Thoughts on Sponge Out of Water trailerWelp, I can safely say the new SpongeBob movie trailer has restored my faith in not only the movie, but the show as well. The hand-drawn segments were hilarious and really felt like the classic era of the show, even if I think the backgrounds look a little strange. The live action sequences? To be honest, I have pretty mixed thoughts on them. They weren't bad, but they just felt a little... generic. Some of the jokes feel like they've been done before, but I guess they could've been worse. The characters, despite looking a bit like toys, look great in CGI, and I'm so glad they didn't go the chipmunk route and make them look like actual sea creatures. THAT would've been a turn-off. At first I thought the idea of the characters becoming superheroes was really stupid, but after seeing them in action, I could now go as far as saying it's one of the reasons I'm excited for this movie.Thoughts on Sponge Out of Water trailer11 months ago in Personal More Like This

American Comics, Manga...AND WAR!This is a major turning point in the history of comics, World War II. This period of time not only changed comics as we knew them, but also other areas in graphics such as propaganda posters. Now mid to late 1930's we've seen the birth of the modern comic book. Due to the war as well we're also now seeing the birth of war comics. An obvious example of this as I'm sure many of you have already guessed is Captain America Comics in 1941 (before American involvement in the war). Captain America was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby who worked for Timely Comics, which of course has now become Marvel Comics. He gained amazing popularity and is often fighting the Axis powers in World War II.American Comics, Manga...AND WAR!3 years ago in Art Features More Like This

Even though a lot of people don't like the movies that are the worst list; Those "bad" movies actually do have cult followings here on DA and Fanfiction.Com .
*"Rock-a-Doodle" : While not really a cult following, but it's story is very popular in the crossover sections. With many people trying to make their version actually better than Bluth's take with many different media characters and their OCs taking over the place of the "Rock-a-Doodle" characters (and I even made one myself called "Rock-a-Runner" ).
And even adding their own twists into the story like new songs, making the character in the Chanticleer role have more screen-time and a background story; or even add in the full lyrics of the good songs that were cut short/covered by too much narrations.
Also a fellow deviant here is working on one right now.

1) No Service
STORY: Mickey and Donald plan to buy a snack for a picnic with their girlfriends. However, the place where they buy it has a rule: "No shirt, no shoes, no service!" Mickey has no shirt and Donald has no shoes, so they both decide for one to get the snacks with more clothes than the other. Mickey ends up being naked and tries to avoid being seen naked by everyone!
I just love how they happened to get away with showing Mickey Mouse NAKED for the majority of the time! No censors! Because Mickey has no... "junk"! That was a pretty risky move for the first cartoon and debut for the series, but with what they did, they did it pretty well! It at least has traditional cartoo

This is for all my new watchers:
So you may notice that a lot of my drawings, mainly my Jimenitoon pictures and drawings and images, have the copyright symbol (©) which means that I hold all rights to the characters and nobody else can draw them or make fan art about them. And even if you ask me for permission to draw them, I can't/won't let you. Even if you wanna surprise me on my birthday with a drawing of me and my characters, I still can't/wouldn't let you. And you're probably thinking it's not fair since so many other people here on DeviantArt do let other people draw their own OCs as requests, art trades, commissions, gifts, etc. Well, it's not all about that at all.

Instead Of Just Doing Fan Art...Why not creating your own original idea?Instead Of Just Doing Fan Art...11 months ago in Personal More Like This
I mean, I’m not saying that drawing fan art is a bad thing or a waste of time. I mean, it’s good to show some expression and opinions (even your love or hate) on any program you’ve seen or heard of.
What I mean to say is that why not drawing a cartoon or make a story from your very own head?
You see me make my own series for the past years yet I still continue to innovate more. Plus, with your fandom, you can use things from video games, movies, and others as an inspiration for your work. Now even though it may not look like something from what you were inspired of, but that is what makes it original. Me, for instance, I get some ideas all over. I get most of them from Disney, others Warner Brothers and other studios, Nintendo and Sega, and many others.
In fact, if you can create your own, your original creation can be the most successful you ever had. Now, I’m not prophet or fortune teller, but all I

Hey folks, that's right, it's time to look at another Pooh's Adventures spinoff. Yes,Pooh's Adventures, when one takes a Disney movie and adds Winnie the Pooh clips throughout for no reason. Well, it's strangely popular on Youtube and people have used other cartoons in place of Pooh. One such spinoff I have looked at before is the Spongebob and Friends Adventures by Scroopfan, which used edited movies to tell a story about Spongebob and a ragtag team of cartoons trying to fight the evil of the 'Villain Leage'. Now here's an instalment of Alex's Adventures by LionKingRulezAgain (which actually has a whole team of people behind it).
Yes, Alex. Alex the lion from Madagascar. He was actually a member of the 'Shell Louge Squad' from the aforementioned Spongebob and Friends but now he seems to have his own adventure series with characters from Madagascar, El Arca

you don't have to be a member of the group, but you might want to be so that you can keep up with updates and changes. Please put a link to the group and or this journal entry and mention the contest in the description of your entry. Your entry must fall under the poetry category(this is a poetry group) I will be pretty lenient though. The poem can be part of a picture or accompanied by a picture, but the poem has to be the main focus. your poem can be a short like a haiku or really long

The worst anti-vaccine argumentsWhile those already indoctrinated against modern medicine tend to be a lost cause, it's always good to provide information for people who are still on the fence or uncertain! The worst anti-vaccine arguments4 months ago in Personal More Like This
So, here's ten of the things I hear most often about vaccines, why they're wrong, and some relevant links.
"There's MERCURY in them!"
The claim that vaccines are dangerous because they "contain mercury" is a deliberate misunderstanding of chemistry designed to mislead the public.
Mercury is an element in the organic compound, thimerosal, in much the same way that deadly, toxic chlorine is an element in the compound sodium-chloride, otherwise known as salt - the same salt you put on your food.
Raw elements can be dangerous in their pure form, but help build entirely harmless and even strictly beneficial compounds.
Thimerosal is used as a preservative agent preventing a vaccine from becoming contaminat

Noah's Ark - short reviewOut of curiosity, I recently watched the 2007 version of NOAH'S ARK, an animated movie from Argentina. The film was originally titled EL ARCA ("The Ark" in English, duh), and received an English dub that same year. However, Shout! Factory was "kind" enough to release the English and original Spanish dub on DVD a few months ago. I saw it at my local video store, so I figured it could be good for some laughs.Noah's Ark - short review1 year ago in Personal More Like This
So we all know the story about Noah - Noah is asked by God (who's potrayed as a fat black man, for some reason) to build an ark for his family and for two of every animal in the world, for a flood is approaching. A flood that will wipe away every single person on the planet, and will start life anew. So Noah and his family work hard on this boat, and....
Yeah, you don't wanna hear about this, right? Who cares about NOAH in the movie NOAH'S ARK? Clearly the focus should be on the animals right? Yeah...the movie barely even focuses on Noah and his family. It's about the ani

Actually, ignoring me is incredibly easy. All you have to do is not read my page and move on with your life. Amazing. Like Kajm, I've forgotten all about you for significant lengths of time, only for you to show up again moaning about how mad I make you by existing.
Anyways, a while back, when I was more politically active on DeviantArt, I posted a link on Conservatoons' page. Scythe then replied to me, "Are you trolling? That's obviously a fake misconception written by bible-worshiping loonies." Our interactions spiraled downhill from there.

Shading, shading, shading, shading, SHADING. It's easily one of the hardest things to pull off correctly in art. Heck, I remember a time not to long ago when I struggled with; I struggled with it so much in fact that I practically hid from it for the longest time. Don't worry, though: the cool thing about shading is that it's just like riding a bicycle: once you learn it, it becomes hardwired into your brain; you never forget how to do it. So, with those lovely thoughts in mind, let us begin!
Step 1: Find Your Light Source
What is a light source, you so nobly ask me? Well, it's exactly what it sounds like: it's the place where your light is coming from. Now, this "light source" can either be "

2. You know those "Ask My Jimenitoons" Q and A things? Someone asked a question to Dark Wizard that made me rethink the character's being. The thing is, Dark Wizard has a thing for chopping people's heads off (he unfortunately doesn't succeed at any point). But seeing how I was gonna put that in my book and have him fail comedically, I was wondering if that was even okay to show to kids. The user asked, "DW: Is there anything you do besides chopping off heads?" And as I thought of an answer, I thought of something that would be considered much friendlier for this character rather than a brutal murderer. I then thought of him being a jokester, a guy who likes pulling pranks on people by making their lives miserable. His plans eventually backfire on him, though. This also ties in to
