couldn't give you.
You wanted someone who I am not.
And so you gave up on me
Once you found that someone who could,
Love wasn't enough for us,
And you left my heart in pieces
But I meant it when I said forever.
I'll always be here waiting.
Writers BlockIt just sat there. The bastard was mocking me. Sitting there next to the coffee cup. Next to the cigarette. The blank page littered with ash. Drops of coffee. Every now and then the wind would turn the page over, revealing more blank pages, flinging my pen off the table.Writers Block7 years ago in Transgressive More Like This
I only need to fill up one page. One page to know I'm still sane. But fuck. It used to come across as a simple task. I used to fill up three pages after my coffee and cigarettes. I've finished them, but still nothing. No brilliant ideas, no inspiration. Nothing.
Maybe one more cigarette and one more coffee. Maybe then the thoughts will flow. Stop this fucking page from screwing with my mind. But maybe it's gone. Maybe I'm stuck without ideas.
The tear felt good. Each little bit of wire ripping the eyelet to bits. The blank page was gone.
Maybe tomorrow'll be better. I'll leave this nothingness. Have a shower, a sleep, then try again tomorrow.
The air seemed to relax as I shut the notebook. I felt stronger walking home.
