I wanted to make some kanzashi from different mediums, and I'm not sure, I have an obsession with candy wrappers.

The words/logos on a few of those pics are backwards coz I had to take the pics from a mirror.

I probably gained a couple pounds eating all of that candy..
It took about a week to make the belt itself.

I want to make another one (or a few) but I'll have to get a lot of candy. And I rarely eat candy.

There isn't a "Skittles" wrapper/logo on this belt. I was devastated that I didn't include it. The next one maybe, but I'd want that one.

Aaand, I'm thinking about making a belt from the drink labels from the 2-liter soda bottles. I'd try stamps but they're expensive. And I might try snack foods from those little snack packs...like, Doritos or Teddy Grahams or something.

took me two years; a) because im lazy, and b) because it took foreverrrrrrr....made from scratch. started off making a dress frame with hula-hoops held up together by fabric stretches...then made a dress out of black fabric, then covered it up in trash basically- kind donations from my friends' daily pig out sessions.....and yes....glued on wrapper by wrapper all the way around, and made a candy neckline using gummi bears, mnms, and skittles, and jelly babies...glued them on and covered them in varnish and button polish. yet not finished sadly

I made this on the way to a band competition in Vegas and wore it with my dress. Next to the shoes...this was my favorite.

The bodice of the dress. This was the biggest part of the project. It was really hard because I only got one chance to do this...no second chances...and if I did need a second chance, that meant making another 10 or 20 feet of chain.
