"Jack Frost!" called the voice with Australian accent. "…you're so dead!" he threatened the winter spirit he wasn't able to find already. "…you'll see, when I get you…!" And he kept like that, looking behind every piece of snow, frozen object, etc. E. Astern was pissed.
That morning he woke up waiting willing to find some of the eggs around him and waiting to be painted or something. Instead, once he opened his eyes, he found them sticked to the wall in some kind of frozen prison writing the word: "KANGAROO"
"Maybe you can run, but not hide!" said still trying to intimidate the un-found white-haired trickster. So concentrated in the chasing was the rabbit, that he never really noticed the sudden appearance of a blond hair from behind some tree.
"…dang frozen…" he kept mumbling to himself " now that trickster will see…. Once I get my hands on him…!"

Chapter 1/25: Decorations
Ben? Abbys tone made it quite clear that she wasnt really questioning if the person perched precariously at the top of the ladder leaning against the side of the house was her husband. Rather, she was asking whether or not he was currently sane enough to recognize his own name.
Yes, Abigail? Ben grinned down at her from over his shoulder, very careful not to shift his weight too much. He was pretty sure that being able to hang by Christmas lights was a myth, and he didnt really relish the idea of plummeting three stories to join his wife on the ground, thank you very much. Hed wait until it was possible to climb down.
What are you doing? Again with the sanity questioning tone. Honestly, one would think she didnt trust him!
Not that she had any particular reason to trust his sanity. He was the one up on the ladder at dawn, after all.
What does it l

Abigail Gates sighed as she turned around carefully on the icy sidewalknot the easiest feat in these tiny high heelsto adjust Rileys tuxedo jacket for what was swiftly approaching the fiftieth time.
Honestly, it was like he was trying to annoy her out of making him go to the party! And her husband, the jerk, wasnt helping either as he kept laughing harder the more Riley whined. They were like a couple of teenage boys; they positively fed off each other. The more Ben laughed, the more Riley whined, and made Ben laugh more!
Will you two behave, she sighed, hitting Riley smartly on the back of the hand as he tried to adjust the jacket so it was more comfortable. He pouted, but she ignored him. This is the ann

Dedicated to “Handsome Jack” a young boy I know and am friends with tand whom I wish for full hope in life. He is not related or based on Jack Frost in anyway shape or form.
It was a warm spring evening. You were sitting on the front porch watching the kids have their usual Easter Egg hunt. There's this one blonde hair boy that you were watching in particular. It was your neighbor's great grandson, Jack. You called him “Handsome Jack” for he was a little heartthrob in his own cute boyish way. Blue expressive eyes full of hope and wonder. Soft and silky blonde hair, and a smile so wide it was small. You would do anything to keep that smile on his face. Even if it meant engaging in childish activities.
“C'mon!” Jack hollers. “Help me find the eggs!”
You haven't gone egg hunting, for...Lord knows how many year

His secondand possibly fatalmistake had been to think that taking Riley with him would be a good idea.
Nobody cared about the kid more than he did, of this Ben was sure, but if Riley said his feet hurt one more time then he was taking his next trip down an escalator head first.
What are we even looking for, Riley complained from the other side of an isle of shoes. Weve been in a hundred stores and youve only bought your dad a new glasses case. Which, by the way, is the lamest present ever.
He needs it, Ben explained, reaching up and opening a box of shoes and frowning at the contents. He wasnt sure, but he thought Abby probably already owned a pair just like these.

Under A Gibbous MoonIt was a dark evening, the light of a starkly gibbous moon shone ominously onto a lone Arkham building. A place rooted firmly into one of the more undesirable districts of that cursed city. The light trickled through into its Georgian interior, as if afraid of the dancing shadows it threw forward like devilish spectres. The pointed ears and peaked form of something alien to the world were cast darkly onto Howard Phillip Lovecraft by the softly tortured light. He sat reading the "The Cask of Amontillado", muttering to himself, strange musings punctuated by the curling of his lips. The cat's shadow disappeared and the scene seemed twisted for a moment, silent but for the screams of another world that could be heard echoing in the dark circuitous passageways of his mind.Under A Gibbous Moon3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
