I've always wanted to discover more about him, the passionate artist whose works have been a great source of inspiration to me.
This month, I present you Joël Sueur - SUDOR
Tell us a little about yourself.
I was born in France in 1949 in a small provincial town near the Atlantic Ocean ; in 1955, I lived in the Pyrenees in a beautiful city, Pau ... primary school and secondary school until the age of 14 years . In 1964, with my parents we live near Paris, in Robinson, I'm always living in this town... I started working at the age of 15 years in a small printing of the Latin Quarter. At 23, I entered in the "Journal officiel", a very large printing press that publishes legislations and the debates of the National Assembly.

Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be another “ism” on the art world horizon, what with the growing accessibility of all
art technique and technology rendering all the “schools of art” equally available and doable and therefore making impossible the dominance
or even existence of any current art “movement” … comes “suggestivism,” the “ism” best summing up what art is in our lives today, defined
more by what it is not, rather than what it is.
"Suggestivist" art is not slave to any on

“ Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst."
– Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of people quote the above at me when I start to moan that I've taken a billion photographs on a specific day and none of them turned out to be worth anything. The truth is you might take a thousand or you might take 4 photographs before you unearth something that's recognized, liked and respected. It doesn't matter either way because you're creating first and foremost for yourself. When you start to take money for your hobby is when you need to look at technique, skills and actual finished product to ensure that you are meeting the sort of quality criteria needed. So whilst the quote is a famous thought - provoking one - it isn't necessarily true!
With the Seventeenth edition of Photography weekly upon us I'd like to just emphasize that the support given is wonderful, the feedback is fantastic and the general stats o

I put on the better feast?

WTF? New Silent Hill game announced... o_oI need to get this off my chest.WTF? New Silent Hill game announced... o_o9 months ago in Personal More Like This
OKAY... A new Silent Hill game by Hideo kojima, Guillermo del Toro and actor Norman Reedus? Well fuck me, that is one weird combination. At this rate i am not surprised by the involvment of random individuals, what is surprising though is that Silent Hill is still alive after too many horrendous games and less than stellar sales. Now, i am not thrilled by Kojima's involvment since he's been calling out for a new SH for a while, Del Toro is kind of a bogus since his films arent bad but not that good eihter. Reedus though, why? Why the fuck? the guy from the Walking Dead, are you serious? Pfft Konami is so random. They keep bastardizing the games that i used to love so much. Who's next? Danny Elfman as composer? Now that would be disastrous.
Gotta say though after watching the demo i was surprised at how good it actually looks. After all, it can't be worse than Homecoming or Downpour, can it?
I'm kinda optimistic now, but won't get my hopes too high

What are peoples favourite Zombie kills in the vast collection of Zombie Films out there?
Comment and let us know. I'm curious...o.0 Or if your feeling a little bit more imaginative than that then,
How would you go about doing your own awesome Zombie kill?
Personally mine is in Dawn of the dead (The newer version) when the guy is getting dragged through the sewers and is trigger happy on the horde of zombies chasing them.

Just....... Why, Nintendo?
Theodoros AngelopoulosGreece’s award-winning film director Angelopoulos died late on Tuesday, 24 January 2012, several hours after being involved in an accident while shooting his latest film (The other sea) in Athens. The filmmaker had been with his crew in the area of Drapetsona, near Piraeus when he was hit by a motorcycle driven by an off-duty police officer, on Tuesday evening. The accident occurred when Angelopoulos, 76, attempted to cross a busy road without wearing a special reflective uniform. He was taken to the hospital, where he was treated in an intensive care unit but succumbed to his serious injuries several hours later. Before expiring, Angelopoulos suffered at least one heart attack.Theodoros Angelopoulos3 years ago in Personal More Like This
