Thor: Tales of AsgardThis thing is an animated prequel to the movie Thor, taking place when Thor and Loki were teenagers, probably around the age of sixteen. I decided to give it a watch, thinking maybe it'd have some more back story to everything, especially to Thor and Loki's relationship.Thor: Tales of Asgard1 year ago in Personal More Like This
And... Not really so much.
The villain was a character never even mentioned in the movie, the Front Giants weren't really bad guys (on the subject, I kept waiting for Laufey to show up, but the Frost Giant king wasn't him), and they didn't really go into Thor and Loki's relationship, or their relationship with their family. Hell, Frigga (Thor and Loki's mother) wasn't even mentioned.
The animation was also hella weird, a little choppy, and the style was kind of unpleasant to look at. The characters don't even look like themselves. When did Loki have brown hair? What the heck is up with the Warriors Three? Why does Sif look so pisse

It was Princess Yggdra Artwald's birthday, and the whole of Riviera rejoiced at this wonderful occasion.
Rich cities provided better (material) gifts.
Towns-- usually rich with resources and self-sustaining-- offered food.
Villages were neither as rich as cities and most were struggling to sustain themselves. However, they were eager to please the Queen. Realizing that the best gifts did not have to be material, they decided to show the Queen the richness of their culture through performing arts.
Gifts, food, entertainments... It all seemed like a jigsaw puzzle with all the pieces in place.
Elendia, the village unique in its people from all walks of life, decided to do something that everyone could participate in their own way: a play.
Velvet red curtains were lifted, revealing what seemed like a battlefield. The backdrop of the stage was a dark sky

Sometimes Gods behave like humans do. They are immanent of mistakes, sorrow and empathy. And also they are immanent of love, which can be started completely insane and pass years of hardship. Yet many Gods just don't want to believe in it and sometimes fall into a trap through self-deceit.
Aesir's life is hasteless and boring. Day to day all the same: Gold Apples, epos, useless tournaments, wine barrels etc, etc. All this seems twice as boring, when you are young heir of the th

He inspected the system of glass tubes and flasks he had carefully arranged, glanced at one of the books scattered around him, and made a few small adjustments. Finally, he measured out a scoop of a dark green powder and tipped it into one of the flasks, which held about an inch of clear liquid. Immediately the mixture began to effervesce, and Loki inserted a curling glass tube into the flask opening just in time for the semisolid mixture, now a pale orange, to pass through it to another flask and another reaction. At the end of its course, the set-up was able to produce a few droplets of silver liquid, which Loki caught in a small vial, smiling as he sealed it. He picked up his quill again, dipped it into the inkwell, and was quickly scribbling some notes into the blank book nearest to him on the desk when he heard a clatter of footsteps that sounded as if everyone in the palace had decided tountitled as of yet little!Loki and little!Thor fic1 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Legends/Tales of AsgardI woke up one frosty morning, dew still forming on the grass out my bedroom window. I would never get close enough to the window, for father prevented me from making contact with anything icy. I would get out of bed, throw my cape over my shoulders, and run down the stairs, waiting for the warm breakfast mama would make: Biscuits and jam, my most favorite combination. Thor was down there before me, slamming his fists on the table wildly, indeed, very excited. I sat down next to him, trying to keep myself away from him, as he was demanding for food.Legends/Tales of Asgard10 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
“Calm down, Thor. Breakfast is on its way.” Mama would say. I glared at him from time to time a bit fearfully, but I side tracked on the smell of the biscuits cooking. I could tell they were almost ready.
