Autumn quickly turned her head, in reaction to hearing her old name. Her pale blue hair was easily tossed by the winds that had begun to engulf London's city streets, reminding her how much faster she needed to walk; and how much farther she needed to go.
While walking she began to let her mind wonder once again, reminiscing of years before when today was filled with joy and laughter. Now it was saddening and only reminded her of her lonesomeness.
With your glass eyes
What kind of dream
Can you see?
She remembered all to well receiving the doll that now sat upon her folded arm, and the promise that it came with. She gently caressed the doll's porcelain face and looked in to her bright blue eyes, only reminding her evermore of what she had given up for this doll.
She smiled as she stroked the dolls silky blonde tresses and looked at the small blue fleur de lis under her left eye.
Are you fascinated with?
When her daydreams had ended she found herself in a familiar place
Boiling Water-3It's funny. When someone's asleep, how they can hear voices and interpret them in their dreams. Like, if someone yells at you you're a looser, someone in the dream does, and maybe you don't wake up. That's sort of like what Demyx was doing. He wasn't exactly sure where the dream ended and reality started.Boiling Water-39 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Then again what was reality to him?
But, he prayed this was only a dream.
He was being shaken, not violently but shaken nonetheless. Someone was saying his name slowly, and with slurred words. Demyx only saw darkness, so he sighed, knowing whatever he'd been dreaming about was over. When he opened his eyes, he tried to yelp. Someone's hand was placed over his mouth.
Blue eyes stared into a pair of full dilated, tired eyes that looked amazingly hollow. He tried to say something again. The hand wouldn't let him.
"Sh, damn it shut up." Axel removed his hand, letting Demyx sit up. The tall man was sitting on his knees, looking blank and completely relaxed. "God you sleep hard."

"Axel, you promised."
"I look rediculas."
"Axel, you look fine. Just relax okay?"
"I look rediculas!"
"No you don't!"
"Yes, I do!"
"Argh! Fine, you look absolutely horrid! Does /that/ make you feel better you stubborn…you!"
"You know what?" There was a splashing noise down the white hall, if you were walking down it. And a rush of water was soon ejected out of the glass door, letting he smell of Chlorine touch your senses.
"/Now/ you look wet AND rediculas!"
"I should light you up. So help me…"
"No, I wont. Not with my own death. Come on, Axel." Demyx pleaded. Man this guy was stubborn. They were both tugging at each other's last nerve, and they'd been in one room for /maybe/ twenty minutes.
Axel was now completely soaked. All he wore were his boxers and a pair of low riding now very dark blue and wet, jeans. Hi shirt and shoes at been tossed onto a chair. Demyx had changed into a pair of white shin-l

Long svelte tongues dripping with words that form ivy like tendrils,
which creep and meander into my brain like some dime store thief.
Watching the world with heavy lidded eyes like a slow motion train wreck,
a carnivorous cartoon that seems amusing to my lithium laced soul.
Suspending time with my breath held in anticipation of a promise,
a finer more savory taste in the next round of this dual personality realism.
Renewing the lease on my facade with nails that render all hope sub par,
no one tries the inner door- no entrance needed- dead end front depth will suffice.
Preponderant majority rules, so step aside let the wolves run the flock,
an indispensable dream that you will lose yourself in as your sheep attire never fit so well.
Close one eye and take another look- close both and you will truly see,
darkness wont hide the inadequacies –always a step away from the happy ending.
A LamentOh how I wish I could share in the gentle strokes of the painter's brushA Lament2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Oh how I long to press pen to pad, to create landscapes so lush
To show other eyes what I see in my mind would be bliss
Forever I hope to be blessed with the sculptor's gift
To bring to life the music that rattles within my head
To give breath to the creatures I've imagined and bred
I curse these hands and their pitiful limitations
I curse this row of keys for the scornful imitations
Words are all I might use to craft entire worlds
Clumsy things that threaten to trip when the tongue unfurls
I cannot sing, I cannot dance, I cannot frame the perfect picture
No art of mine shall sit atop a gallery to act as a tincture
Oh damnable syllables, oh failing syntax
You cannot fill the frame a mind often lacks
Thus my envy burns for all who have the power
My skin tinges green at those who can capture the simple yearning of Spring showers
So I curse my words with a bitter hatred
And I will mourn my useless hands, even on my d

Forgive me my love.
For I have found another.
One who is kind, caring, mesmerizing, and glowing with hope.
As you were, before our darkest day.
You remember don't you?
You came home, and found a chair, lying in solitude on its side.
But you stopped caring when you saw your thrashing husband gasping for his last and lone breath.
And instead of leaving well enough alone, you saved him.
You saved me.
But I ask, why save me just to leave, and have me suffer?
So you packed your things.
You slammed the car door.
And you drove away.
Not even batting an eye.
Did your heart long for my warmth?
Or was I yet another insignificant pawn in your twisted game of betrayal?
I kept wondering this as you disappeared from view.
And I kept staring at the sunset, waiting for your return.
So much time wasted.
But then I thought.
"Why show you any compassion?"
So I walked back to the lone chair, and stood it upright.
The night was horrid.
The peace and serenity was dismantled by ale and blood.
As if you cared

Now you learn that the night is long
Sing of the stars, oh how they twinkle
That you may know your eyes and how they sprinkle
Voices shake and rise to plead
As little throats tear and bleed
Learn the lessons well, open your ears
And let little minds find their fears
Do you fear the thunder child?
Or the world beyond, all tangled and wild?
You will know that it is the lightning, in truth
That will tear from you nail and tooth
For the time is here, little ones
When you shall pray hard to see the sun
So wrap yourselves as best you can
Because, little ones, I am the Boogeyman

Chapter 1: Mercy
Mercy. That was hardly the word for what was surely going to transpire upon his return to the Nemesis. Starscream flew as slowly as he dared, trying to put as much time between him and his fate as possible. However, he knew that if he were to veer even for a moment from his path that Megatron would be upon him within a matter of minutes. At least in that instance, it would be he who was the master of his own fate rather than to lay himself at the feet of that tyrant. But no, he had pleaded, begged even for this chance. Probably the last one he would ever be given.
Starscream cursed inwardly. Stellar cycles of careful planning with nothing to gain but failure after failure. He had been wrong to pin the fool on Megatron. Just one more of the lies that he had told himself. 'Megatron is weak. He's losing his touch on reality.' All the more reason that he, Starscream, should be the leader, by force if necessary. He would use Megatron's own weaknesses against him and usurp h

Shocked, disgusted and admittedly to a great part also terrified the mech starred into the mirror, or more precisely at the reflection of his spark and especially the aberration.
Now, every medic would tell him, that it was definitely not an aberration, but he was the Lord High Protector Megatron and for someone like him having been knocked up by stranger after a night of too much highgrade definitely qualified the result as an absolutely unwanted aberration.
In a spur of the moment decision the silver warrior pulled out a gun from subspace and tried to take aim at the sparklet, but it was too small and circled too fast around his own orb to take aim and while temporarily of unsound mind Megatron wasn't suicidal, left aside, that of all the ways to die for a cybertronian this had to be the most undignified.
Growling the Lord High Protector put the gun away again and closed his chest plates. He obviously wouldn't get rid of that mistake now, but sooner or lat
Basketball, Robots, and Police Chases Chap. 2The next morning, Erica lay dozing in her bed, curled comfortably under her covers while Chance was buried next to Erica's stomach. Two brown heads peered around the door, green eyes locking onto the girl in the bed. The two little girls, Grace and Addie, crept into the room and with a squeal, jumped onto Erica's bed, surprising Chance from his slumber and nearly throwing him off the bed. The dog slipped off his master's bed and trotted to his normal dog bed, curling back up and falling asleep.
"Morning Erica!" The twin girls shouted.
Tired and groggy, Erica rubbed at her face, trying to get the sleep out of her eyes. She let out a loud yawn and tossed her head back on

A wolf basks beneath the night,
Gasping the air below the moons light,
Howling at the rays of midnight sky,
Bewildering the moment with an inner sigh,
I stand alone
In the darkness of this rugged land,
Where nothing can go hand in hand,
Staring into the sky through eyes wistfully,
Into a realm where I can never be truly,
Be on my own
Once I belonged to a pack,
Where trails of footprints go in track,
As we ventured into the mountains bliss,
Where nothing can be seen in the abyss,
I felt so alone
At a time when I needed them most,
My brethren were in the forest lost,
As I journeyed through the woods of Faerie,
Lost in the sensation of a moonlight ferry,
For all the brethren who had lied,
For every lone wolf who had died,
For the hunt where we never succeeded,
For the forest we had never seceded,
For the lost that will never be bribed.
As I wail a lupine howl through the night sky,
An answer to the moon, this is my wo

A world separate from the black eternity I've come to know
A hub, it seems, with travelers wandering to and fro

Yet never am I allowed aboard, bidden evermore to wait at the start
A traveler's center, a rest stop, a terminal
It is all of these things, and much more I may never know
I've walked the lines of the eateries, availed myself in the arcades
I've met those who come and go, though few wished to stay
Friends I have made, never to be seen again
Yet still I wait, yearning for a release of my restraints
A pretty girl, there she gave me a kiss
An energetic young lad, he gave me his smile as a gift
And both away, off to their destinations
Leaving me to wait for break of day, much to my consternation
Just last night I visited again, as if to check in
I sheltered myself amidst the game machines, finding solace in the din

TFP: Basketball, Robots, and Police Chases Chap.1The birds were chirping softly in their cozy nests. Their whistling was bright, cheerful, and sang of new delight and that spring was on the way. A mother robin flew down from her perch on a telephone pole and landed on the nest where her babies were twittering. Blue eyes peered over the camera before looking down at the newly taken photo of the young oak tree in the park. The branches were starting to bud, a sign of spring and that school would be out in less than two months. Legs crossed Indian style, a blonde haired teen set down her camera before pulling out a notebook from a brown satchel. Wearing only a white crochet, lace halter top, dark blue jean shorts, and gold gladiator shoes, the girl was eagerly waiting for spring. Snatching a pencil from behind her ear, Erica Houston quickly wrote down several notes of her

You use to tell me
everythig would be okay
You use to hold me
and wipe my tears away
You use to
take my hand
and tell me that
that I've been through
and that I could put
my trust in you
So many times you looked
into my eyes
and told me
nothing more than lies
So much bullshit
you had me believe
Like when you said
you'd never leave
And I trusted
every word you spoke
it was all a joke
I don't know how
I couldn't see
that you would soon
be leaving me
I was such a fool,
I should've known
that I would always
Because no one
can stand to be with me
All this time
I meant nothing to you
Wish I could forget
I ever knew you
I lost myself when you left that day
Because you swore we'd never sever
But I know now, it's true what they say...
...Nothing lasts forever

The shadow marveled at the sight, "You, Optimus Prime... have fallen." It drew closer, unnoticed, and chuckled as the Prime was cut from the webbing, and air-lifted away, "You were always so weak, all of you... it's what amuses me so!" The shadow then drifted away, wondering if Airachnid had succeeded in the girl's survival. After all, keeping them alive was never the huntress's strong suite.
